This is the land of wolves now & you're not a wolf

According to this article in the guardian, the prospectus states that they were only supposed to go for about 893k in tokens on July 1st. We are far and beyond that by miles

I threw in 1BTC

We'll see how it all turns out.

i have invest some btc too on this project
hope will get nice return  Wink

What's the expeted price short/long term? $1? $50? $100??

may be max $50 in long term it will make a 25 billion cap if they manage 500 million in ICO

$50?!  I think we'd be very lucky if it ever hits $1 but sure, if it hits $50 I'll buy a lambo with you guys, hahaha.   Tongue

Hahaha...true that. Just look at the valuation  of other hyped ICO's of the year status and BAT. They are struggling to float above their ICO price. Exclusivity my friends is the thing, if supply of token is too high, everyone will have it, and no on wants to buy it.

If all my assumptions fail then I missed a good ico. It's happened plenty of times before so I think I will get over it. If the worst case scenario is I don't make money but I don't lose it either, I can live with that.

Could be much more. They are not creating any shitty coin.It is as innovative as etherium. So if you missed out on eth ico

Comparing the eth ico to this one is absurd.
Eth raised like $15m, which at the time was a lot it was a great ico because they were the first with this smart contract idea.
Tezos is nothing more than copying the idea with a couple differences I consider minor. It is similar to Lisk, but unlike Lisk the hyped ico is going to take in like 50x+ more than Lisk's did.
Would you buy a coin that had just pumped out of hype to a very high price? I wouldn't and never will, which is why i'm skipping this hyped copycat coin. $500m should be a hopeful destination for a coin like this, not a starting point.
Unlike most here, I predict a huge shakeout in crypto soon and btc price will be much less than now when Tezos hits the exchanges. This will make this overbought ico coin worth even less, because the crypto scene will be in rest mode rather than spend mode as now.

With that huge amount of fund raised, I will decided to stay way from the ICO, see if it is just a hype and even there is no doubt, I will certainly get this tokens below the ICO price when listed on the exchange. The space is now about gambling rather than based on investment decision.

If this ICO brings at least one dollar cent profit to anyone who contributed at least the minimum 0.1 BTC, that means tesoz will have cap the same or more than the cap of Ethereum.  I will be dead silly to assume anything near this.

To the contributors: Sorry for being direct and maybe harsh, but you already gained what this ICO could gain you: Make some people rich out of nothing more than half page words on a website. They will thank you at the end of ICO.
Agree, with all the hypes people live in illusions, the reality will tell once everything cools down...

I'm in for 1.7 ETH. That's about 1/4 of what I had originally planned. There's so much money going in already that I'm going to wait until it hits exchanges and see what happens with the price. If it drops hard I'll buy in with the other 3/4.

Sounds like a good idea and is exactly what I'm going to do

Hmm ok initial test send took about 2 hours to confirm, sent some from an exchange...stupid fees are so high right now and the exchange seems to be taking a long time to broadcast transactions for some reason.

Hello
There is something I don’t understand so i would like to take an example.
I Suppose :
1 BTC = 6000 tz = 2000€  (we use bonus 20%).

The Ico end with :
50000 btc at 2000€ ( for 1 bitcoin) = 100 million €
250000 eth at 200€ (for 1 eth)  = 50 million € or = 25000 btc

So they will « offer »  50000 btc x 6000 tz = 300 000 000 tz
For eth we have : 25000 btc x 6000 tz = 150 000 000 tz

so the available supply = 450 000 000 coins (and never more)

Is it correct or not ?

Thank You

It's correct.. plus 5% interest every year from PoS.. so the total supply will double in 14 years..

Is there any web link to get to your current wallet if you want to contribute additional funds to your same wallet?  It looks like you have to start over every time. There is no wallet link except the public key page right?

I was about to ask the same, what if I want to fund my wallet with more coins? Should I make a new one? I cant find my previous Bitcoin address

you had to save pdf file while creating your wallet. there was written the number of your wallet, qr-code, private key (15 words) and public key. but if you only wrote down on paper your private key without saving pdf file you can try to paste in internet browser https://crowdfund.tezos.com/#!/step/4/Your_public_key      and as you understood instead of words "Your_public_key" you have to insert your public key with 36 characters for instance xn3M4o2zzzASEzIrKtDRUfLoVUsOP6Em1lkR  Smiley

Thanks but cannot find on the pdf my personalized Bitcoin deposit address to add more Tezos funds
It's on page 2, but if you can't find it just make another wallet and keep both.

How long did it take for your transactions to confirm on the check page?  I sent a test transaction of a little over 0.1 btc to see if it's working correctly and so far still not showing up (about 45 minutes ago now) despite having multiple confirmations.  Don't wanna send any larger amounts until I know this crap works.
