Bitconnect - the father of all scams, lol
For a long time, people were warning about this Ponzi scheme you should have taken out all your funds and invested in some other coins.
Luckily I didn't invest any money on this site and there are rumours that these guys are selling all their bitcoins for cash but not sure whether it is correct or not. I read in one of the telegram channels.
For me, the site is not opening. It got stuck at "Checking your browser before accessing bitconnect.co."
. I heard about BitConnect , but they are collecting cash from the those joining with them. The higher you invest to the bitconnect , the higher the Commission or interest or the profit that they Will give. When you compare about Bitcoin mining it is much better than that site. There is no guaranttees for your money to withdraw them just in case you Will back out. Almost convince but must to think thrice. Even though they are not the scam but why do you want to invest a money, which is running on a basis of a pyramid scheme?
There are so many good altcoins are available to consider for your investment so I don't want to take a risk by knowing that they do not have any working model so it is better to avoid these kinds of businesses.
In the end people just want to have fast money, I believe they offer pretty good amount of payout if you invest good money there, as long as their token raise, they can pay you guys but unfortunately their lending system is really a ponzi scheme which they need to close it down and their token also fell. This is why they can't pay anyone who invest on their lending system, but I heard they still open their trading, wondering if any of them still trading there

This is why I don't invest into a hype platform or coin just like bitconnect and now another name bitconnectX. People don't learn from what happened from the past. Don't be too greedy, holding is better than this. by the way they weren't profitable at all even if you "invested" since day 1 , all people without referrals lost money
when bitconnect started bitcoin price was around 1500-2000$ , and they only take bitcoin and lock up your "loans "
so people who invested 1 btc since day 1 maybe they made 300% (they made less but let's assume that ) , but at the end of the day they made 6000$ which is like half a bitcoin now
so holding was even better than the " too good to be true site "
