What wrong with the normal way of purchasing it. I think developers has been making purchase even before the invention of that product and that is actually not a pocket size product

This was truly stunning alchemy in reverse. They managed to turn 100 MILLION dollars into a few Raspberry Pis with a bit of tinkering. And it looks like that's above average for VC land as they actually finished up with a product real people can buy. A parallel universe indeed.
They must have found an old timer who had some experience with trying actually fucking deliver a real product, but I could be crazy, it always seems everyone wants to just make ideas and profit of investors. (How many projects has Google done this with now?)

with a 128GB SSD, that machine is kinda obsolete now as BTC core weight 200 GB plus now.

It might have something to do with the fact that this topic is from 2015.   Wink

But yes, perhaps they could have done a slightly better job of future-proofing them.

I think that for $400 they could have at least added a an OS with a slick design. The command functions seem cool but only for tech savvy people.

That's because the device was project to be used by tech savvy people.
The issue is that no tech savvy person would pay such a price for an S5 chip on a pi, like why would they? It really wasn't the best for hardware but I guess if you wanted the software that failed you could have bought it for that.

Exactly, but people and the media think that 21 Inc aimed to sell the computer to the masses. The 21 bitcoin computer was mean to be sold to the tech savvy people.

I’m not hating, good idea but for 400$ lets be honest....its not the best offer.

Great comedy value. There's this too https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3m0kr9/21_inc_is_about_to_fuel_the_next_evolution_of/

I swear to God, I hadn't laughed this much in a long time.

I wonder if they let the paid shills loose after people started to question their business model? sure looks like a planned shill campaign.
