i wish they would make the battery life last longer.. that's what people truly want. and a way of doing that is to get the CPUs to not run so hot.

It is expected that intense usage of a powerful phone will deplete the battery as fast as it heats up. It is inevitable that at some point better cooling technology will be required so that the phones remain usable for those who choose to use it intensively.

In the meantime we can simply choose to use our device less, and dare I say maybe even switch it off from time-to-time.

the current issue with smartphones is the battery life drain from using data.. it drops so fast, and you can tell by how hot the phone feels.

I'm using the HTC one right now, I love it and I regret absolutely nothing! Sure at first I thought it's a bit large, but you get used to it pretty fast. I can't even tell the difference anymore.
One thing though...it gets reeeally hot when it's updating, and I mean like burning actual hot. I don't really even now how it survives such a heat OR me dropping it all the time (I'm so sorry). But it does. It's pretty much a miracle worker for me. And yeah it's absolutely freakin beautiful!
No matter the heat, I definitely recommend!

They're still pretty expensive. Around £40 per month on contract or about £600 if you want to buy one on Pay as You Go from a service provider, but you can get them a bit cheaper if you look around. You can get them on eBay brand new for around £400 so I'm tempted to do that. They're being released officially sometime next month over here so I might wait and see if there's any good deals.

The red one looks great. I've been switching between Apple and Android for a few years now - currently using an iPhone 5S but starting to regret the choice given the limited screen size in comparison to say the Samsung and HTC phones.

Tempted to sell my iPhone 5S and get a 4G enabled HTC - though perhaps the premium may put me off.

That would be an excellent choice! HTC FTW!!!

I was thinking about buying either a HTC One M8 or the Sony Experia Z2? Does anyone have any opinions on which I should get or the differences? They both seem ver similar on most fronts.
TRUST ME! Get the M8 and I'm talking from experience!
Sony is.. well.. it's Sony, so yeah.

Nice phone, I think I have one for sale if anyone interested

You think? Is it the red one or one of the original colours? I like the glacial silver version but this new 'glamour red' one looks sweet.

They said could, not does, and everything we use in our life, has a risk factor to it (it might be minimal in some cases but still it exist) example, the industry producing CO2 and other dangerous gas, Electronics producing different range of electromagnetic fields and rays could be nocive to our health and can cause cancer.....ect ect

A for Humanity being undeveloped, well that's like saying the human race is still very young in comparison with the age of the univers which is awalys true but doesn't mean much
Look at the battery technology as an example.
Humanity sucks. It should be erased and a v2 started.

Nanotube batteries/capacitors incoming! long live nanotechnology !

I own old HTC, and man it was shit

maybe this one will be better, I expected lower price though
There will be no low prices. It's too expensive to produce the smartphone of this caliber. I think regular 650 eur. is the price here.

Materials are materials. I'm not impressed by this feat in the nano-tech field.
And you think that engineering, designing, industrializing,..................... and producing those nanomaterials doesn't require stateof the art equipement and knowledge in nanotechnology field ?
You are really underestimating this field, I do understand it is not a given and a lot of people have no clue about nanotechnology but please do some reading you'll be really surprised.
Humanity is undeveloped.
Like I said, I'm hard to impress.
