Selling it all to invest in the crypto market was a risky decision, fortunately they didn't buy bitcoin for $ 20,000.
If I were to be in their shoes, I wouldn't be taking that risk. Just one wrong decision, they won't have a chance to fix it.

Well he knows the risk and he take it together with his family. That's why people is very different as far as their risk aversion, there is no difference but us gamblers, traders and investors. But you can't say that he did make a wrong decision. Just look at the past history of this community, you can see pages of regrets specially those early bag holders because they didn't know the future of bitcoin. What if the price goes to $20k or even higher in the next coming years?
No one can be sure of the future of bitcoin, chances are it will go to the moon or it will become a pile of trash.
If he only invested a portion of his family money in bitcoin then that is absolutely correct, but investing all in bitcoin is too risky.

I remember this guy, way back a few years ago. This guy featured on a video of a news company. I saw it on youtube before as I remember.
A lot of people think that this guy already broke after the dump last year and this year when we fall below $5,000.
This guy is a literally a risk taker, I'm very glad he really devoted to it and the family also supporting him. I hope he will not get rekt for holding some random altcoins.

This has been a very well-known story for several years now, and I still remember that many reacted very skeptically when this news appeared in the media. Although everyone's desire for life decisions should be respected, it also seemed a bit risky to me personally that the family sold literally everything they had and bought BTC.
Skeptical at first indeed coz the risk they took was very unusual. Imagine investing everything for bitcoin just because you think it will boom someday and it did! now they are the very historic Family related to bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. Amazing story to tell everyone.

However, the risk paid off because the family traveled to as many as 40 countries around the world, and since they invested in BTC at a price between $4000- $6000, even at today's prices, they made about 100% profit.
Not just 100% profit, it's way way more! Millions!

In this case, we can definitely say that Bitcoin has really changed someone's life - but what I don't like is the mention of all those altcoins that I personally have never heard of, and we all know how such projects end.
Yup, also a disclaimer, it does not mean that it worked to them and things will work the same to you. Not encouraging anyone to risk it all to bitcoin, the time they risked everything was the perfect time.

I have seen a documentary about them long ago. I think it was shown in a television channel so the family was successfully got the attention of the crypto space. When I saw the documentary for the first time, it seemed to me a very risky decision but deep down I know the risk will pay off. Glad to see that they are still thriving.

I just did not know that they have invested in other crytocurrencies as well besides bitcoin.
Ive seen this one too which I can say that this is really a very risky move for a family to consider out on going all in with bitcoin by converting all of their possession or belongings on it but well it did really paid of and I do consider it lucky even though we know that Bitcoin does have the potential but everything isn't really assured yet to happen.

For them to consider other coins as well then they might have considerations when they do look that they can also potentially earn if  they do decide with alts too which is indeed possible
but only applicable into few projects.

For sure they are still on their journey now and cherishing all of the profits that they had made.

The Bitcoin Family: Still on the Road—After Three Years!
https://decrypt.co/43215/the-bitcoin-family-still-on-the-road-after-three-years

"Taihuttu trades every day. He’s not devoted to Bitcoin alone, but it still makes up around 65% of his holdings. He also consistently holds Ethereum and Litecoin, and recently invested in DOT, the cryptocurrency of the Polkadot blockchain. Others include COTI, CTSI, EGLD, BEAM, LEND, COV, and KAI. "
Clearly the multimillionaire thing did not work out, but since they had quite a lot of money and doubled it (not to mention the stuff they get due to their promotion work and lifestyle), it worked out for them. I do not approve of their initial decision to sell everything for BTC, though, given that they have three children (they're responsible for the well-being of the kids and it was too risky in this respect). I'm also not sure if the kids are fine with travelling for three years straight. How are they getting their education? Are they socializing with their peers? Can they even have friends and build relationships living like this? So even this story is not necessarily a success story to me. If they were just two adults, I'd be totally fine with that, but they have kids, and it should be taken into account.

Having 5 people traveling around the world isn't cheap at all, they don't survive only from his holding, they used to promote bitcoin to each place the go, and with some meetings, they get extra revenue. They go sharing their knowledge about cryptos and that is a heroic labor.

The sad part is they cant come to Latin America, that will be like putting their lives in risk, here if people know you are holding a nice amount of money then you become a target, so, better for them to stay away from countries like Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, etc.

No one will go in such a way taking big risk from the comfort living zone. The prediction and the reality of the present market differs, however his reach for bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies never fades away. In his journey for Bitcoin on the roads have made him visible to the world. Moreover he has succeeded in life making his own brand, "The Bitcoin Family". Surely the increasing adoption level of cryptocurrency will help him benefit through his brand.

Unfortunately though, this is only one of the pretty short list of successful stories of daily trading and making sacrifices for a potentially successful future. Most stories end quite bad as not all of us take the best decisions..

But of course, props to the family for having the guts to sell everything and get into BTC. I would personally not be able to do this, as it could've gone wrong very easily. Wouldn't want to turn a hope for millions into an unfortunate situation of homelessness and poverty - especially when my family is at stake.

It's nice to have bitcoin as family, Bitcoin is been popular since the year 2015, many people in society has tasted the transaction Bitcoin does and it's okay to them and they have to adopt it as a source of living.

From my view a family that accepts Bitcoin and turn it into a family business has made a proper research of crypto currency especially Bitcoin as one of the business that can brings finance as Fiat brings into family.

Actually the family, they has studies the advantages and disadvantages of bitcoin before adventuring into it without minding the lost involved.

I use these as illustration, many people in Bitcointalk community come from different countries but keep on discussing cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin in order to know the benefits of it which many people has scale through because of bitcoin, right now we discussed about Bitcoin in forum as a family.
Today Bitcoin has brought changes in human life.
