The internet is merely a tool that facilitates the completion of a task. What used to be a time-consuming task of writing on paper is now simple to type.

If the situation doesn't allow us to leave, then the internet will definitely be the solution ...

Also we cannot discard the pandemic for what it is happening, many of my family members have probably never made a purchase online before and they preferred to go to the stores arguing that it was way better to take an actual look at the product you wanted to buy before you did, and they had a point but with the advent of the pandemic they could not do this and now they understand the practicality of making purchases online and now that is their preferred method to buy everything they need. it all depends on the situation and circumstances,

The way things were done in the past have changed from what it is. In the area of buying and sell especially, you can stay in your house and do all your shopping all because of the availability of the internet. Before this time, the internet was majorly used for sending of email and other short and non elaborate internet activities but all that has changed to real marketing online.
This has changed the economic system in no small extent that people prefer not to go to the market physically but go stay back home and in there comfort do the buying and selling.

Like they say, technology saves time and effort. The internet has only made things easier for us, and I wouldn't say that is being lazy. Anyone who is lazy is always going to be lazy, whether there is internet or no internet. Someone who is not lazy is always going to use the extra time to get to do other activities that they have to do. For example, let's say that you go to work and work 9 to 5, and then you have to go to the market, cook food, and also wash clothes by 6pm.This has changed the economic system in no small extent that people prefer not to go to the market physically but go stay back home and in there comfort do the buying and selling.

Instead of going to the market and wasting your whole time buying foodstuffs or making grocery shopping, you can just do all that online and have it delivered to your house. While that's being done, you can use that time to do your laundry, and by the time you're done with laundry your order online has arrived and you just go straight into cooking. By doing that you have saved time for yourself. So the internet doesn't make you lazy, it's just saving your time and effort.

It is all about comfort and security and safety these days. Time is Money .. they say, so people are pushing themselves to the edge to make more money and they need to save some time to do that. Why should you drive to a Mall to buy groceries every week, if you can get it delivered.
People can get into accidents or they might even be robbed... so why not pick a bunch of stuff from a online catalog and then have it delivered to the safety of your home. Look at some of the streamers (Twitch) going at it for hours and even ordering food whilst they are online... (Everyone want to be rich.... as if that is the most important thing in the world.... being healthy is worth a lot more)

But in others not, when your lifestyle is active like shopping, going to the gym, hairdressing and other activities, you use the internet as your source of work and you don't get lazy.

I believe that someone who also spends a lot of time on the internet doing important/useful good work without enough physical activity can't be considered lazy. Useful good works = works that solve important problems or work that are useful or potentially useful to people/society.
If you could discuss a problem and get people to provide useful/safe solutions to the problem, and you get a scoring system to score participants based on list of good rules/standards that must be followed... If you have participates that aren't breaking the rules while providing useful solutions to the problem, the participants are doing useful things on the internet, hence don't qualify being called lazy as frequent/less-mobile internet users... compare to spending alot of time on the internet solving problems while breaking the good rules or not solving atall to avoid breaking the rules.
Nevertheless, people who spend alot of time on the internet without enough physical movements, need to have occasional breaks daily to do some physical work... Could be house choir or other work that involves exercising the body while solving problems around us.

But technological advances are supposed
to make our lives more effective and efficient. We must care about our own health, although now we can buy anything online. It's not that we don't
exercise at all, there are many ways we can exercise at home to keep our bodies healthy.

For example, my bank removes need of papers for availing services from them and I am able to availability of corona vaccine in my town and everything. But, criticizing easy availability of internet for other human errors, may not be a right thing to do.

This use for internet or online services have increased in this pandemic time when population is locked in thie homes due to vast spread of virus.When you can items delivered at your doorstep why waste your time, efforts and money in travelling and shopping.Actually most people tend to save time and utilise it for some other useful purpose which is more important.So they can manage two things at same time.Technology always comes up with pros and cons but it is totally on ourselves how we perceive it and make use of it.We are dependent on internet these days and future digitalization is completely based on internet usage and you can't blame technology for it. With the advent of modern technology the accustomed way of living we have been since we were young come into a fast phase of changes wherein it seems to be more likely things becomes digital in a sense that things can be already done with a snap of a finger. The existence of internet is not duly making us lazy it is just that our lifestyle becomes dependent on what we think can make things work fast and that is why we ought to just make things that way. The society is adapting into the modern changes affecting how things used to be done in the past. Maybe it is because of modernization and other factors related and can affect the situation.

Everybody wants an easy life and if one can afford such there is nothing stopping. The internet gave room for a lot of opportunities like job Availability and connectivity with people. As the world is revolving we are also being socialized and do this with technology availability.
technology can indeed provide convenience and make life more comfortable. do not forget to control yourself, relying too much on technology is also not good, can be trapped in laziness.btw, technology does change a lot of things. not only about lifestyle, but also about the economy and jobs. now many people can work from home, and clients come from all over the world, now working does not have to come to the office. just like shopping, we can do it from home and only by using a cell phone.
we must adapt to these changes, take what is useful, and as best as possible avoid its negative effects.

There is a saying "Laziness is the engine of progress!" Probably there is a part of the truth in it - lead almost all technologies in the end SIMPLIFIED human life. From the wheel, which simplified a huge number of processes, to computers, which extremely simplified calculations at first and then automate a huge number of processes that we could not even dream of! So, yes, laziness is the engine of progress! 
I do like the quote but I think that we didn't become lazy over the years, more like we need more so I would propose that the best quote for this one is that "Necessity is the mother of invention". It's a matter of perspective, we needed to travel faster so we invented the wheel, we need to calculate in inhuman pace so we invented computer.

If laze is also meant in the sense that people move less, then it is obviously true! There are health reports that people today more often got trouble with their joints like hips and knees or their spine because they don't move enough. All the work is happening in the office and they don't move their bodies sufficiently. Everybody knows these days where your knees are stiff after sitting 9 hours at your desk.

I don't think is, for some they thought of it as form of laziness but for some or majority of it is taking it as means of keeping them safe specially now that we are battling an unseen enemies- the virus, so people tend to do those online shopping and marketing instead of going out into the mall and market physically, and they find it more convenient and less hassle although we still need to be very careful in choosing what and where to buy to avoid being scammed.

Technology is expanding and it is meant to make human life easier. I mean "time" is essentially the most precious thing in life and all the technology is built around to save our time.This has changed the economic system in no small extent that people prefer not to go to the market physically but go stay back home and in there comfort do the buying and selling.
I don't think there is any problem with shopping online because it saves your time and energy and it also creates a more competitive market because you don't have to bargain at a local store and there is no discrepancy in prices. It hurts to buy the same product for a higher price just because someone else was able to bargain better than me

Internet doesn't make people lazy, it just make everything a lot more convenient, and of course more efficient. We don't need to do many efforts again to sell or buy things, we can do it in one click all thanks to the internet. In fact, it's good too for the economic, we can do anything from anywhere with internet, and it will erase the distance problem, and many other problem that will make people prevent buying. It becomes a lot easier, and of course the supply and demand chain will rise even more, people can make money easily with internet, and can spend money easily too thanks to the internet. Sure, internet really affects the economic, in good way, although there might be bad effect as well such as scams and others.

Internet doesn't make us lazy, it depends on whether we're gonna rely on it totally and end up as a lazy person. Not all of the things we do in life could be done by the internet, internet just helps us in some works especially if it is gonna take more time and you have something to do, like buying a food, asking for some services at home etc.
As we develop our community, we need revolution as well in technology to sustain what we need in our everyday living, if you know what I mean.

You can start websites, build stores, read stuff and learn stuff for free in endless amounts, you can trade while analyzing markets. There is a lot you could do that keeps you from being lazy actually.
