Internet doesn't make us lazy, it depends on whether we're gonna rely on it totally and end up as a lazy person. Not all of the things we do in life could be done by the internet, internet just helps us in some works especially if it is gonna take more time and you have something to do, like buying a food, asking for some services at home etc.

As we develop our community, we need revolution as well in technology to sustain what we need in our everyday living, if you know what I mean.

There is a saying "Laziness is the engine of progress!" Probably there is a part of the truth in it - lead almost all technologies in the end SIMPLIFIED human life. From the wheel, which simplified a huge number of processes, to computers, which extremely simplified calculations at first and then automate a huge number of processes that we could not even dream of! So, yes, laziness is the engine of progress! Smiley
I do like the quote but I think that we didn't become lazy over the years, more like we need more so I would propose that the best quote for this one is that "Necessity is the mother of invention". It's a matter of perspective, we needed to travel faster so we invented the wheel, we need to calculate in inhuman pace so we invented computer.

Yes, but that's just an avoidable side effect. Shopping online helps you save money instead of going to a physical store in person. I once learned that there are tricks that can make customers shop for more items (including unnecessary items) when they come to a physical store.

From the seller's point of view, it is very clear that E-commerce increases competitiveness which of course is not a place for slackers. You can find out some things from your competitors just visiting their online store.
I first heard that online shopping helps us save more while the fact that I am seeing for everyone around is the opposite, we are mostly shopping more with the effect of the internet and sellers are also getting stronger looking for an opportunity to gain a presence in the marketplace. Buying directly at the stores would be a hassle during the shipping process and having to regularly synthesize everything needed to buy in one purchase, online simplifies shipping process, a full range of products, shopping will take place more than a real store
The process of buying online is without a doubt faster and most likely exactly what you want is on stock unlike what happens in a a real store but we cannot say that the delivery is faster, when you buy a product in a real store even if it takes you hours to find what you want you at least get the product immediately while when you buy online at best you get the product the next day and you have to always be on watch as you do not want to miss your delivery.

On the one hand, laziness is indeed the engine of progress, but on the other hand, in the case of online commerce, we can still talk about reducing costs as a huge incentive for both sellers and buyers, because if there is an opportunity to save money, then in most cases it can well overcome laziness Wink The advent of the Internet and its subsequent development, of course, did not and will not destroy offline trading, but it allows you to take a significant market share due to the combination of convenience and the opportunity to save money for the buyer, and not laziness can play a major role.

This example is rather an "exception to the rule", or even a necessary measure. It's just that there are other options for some of them to buy what they need, while others do not sell, well, or at least they are less convenient. Although in the very concept of online commerce, in addition to economic benefits (by reducing overhead costs for maintaining retail space, staff, warehouses, logistics, etc.), there is also a bit of "laziness" - too lazy to go to the store, let me be brought, I'll see bye tv Smiley
And it turns out that almost all "lazy" technologies, in fact, are convenient, save time and effort.

The way things were done in the past have changed from what it is. In the area of buying and sell especially, you can stay in your house and do all your shopping all because of the availability of the internet. Before this time, the internet was majorly used for sending of email and other short and non elaborate internet activities but all that has changed to real marketing online.
This has changed the economic system in no small extent that people prefer not to go to the market physically but go stay back home and in there comfort do the buying and selling.

Is the internet making people lazy or what do you think?

I think this depends for the type of person. Some people with definitely become more lazy and do everything from home. But for others the weekly walk to the supermarket or other shops is mandatory. If I look at my grand mother, she knows all the employees there by name. For her it is not only about buying but also about communicating with people there. Even on the way she can look what the neighbors are doing. Probably a lot of elderly people feel similar about going shoping in person.

Indeed, with the advent of the internet, it makes everything easier, so it is synonymous with laziness. but actually according to our use of the internet. should be used to improve our performance with this convenience in trading

This is new trend, we can avoid it. I think internet has been helped us to make our live easier. We can cut our expenses when you want to buy an item, if you compare it to the previous trend where when you want to buy something you have to come directly to the store that has the item you want, but with an online shop you can see and choose the item you want without have to incur any costs. Also, internet has been helped us to simplify what you want, suppose you have the intention to become a trader and you do not have land to become a shop, but with an online shop you don't need to have a land, most importantly you are ready to trade and you are ready to start.

We cannot say the internet is making one lazy if you talked about that what technology as a whole. For you having a washing machine, dishwashers and various electronics just for your comfort and easy way of life are we going to call all this Lazy. The Internet makes commercial business and all way easier for both sellers and traders. Though there are still some things you will prefer to see in the physical market if you don't want to regret your actions.
Technology does not make people lazy it just allows them to free more time and do what they want with it, if a person is already lazy then they will do nothing but for the ones that like to do stuff in their lives then technology is going to save them time and they will become more productive, think about how difficult it was to create a fire before and now you can just turn your stove and it takes you only one second to do it, this has allowed the time that you needed before to use to create a fire to be used in something more useful and that is a good thing.

Only buy and selling in internet i don't think it can be considered a lazy thing. Because internet can make us buy thing from far away. And until now i still believe people if the store is near, they will buy at store. In my country, store still have a lot of customer. Maybe who order online is who rich and too busy to do that. That is why i am not really agree if buying and selling online can make people to be lazy.

The application of the internet to business and goods exchange has been improved more and more and shortened the time for work. Instead of doing everything manually, we can do more transactions. That also means saving you time and money. If you say internet business is lazy, then you are probably wrong. I have seen many people get rich by doing business on social networking sites.

In addition, doing business on the internet also helps create jobs for other groups of people. for example advertisers, delivery staff, packaging staff ...

I think the internet has changed people's habits in economic activities and they benefit people.
Internet applications make people lazy is a correct observation, but overall, the Internet is more beneficial.
The Internet helps us connect the world, change the form of entertainment, work and shopping. We have more tech businesses and they help people. During this pandemic, we used the Internet effectively. Without the Internet, our lives can be extremely busy doing things the traditional way.

Is the internet making people lazy or what do you think?
Do you have any statistics related to obesity or heart disease or high pressures kind of things due to being lazy for the younger generation of people who are more into internet usage? If any study is indicating like that then we can start worrying about that otherwise I do see internet is helping people to shop with the comfort of staying within home. They will save time and money required to reach shopping mall and spending long hours to pay bills etc.

This way I guess internet is helping to build economy of a country. I agree there are lots of changes had happened with people due to internet which might have both pros and cons as well. But, we cannot ignore the importance of having high speed internet and its facility to shop from home during the times of pandemic.

It depends on the person and depends on how are you going to use the internet, for me the internet and technology make things easy for us, it is a good benefit for us, I don't think why some people think a negative thing about it though we can clearly see how it beneficial for us. It is not because we are just sitting at our home and just clicking and clicking on the keyboard or clicking our phone, it doesn't mean that we are lazy, it just makes our life easier, it is also not an easy thing because you will spend a lot of time for it.

I do not think the internet is making people lazy.  The internet brings lot of innovations.  With it, we can work from home, order from home, plan from home and during the pandemic it connects people from home.  It maximizes the time for everyone thus doing more things than being idle.  Just for example, working from home avoids being idle during transportation.  So time consumed in transportation can be used to do other things.  And I honestly believe that there is no lazy people, it is just a matter of doing what is his interest so it is subjective.

The internet has made almost everything in the world easier technology has improved the world a lot. Entertainment and social engagement have emerged as the main attractions of the internet to users social media like facebook and twitter are booming many are using the internet just to play games messaging apps are becoming popular because people are now more interested in connecting with each other in the virtual world. People enjoy watching videos on youtube or spreading self-made videos on tickets online shopping on the internet has changed a lot.
The reason why social media became more popular than anything else is the fact that it is free, and those companies collect your data and sell it while you are being the product. Obviously this has been said a million times but other companies are doing fine as well. Look at Amazon, it is a company that both sells something themselves and they also manage to handle others sales as well and it is not a free use thing, it is a market and they became the biggest one as well.

So long story short we are talking about something that is arguable and yet even we say that social media became huge, that is not only because people can talk with each other and interact with people all around the world, but it is also because it is free. Make instagram $99 to start an account and you will see how tiny it would have been and never would became this big so it is the free charge that became big there.

So anyway, I applied as a merit source :)
Is the internet making people lazy or what do you think?
No. Those who wish to be lazy will always be lazy and those who want to be active will be active no matter what happens outside.

Technology helps mankind, that is the important part. However the statement applies more to the 1st and 2nd world countries. In many less developed nations they are still struggling to get a proper working 4G network let alone go with ordering things online. Though E-commerce sites are targeting them and trying to get things improved, progress is slow.

Now to get groceries, one who is diligent will skim through markets to see which one is least costly and by default the online ones will be more costly after their promotional periods run out. So things will change outside and people will also change. You can help it if your country brings in a lockdown on cities and you have to keep yourself indoors.

Also I dont see how this improved crypto acceptance at all. Not a single country has been lenient about allowing crypto neither are they talking steps to allow users to spend it, rather they are talking about persecuting those who already use it.
