Agreed, even though I don't expect the launch to be in 2017, that wouldn't make much sense at this point. Still it's puzzling, on HitBTC it's 8.5 USD for 1 tezos now, some FOMO is kicking in?

Price will go crazy the closer we reach to the launch.
Most likely coinbase will list Tezos for a ride to Top 3 position.

If they could save those funds, they're more than rich now.

If I'm not mistaken, funds collected during ICO are held by BitcoinSuisse in crypto and only part of the funds was cashed for the development purposes, salaries and stuff like that. But it's only my opinion, of course.

I couldn't join tezos ICO. I wonder one important thing. They raised crazy amount of bitcoin and ethereum. Could they save them complately? Or they cashed it out?

If they could save those funds, they're more than rich now.

Yes, but to see it growing instead than decreasing has some significance. (5 dollars barrier broken btw.)
For instance SONM was decreasing a lot on HitBTC during the ICO, due to the ICO hacking, and indeed it didn't recover for a while and started below ICO price.

I stepped away from investing in tezos during the ICO because there were to many red flags for me. Looking back Im glad I didnt. With all the stuff that went wrong, it might still be a long way for Tezos to overcome this. Will monitor the project though.

I personally know a few people waiting on it that don't trust the Hitbtc futures. The ICO was uncapped but was for only 2 weeks 6 months ago. A ton of new people have entered crypto since then and Tezos is a popular name.
