First rule of Bitcoin: you don't talk about how many bitcoins you have.

Is it? I thought first rule of Bitcoin if you dont give your private key to noone.

OK.

First rule: You don't give your private key to anyone.
Second rule: You don't talk about how many bitcoins you have.

Third: hodl.

Wouldn't hodl come first? Because if you ain't hodling you don't have any privat key to care about and no amount to not brag about.

1. This is old news. Not sure why you are reposting.
2. Bitstamp said they will reimburse all lost coins, including but not limited to you.

its the news of this month and i did not see this news posted here so i just did no offense Cheesy

I doubt they were making anywhere near the 19k BTC to cover the loss.
Its not a big problem there are other exchanges and more will be coming up. Unlike Gox which at some point held 80% of al the trades, Bitstamp was another exchange.

I think we must separate theft in bitcoin values and in dollar values.
Theft in bitcoins in 2010 and in 2014 are two big differences...

but we talk about when it was stolen its the new of this month so i calculated price in dollers of the date when the theft was made

Bitcoin theft in 2009 and in 2015 are exactly the same.
Don't think so, bitcoin in 2009 was just a toy with zero value, and btc owners didn't thought about protection their toys

Bull.

Bitcoin theft is bitcoin theft.
Dollar theft is dollar theft.
Litecoin theft is litecoin theft.

Bitcoin theft in 2009 and in 2015 are exactly the same.
Bitcoins move from one rightful owner to a thief.

People just think it is different because many of them are in this game to get rich quick in dollar terms.

It's not the biggest robbery.
There were much more coins stolen in the past.
The problem is that you count bitcoins in dollars
Yeah early days a lot more units of BTC must have been stolen..! just that they didnt have such value back then.!

I am not so sure this is the biggest bitcoin robbery in terms BTC number, I think the number is much higher than this if I remember correctly. But in terms of $ count, it might be.

First rule of Bitcoin: you don't talk about how many bitcoins you have.

Your rule I guess, stop claiming shit for the whole community....
Now tell me, how many coins do you have? Grin
