You are right man. I have been seeing this type of questions in every dip. I hope this post can be pinned. In any case, Bitcoin seems to recover, we will be seeing posts about how great Bitcoin is.

Bitcoin will not die.. though it will have this kind of dip..Crypto believer just have to hold onto their asset.

The greatest fall does not mean the death. Naturally Bitcoin will survive and it will recover very fast. I hope, it will be gaining even faster than losing its value. Some patience is exactly what we all need now.

I see so many new users getting to this forum asking stupid questions about the price. Will it die? Is this the end? What am I going to do?

Here is an answer from someone who s been in crypto since 2012 and who s seen dozens and dozens of these crypto and BTC crashes where every single time a new newbie would come to this forum claiming this was the end.

Guess what, BTC s still here.

It will be here tomorrow and in two weeks and in two years.

Who s not here? These same newbies who dumped at low prices and lost their money in the process.

Why BTC will not die? CAUSE NOTHING FUNDAMENTAL HAS CHANGED!!!! This technology is still superior to traditional banks, it will keep growing and developing.

The amound of FUD you people see is just a futile attempt to shave off weak hands and take their money so do not be stupid and do not let them take your money.

If you are not a day trader, hold!!!

If you cannot control your panic, simply stay away from your PC or mobile, do not interract with crypto for a few days or weeks and things will get back to normal.

Dont be stupid! When BTC rebounds this year and reached $20k again, do you really want to ask yourself why did you sell at $7k or lower?

According to my probably inaccurate calculation, this is my 59th major BTC crash. Guess what, not a single one managed to kill BTC. Neither will this one!

Cheers.

this is a natural thing when new investors join cryptocurrency, when they are in a situation like this psycologically they will panic and sell immediately because they just think how to make a profit quickly. whereas bitcoin is a long-term investment. but it all depends on each individual.

Again, "wishful thinking"....

Can anyone give me solid reasons why BTC price should go UP? Because I know so many reasons why it should go down, but not a single one why it should go up...

If you have to ask this question and you have 19 posts in total, I believe crypto s not the best place for you to be.

Good luck with opening your bank account.

Why do you ask for solid reasons?
It does not matter what people here say about.

Analyse the graphic and take your own decision.
If you believe it will go down...sell or wait.
If you believe it will go up...buy.

If you "believed" right...you have earned.
If you "believed" wrong...you have lost.

If you are afraid to lose...do nothing...so easy it is.
Why not coinflip?Sometime it is worth if you are lucky.
Do not forget that with each transaction the buyer hopes it will go up and the seller hopes it will go down.

No matter what you say, these people will still quit when the price falls too hard. They have not been in your shoes, so they panic.

We have all been there before and most of us were Newbies at some stage. Let's just keep calm, and educate the people who has

not gone down this road before. Almost everyone would have panicked, when a commodity loose about 50%+ of it's value in a

couple of weeks.  Wink

As much as I am so constrained to panic, I want to think that there are still solid chances to recover. Believe me, I was once on the brink of giving up until I read some of the posts here explaining technically how things may work but the thing is, nothing is ever certain especially when we bet on cryptocurrencies. We are presumed to take in the nature of the business and the risk that naturally comes along with it, just that sometimes the price drop so suddenly it gives me chills.

Well, to think of it on a lighter note, it also increased so suddenly last year. So there lies the two sides of the coin.

As for me, it is still best to set a goal and not just rely on the sudden fluctuations that give us jitters every now and then either because the price has gone up or has reached down low. Setting a limit is key to sustainability and growth.

Since bitcoin is a digital currency, the fluctuation of price is very common.

So what you're saying is that digital currency is useless in the real world?  For a currency to be useful, it's value has to be predictable - that's why hyper-inflation is so bad.

Well said buddy.By the price fluctuations, many newbie get panic and sell their invested bitcoin.Since bitcoin is a digital currency, the fluctuation of price is very common.Bitcoin is survive from many years,so this small fluctuation will not made a checkmate move to bitcoin.Only the holding people will get huge profit.Since price of bitcoin is reducing, don't get panic and sell the valuable bitcoin at low price.

It won't ever be used in a meaningful way, but the die hards will keep it going.

Pretty much in the same way that people won't accept the moon landings, JFK was murdered and 911 was faked.

Some people just believe the earth is flat.

I agree with you, since the beggining of Bitcoin, many are predicting the end for Bitcoin but until today, it’s alive and kicking. Many people do not like Bitcoin for their own reason, and they are trying everything to bring Bitcoin down but in the end, bitcoin will strive and win. Bitcoin is here for the long run and may one day accepted as a currency anywhere in the world.

I fully understand people who are in panic when they see that price is just goes down, especially if they invested in BTC in last 2-3 months. They do not do not understand that BTC is live from 2009,not 2017 and 20k$ price. No one can say what will happen in the days or months that come and how low price will go,but after such big corrections price usually bounce back.

BTC is a risky investment,it is not some online game which everyone can play.Even in such games there is always winners and losers,so the question is only to hold or not to hold.It is up to you,but try to look this situation in a different light, what would be in next 1-3 or 5 years.

For those impatient and wanting millions overnight I can only say that you are in the wrong boat, you should forget BTC and start play lottery.

NOTHING FUNDAMENTAL HAS CHANGED!!!!

Im just wondering... Those two american credit card companies are now blocking crypto related payments. Paypal is not accepting payments to or from sites like anycoindirect. What if others follow, including smaller banks?

that is the problem with you people, you don't understand bitcoin. you don't know what a decentralized currency means.

all the things you said and all the rest of the X banned bitcoin news, will seem ridiculous to you if you understand a very fundamental aspect of bitcoin: it is peer to peer.
nobody gives a fuck when a centralized credit card company with millions of credit card fraud every year, or a centralized corrupted bank, or the charge back scam central known as PayPal don't accept bitcoin! they don't do it because it is competition which can bring their demise.

It's been a long time since bitcoin was opposed, and both banks and the government think bitcoin will threaten them, but until now bitcoin has survived and is still growing, and we have no reason to believe some false facts The news, why it is not so easy to die, bitcoin's technology is its reason.

What if martians land in from of my house and inside the ship there is Elvis??

Since the day one, there was crypto opposition, especially from banks and money transmitters. Why? Cause it s their fight for survival.

If I were a client of any of these two banks, I would be changing them the moment we speak. Why? Who are they to tell me how will I spend my money? Plus, they only blocked credit cards, debit cards and bank accounts are fine. In essence, they just want to stop you from spending money you do not have on crypto.

Paypal never accepted crypto. So no change there.

All this is nothing bud FUD and you people need to grow some balls and sail through these rough seas. In order to be able to succeed in crypto, one needs to posses a certain level of courage to stay "banks and traditional financial system can SUCK MY DICK" Can you say that?

What, you thought making money s that easy?
