Next week the South Africa tour of West Indies will start with a two match test series. I am actually relieved that they restricted the number of matches to two. As we saw during the recent test series between West Indies and England, the former are no longer capable of competing in longer format of the game against quality opposition. after watching the 1st inngins between Zimbabwe and Ireland, i laugh for their batting performance. cause only their opener batsmen were played well and rest of players weren't able to contribute for their team by making decent score, Just keep out with lower runs. In the 1st inngins, 210-10 runs were scored by Zimbabwe where Prince Masvaure as well as Joylord Gumbie contributed directly and 250-10 runs were Scored by Ireland where Peter Moor had great contribution. And i was waiting to see, what will happened in 2nd inngins if their best batsmen get out with lower score lol. So was happened in 2nd inngins. But Sean Williams(40) and Dion Myers(57) managed decent amount of runs for Zimbabwe team but final Score was only 197-10 runs. Besides Ireland top batsman Peter Moor out with zero runs and rest if top batsman did lower score. Lost 3 wickets at 6-3 runs and 5 wickets gone at 21-5 runs. I thought Ireland was going to lose this match but i really wondered how Lorcan Tucker(56) and Andy McBrine(55) hold their team tightly and made half century each and had great contribution. Finally Ireland won and i like finished Which was kind of unexpected
After watching West Indies' performance in the first match of this series, I had no expectations from this team. I was sure West Indies would lose all three Test matches. However, the West Indies batsmen made a great comeback in the first innings of the second match. But as usual West Indies lost the match due to poor second innings performance.

The Bangladesh A team was able to win the match against the Pakistan A team. But Radis was able to do it barely. Bangladesh definitely performed to actually be able to win this match. But there was every chance for the Pakistan A team to actually win this match. I agree that the Bangladeshi bowling unit made a good comeback. in this match bangladeshi bowlers were actually able to restrict the pakistani players. As we know, you need to bowl out your opponent cheaply once in a test match that is going to be enough. And that is what happened. Bangladesh was able to bowl out pakistan cheaply in pakistans first innings. That made things possible for the bangladesh a team.
That was a close win by Bangladesh A team. There was only two unofficial test matches which has been played already and first one won by Pakistan A team and second one won by Bangladesh A team. Second match was very exciting because Bangladesh won this match by only 5 runs. Means match was very tough and exciting.
The target was 296 runs in the second inning but Pakistan made only 290 runs. Well both teams played well.
One more thing is that they have 2 unofficial ODIs ahead and I think that will be very exciting matches. Because both teams are looking at same level at this time so they will give a tough time eachother.

WI is not super rich like BCCI, ECB or Australia so they are doing whatever they can with the funds allotted for them, I am sensing they are doing better than their recent past but still a long way to go if they want to be champion team like good old days.
I would say the West Indies squad is still very strong. And there is no doubt about it. But the main problem of this team is that the players of the team are not interested in playing in the national team jersey. They perform in various franchise leagues throughout the year, and earn huge amounts of money. But playing with national team they can't earn much money.
Also the second problem of West Indies is that the players of this squad are interested in playing in T20 format. But not interested to play in ODI and Test format. Perhaps the players have very little patience. So despite performing well in T20 format, this team's performance in Test and ODI format is very erratic and weak.
West Indies' plight is unlikely to go away. But if the West Indies Cricket Board is strict then they can change their situation. I think just for a time Shamar Joseph has played amazingly and after that, we always see him in bad form but with this West Indies team has no advantage. He is in the team just because of Australia's innings. Zimbabwe vs Island Ireland won this match by four wickets Ireland played this test match brilliantly. Mark Wood has amazing performance in the last test match between England and West Indies. He took 5 wickets for England with his great bowling. His performance was best and helped for the team victory. Because of his wonderful and amazing play, he was the man of the match.
