Local Bitcoin does have some genuine buyers and sellers who are rhos to deal with them . Also one can check the feedback comments , total trades , thier total trades which will give a identification about the genuine as of them unless it's a bought account . Yes there do exists scammer too but those will be generally new account holder or making third party transfer so you can easily know it .

Identity is for verifying you are a genuine person,how can you make another person trust you if you are not proven genuine?

Reputed ones other than Unocoin is Coinsecure and Zebpay. Both Zebpay and CS have the best customer support and in terms fees Unocoin in India has the highest fee % being charges which is 1%+ for buy/sell. While Zebpay its 0 and CS its 0.3%.

Hey thankyou for listing out all the exchanges that is available.Its the first time I am hearing about these exchanges. I have always used unocoin and I had heard about coinsecure also. Unocoin is really good. I had my transactions very fast with unocoin. Before signing up in unocoin I tried to  contact coinsecure customer service phone number of bangalore region. I didnt know why they attended the call because when I asked its coinsecure , they immediately cut the call. Then again I tried to call the number but they didnt pick up. So I thought of using unocoin.I have heard about Zebpay also. But all other exchanges are really new for me. Anyway thanks for the list. Before doing next transaction I will check all these exchanges to know which is cheapest.

Please add Belfrics.in to your list which is an International exchange covering many different countries, and they have now added India to their list. They are currently providing bitcoins' buy/sell services at International market rates which may prove beneficial to users to buy from them and sell back at higher prices in Indian exchanges.

With lowest fees and quick withdrawals,  new features added   wins the game fairly easy.

No doubt that zebpay is the best.

I don't know about that BTC thing, but this seems more to me just like PayPal's auto-withdrawal feature.
I already tried to ask them and they said that this is now added in their terms and intended to let their users' money be withdrawn with ease without any hassle. But I still think that this should be stopped.

I have only used Localbitcoins.com site for selling my coins for fiat currency as selling in this we dont need to give the identity proof and sell the coins and i am receiving my payments directly in my bank without problem. transacting in other exchanges are asking identity card after that only we can transact in the exchange.

I really doubt zebpay will be doing that auto payment without your consent. Did you try and called them up and asked the reason for it because if this happens tomorrow they will sell you btc as well which you may have in their wallet without your consent? 

That is a Major problem, as I never withdraw unless there are no shorting opportunities...

Yes, I didn't request any withdrawal to be processed, but it got processed automatically and the funds got transferred without my consent.
I don't feel bad because the amount was not that big, but for big players, this might be a problem if they didn't knew this before and got their funds auto-withdrawn.
