those attempts can't stop a force that has already gained momentum. It only signals that the Bitcoin movement is going down the right path of history.

They want to have control of how people spend and transact but with Bitcoin and other cryptos, they are powerless, that's why they are not happy.

Bitcoin and cryptocurrency business is a worldwide business that cannot be controlled by some country or authority. This business is free from all the limits of borders or countries. This business has great potential & momentum in it. Due to blockchain technology, people have great trust in bitcoin. people of all ages from the whole world are joining ignoring, it is legal or illegal.

while in some countries that declared bitcoin or cryptocurrencies are illegal yet only few that still seek to accumulate while majority is declining meaning at any point adoption will be harder on those places.
this also add to why crypto is still on process of advertising because of those banning.

so Even though the businesses worldwide is indeed inside crypto yet there are many places that denies these facts.
so this will take long time before reflecting in reality .

it seems that it will be difficult to control bitcoin because the character it has is that it cannot be controlled and moves because of the mechanism that occurs due to existing trade. any ban that anyone does will not make bitcoin will fade and disappear.

You are right that bitcoin is a global business that cannot be controlled by countries, institutions or individuals. people trust bitcoin too much because it is able to provide the convenience it has and which will clearly provide benefits.
many individuals and countries have done and acknowledged the existence of bitcoin which indicates that bitcoin will continue to grow.

I agree that these cryptocurrency bans are going to be temporary. I'm thinking like this even about the China's ban on them too. I know that China is one of the countries that are really strict about cryptocurrencies. But they still weren't able to impose a permanent ban on them. And this also shouldn't be a permanent one I believe. There are so many investors there and I assume that the government wouldn't like to be deprived of a big opportunity for good. They would impose a tax on them and start letting people trade again.

I also believe the same thing. Any country that still bans crypto in their country is temporary. The ban will be removed and says it must be removed at any time. There are certain reasons, like if they didn't take action to adopt bitcoin now, then they would be at the bottom of the pile. The world is adopting bitcoin regularly. And when a country adopts it, the news goes viral in an instant. Its untouchable price means users can't buy a whole bitcoin. Later, buying a whole bitcoin will be a dream for millionaires too. If these things happen, they think they will understand why the bitcoin ban has to be removed. So the result is that these bans are temporary. That's it.

I guess most of you have noticed the rise in the number of banks and Financial commissions and Governments in different countries announcing bans on crypto purchases using banks, crypto exchanges, and in some case Bitcoin mining crackdowns. From UK to Japan, Canada (Ontario) to China, but one thing for sure is all those attempts can't stop a force that has already gained momentum. It only signals that the Bitcoin movement is going down the right path of history.

They want to have control of how people spend and transact but with Bitcoin and other cryptos, they are powerless, that's why they are not happy.
This is the kind of problem we are having these days, when there is a change, people wouldn’t want to adapt to that change at first. You will see companies that feels like the new change is going to put them out of business, fighting against the change instead of them to up their game, adapt to the change and start following what’s trending, rather they choose to suppress the change which is very bad. But as time goes on you’re going to see that the change will still occur and all those people that never wanted to adapt will be the ones that will be ending up as the losers.

Those banks will end up losing customers, these crypto bans will definitely be temporary, they have to accept the fact that crypto will be everywhere in the next 5 years, although, I don't see cryptocurrency to dominate fiat nor make people rely more onto crypto, fiat will still be dominant but cryptocurrency will be beneficial to everyone, banks will have to remove these bans and integrate cryptocurrency and give the customers what they want.
The number of customers will not be lost by such bans because of the fact that when it comes to buying and selling crypto, not a single bit of confidential information is revealed, almost just a regular money transfer method, the bank can investigate the origin of such transactions but such action is not their idea, except in cases of too obvious disclosure of crypto, otherwise the bank will still handle it as usual. The ban is just stating their position on the side of the country and the government but they are not stupid to drop the source of profits from crypto, too many potential and wealthy customers here.

Most countries don't even understand what bitcoin is before they impose a ban on it. I remember crypto was banned in India and highly criticized by the government only to be reversed later because they might have learned that BTC isn't as bad as they might be thinking about it.

With time the government also understands that it is practically impossible to ban the use of cryptocurrency. It's similar to banning gambling, people will find some ways of doing it somehow.

The bans put on bitcoin are only proof of frustration from the government because they can't stop it and they know it very well.

IMO governments fully knows BTC that's why they are going hard against crypto then ever before. The main point is can government fully ban it? The answer is governments have no control to ban decentralized crypto. They can only restrict its centralized use such as on exchanges. I don't know what happens in future but crypto financial system is not gonna be accepted by governments, at least in near future.
These are just my two satoshis.

All these bans are temporary, we are still early and there are still a lot of things that might happen in the future, I am still hoping that cryptocurrency will be legalized in all countries because if that would happen for sure all of the people in this world who explore technology will explore cryptocurrency as well and that will really makes the price pump.
prohibitions for bitcoin have existed for a long time but the fact is that bitcoin is still standing and growing today, let's see if China is consistent with the ban it issued, or when the government changes, mining will exist even if it's hidden.
Yeah, this makes bitcoin really strong, there are still a lot of people who invest in cryptocurrency especially bitcoin despite of so many FUDS.

You know the government seems to be upset with anything there can't put under their control and would want to kick against it, but with time it's actually going to be a history because what must be must be, the ban some countries lay on bitcoin isn't stopping it's growth, it is a sign that bitcoin is gaining more traction across countries and soon it will be accepted globally, it's just a matters of time everything will turn out perfectly. Soon the government will get to see the importance of crypto to it's economy
I believe we win in the end, we’ve spread so much already that at this point i think it would be near impossible to stop it from growing. they might slow it for a while but i think a stop of growth is near impossible Undecided

the crypto ban is temporary, maybe this is the right answer to answer every question that exists, because we see politics continues to run, many people want power, maybe someday there will be smart people who are interested in crypto money, can lead a government, like the state of el salvador..

Countries that ban Bitcoin should also consider whether to ban Bitcoin all the time.
The charm of Bitcoin is limitless. Many countries have banned Bitcoin for a period of time, and then they discovered the advantages of Bitcoin and accepted it again.
More and more countries allow the use of Bitcoin. There will also be some countries that set Bitcoin as legal tender.

Not everything is as cloudless as some here suggest. States and their governments have been keeping an eye on cryptocurrency and have yet to come to a consensus on cryptocurrency since the G20 countries decided that cryptocurrency does not pose a threat to global financial stability. Recently, however, there have been more frequent calls from some high-ranking officials of various states to more strictly regulate the circulation of cryptocurrencies. Therefore, the confrontation is still ahead and it is too early to calm down. States have a lot of real levers of influence on all processes that take place in society.

Bitcoin is a new technology, and some countries banned the use of Bitcoin a few years ago. Although many regions are implementing encryption bans, this does not stop the growth of Bitcoin. Encryption technology, blockchain technology and even the long-term development of the financial industry have a huge role in promoting the long-term development of the financial industry.
With the continuous development of the industry and the market, the country's attitude towards encryption supervision has also begun to change. Bitcoin will provide people with new opportunities for new financial methods, and it will become stronger in the future.

As the countries ban the BTC because they have no control over it and they can't be able to track all the records. People use BTC as a payment method and most of the cryptocurrency is used in Black Market.

I don't think the tracking is the issue that governments see. Tracking has become quite sophisticated and there are strong businesses focusing on analytics technology to make transactions traceable quite effectively. It is more the issue that they can't stop anyone from transacting. They can't interfere with transactions. That's what they claim is the biggest problem when it comes to financing of terrorism and the like.

I believe when something is new, it’s very hard for a set of people to understand. So, they move ahead with term called ban
Cryptocurrency is the next big thing and one cannot change that. It's a revolution blended with economic evolution .
Governments should take time and study the importance of cryptocurrencies

It is not just about new things. Some new things people can accept rightaway without understanding it,,,remember like foldable phones or flat TVs or people going to space who are not funded by the state for example;)

It is when things force you to change your life is when the problems arise. Like email changed the way we send letters or faxes. Or how crypto change the way we needed states and banks to help us send money.

Email is a better example for people hesitating to adopt it. Reminds me of my grandma who never accepted to use email. With crypto and its adoption the issue really was the risk involved when you used it for transactions. I remember my first transactions, checking the public key of the counter party 10 times before pushing "send". If you send your money to a wrong back account at a normal bank, they can reverse the transaction and if they can't, the other party committed theft. This is very different in crypto and keeps people away who are not that tech savvy and critical of technology anyway.

I think most people will stay in their activities on bitcoin, however.. something that is really worth it will not be easily abandoned, I think if it is more potential for things that smell positive... it is possible prohibitions for bitcoin will be revoked, and let's see also that bitcoin is able to embrace the future and provide tremendous hope for humanity.

I would also be quite surprising if politicians decided to do something against cryptocurrencies now that all those banks seem to get on board in various ways. They would have to argue in a very awkward way why they think cryptocurrencies are bad if even their own banks trade it and therefore legitimize it to a certain extent.
