A member with newbie account promise to pay 0.5 btc for some stupid thing which may have many possible answer and everyone starts replying.Do you guys really think he will pay 0.5 btc for this?

Doesn't really matter. I like riddles, would just hate it if nothing was there to be found.

I just saw something by the way:

The title words are not aligned on the left. Rookie editing mistake.

The M in mastering does not align with the B of bitcoin, the line and the U of unlocking.

Yes. You don't think people tell the truth on the internet? I've already booked my ticket into space on the proceeds.

The ants give it a really awesome style, like the ants you will need work hard to get any bitcoins  Tongue

Anyhow, for me the wrong thing is that there is really no way to master Bitcoin, it cant be mastered. Sure you can learn one thing or two but you will never be the all mighty god of Bitcoin.

PS: Y u no BTC instead of B

Ants are relevant in a any way to Bitcoin? Because I fail to find any analogy. But I there is nothing 'wrong' with ants of leaves, just a picture.
But after skimming though some more covers from this O'Reilly publisher I see that there is whole series of these awful animal themed covers.

The problem for me is that I never heard about analog cryptocurrencies - this is clear mistake imo.
Ant's are considered the workers, miners if you will.
And yes O'Reilly loves to incorporate animals to all their technology books. They are relevant to the material to one shape or form.

I don't think the OP's question is regarding the picture at all but the wording of the title.

The writer has ant in his name, hence the ants.

Another possibility might be that an early release featured as

"unlocking digital crypto-currencies" with a dash between crypto and currencies, which it does not feature anymore.

The leaf on the bottom left.

The main nerves do not split like that on leaves.

As a (relatively) early adopted, the new price pump is making me feel generous... Who is smart enough to tell me what is wrong with this book cover? 0.5 BTC reward for the right answer.

"Mastering Bitcoin" by Andreas Antonopolous

It looks like the ants are holding a leaf with their mouths, and that is not how ants carry things.

If it is not that then it is something else to do with the ants

My God, I've never seen that cover before. It's really bad. My other beef with it is that it uses 'digital cryptocurrencies' instead of just cryptocurrencies. Is there such a thing as an analogue crypto?
Oh, that is a good one!

It's not copyrighted
Why can it not be copyrighted? It is an authors words and the company O'Reilly paid for his/her's words so they can publish it.
If it can't be copyrighted what would stop you from stealing their words and writing a book of your own?  Wink

The question is not right how you made it.
What could be wrong, the color or the items painted there?
For me the color is not right, a logo of bitcoin maybe is missing etc..

Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency
singular
they say cryptocurrencies meaning more than just bitcoin. such as litecoin, darkcoin, and all the other alt coins out there. Which could not be explained in a 298 page book. Roll Eyes
