Bitcoin family did a very exciting life with bitcoin. Their story is very interesting and encouraging but too risky. They sold everything they have to exchange in bitcoin with out fear and hesitation. They are so lucky because bitcoin attracted a lot of people to invest and believe  that's why the demand increasing which makes it valuable and Bitcoin family benefited from it. I hope I can have also such kind of courage to invest in crypto with out fear despite of risk.

Nice. Their example proves that Bitcoin is the key to financial freedom and independence.
P.s. I thought Bitcoin family bought Bitcoin at $20k. Luckily, this is the story with good ending.

What if they sold all their properties for bitcoin at $20,000 the all time high in 2017, do you think we would have read or heard of this bitcoin family? No body talked about this.
Can they patiently wait for 3 years (I.e 2020) for market recovery? How can they survive if it happened to be so because nothing is left to sustain them, just an instance though.

If you read a post from DdmrDdmr then it will be clearer to you that this is not about someone who is an inexperienced beginner, but about someone experienced who obviously knew how to assess the moment and do what he did. I believe he would never do that at $20 000 per 1 BTC, but that's why he invested everything in BTC at a price between $4000- $6000, which still gives him an advantage today, and will probably be like that in the long run.

After all, the idea was not to spend the purchased BTC (at least not most), but to try to promote Bitcoin and make a living from it.

"Taihuttu trades every day. He’s not devoted to Bitcoin alone, but it still makes up around 65% of his holdings. He also consistently holds Ethereum and Litecoin, and recently invested in DOT, the cryptocurrency of the Polkadot blockchain. Others include COTI, CTSI, EGLD, BEAM, LEND, COV, and KAI. "
Some time having relationship with other cryptocurrencies does not mean you are not part of Bitcoin family, it is good to try others to know bitcoin is a profitable family. I guess to be more devoted to bitcoin is more important than Ethereum and litecoin which they can delay your profit and energy in the areas of investment.

I have read it before and honestly I would have done the same thing if I also have something like that good thing that his family supports his idea.
Not everyone is blessed to have such family there are others who would disagree to such idea and convince you to continue on what you are doing (working) without even knowing how much you really want to have freedom and earn on your own.

I will never advice any body neither family nor individual to take this kind of risk,  because we don't know what the future holds for us, we only accepting the fact that bitcoin had gained a high stability in volume and volatility so selling it won't take us second in doing, but that shouldn't let us become fool to the extent of selling properties for bitcoin, congratulations to them because they are such a  lucky family.

He’d dabbled in crypto as far back as 2013, but in 2017 he suggested to his wife, Romaine that they sell everything, invest it in Bitcoin, and travel—embracing a new, anti-materialistic way of life.

Not that i wanted to bash them. But I don't like how they sell off all their properties just to buy bitcoin. As we know, volatility is always there and to know that they are only relying on his bitcoin alone without other source of income.

Why not use some profit from it to build a home and a business for passive income aside from bitcoin only? Travelling around the world is so tiring, even if he is successful and surviving, we cant really say what will be future  for both bitcoin and for  their family.
I agree with you, if they want to invest in Bitcoin they shouldn't sell all their property to buy Bitcoin, because I think this is a very big risk to do, moreover they only rely on Bitcoin as their main source of income, I think this is an idea which is very crazy and doesn't inspire everyone.
Yes, they also have to think about setting up another business because that way they can go around the world and buy other necessities, without having to use the Bitcoin they invested because if they only rely on Bitcoin as the main source, then their investment with Bitcoin will be completely exhausted.

A very positive article on how you can change your life. It's a good thing they didn't buy Bitcoin for $ 20,000 Grin

The Bitcoin Family: Still on the Road—After Three Years!

What a very inspirational family despite of them buying BTC on mid-ranged price. Putting their entire trust to Bitcoin when they sold everything must felt living in hell for BTC price going up and down. I cant imagine that to my family putting everything into Bitcoin. They must be really bless to be able to travel, trade and enjoy despite the pandemic on-going right now. They also put a good image on Bitcoin as they share this around the world. I wonder if he used referral links to whomever Mr. Taihuttu invites. He must have not only earned from trading but from referrals if he did. Imagine if he manage to referrer a trader before and have not started with crypto-trading yet. His referral rewards should already cover their daily needs.

It was a great surprise to me that bitcoin is a such a great family where people can impact how to make a right choice in the areas of investment. Sometimes holding some coins long for market to change hand, can also make someone to loose some profit for such long coin holding.
Bitcoin family is a good family where rules and regulations are abide in the forum. I love this family because all my coins I have been holding over a year now, just put a smile on my face with a good profit I just received now.

Its so nice to have a bitcoin and use it with your family, I want it that too but I don't know if my kids use it too. But I teach them what is bitcoin and its purpose. And then let see if they hold it.
I think I watch this documentary with my kids, right?
I search it.
they dont use bitcoin but they hold it . if they only wana use btc then they should only bought small portions  but if you want is to buy and use btc with your fam then go on and id say that its more better than just plain holding it because theres only few people that use thier btc actively .

you can teach your fam about btc and its also a good idea if you share this story with them for them to get inspired . goodluck buddy

The merit (no pun intended) is not only in being bold to do that he (/they) did, but to manage to capitalize around the event, to the point that he’s got a who’s set of business lines associated to the Bitcoin Family brand.

Of course, the above is not just down to boldness or luck, but to the knowledge that Didi Taihuttu had on cryptocurrencies. Apparently, he started mining BTC in 2010 (probably sold most early) and has a strong technological background, which probably goes a long way, and is a personal fundamental asset to his achievement.

Didi Taihuttu's story really inspired me, because rarely did people dare to do what Didi Taihuttu had done. Everyone is free to do
whatever they think is right as long as they don't violate the law, and what the Taihuttu family has done is truly extraordinary.
Taihuttu family is indeed a believer cryptocurrency, because it's not just investing in Bitcoin, but investing in several altcoins.
Indeed for some people the actions of the Taihuttu family are considered very risky by risking everything for cryptocurrency.
Hopefully the Bitcoin family will end well, because I am always happy to see people who are successful because of investing in crypto.

Knowing that his investments were doing good means that anyone who have also invested at the time he has invested is also doing good today. He got the balls to do it and this story has made a noise but after witnessing the success of the decision he/they made, a lot of opportunities came in to him. This isn't just the opportunity that he took profit from investing earlier and going fully crypto but his affiliation has increased and gave him reputation that he deserves. IIRC, there were projects that hired him as advisor or consultant.

Is this the family that sells everything and live on a cave ? The news was old so I forget thier faces but I think they aren't known as a bitcoin family . I also check the article and never see a write up that they have lived on the cave . The family on the news that ive read could be different but both families are incredible because they trusted bitcoin for thier future . I have searched the first family that I mention  before but I havent see any updates from them , I hope they are still okay and still hodling

they are the real bitcoin adaptor. they live all-in with bitcoin.
they hodl AND spend bitcoin regularly, they show us what we should do with bitcoin. not just hodl only.

It seems their beliefs are too great. A family meeting went on for many days and it was decided to go all out for Bitcoin. They went all out early and reaped results, but what about their children. They are more mature and come of school age. Their parents need to work and raise them as normal families rather than roaming the streets.

Congrats for their courage, but it isn't Bitcoin alone that sustained their lifestyle isn't it? They have a whole marketing suite set up - blog, youtube channel, social media - and digital products to sell.
We should thank them for doing their part and spreading the word about Bitcoin.  Cool
