Bitcoin is a new technology, and some countries banned the use of Bitcoin a few years ago. Although many regions are implementing encryption bans, this does not stop the growth of Bitcoin. Encryption technology, blockchain technology and even the long-term development of the financial industry have a huge role in promoting the long-term development of the financial industry.
With the continuous development of the industry and the market, the country's attitude towards encryption supervision has also begun to change. Bitcoin will provide people with new opportunities for new financial methods, and it will become stronger in the future.

prohibitions for bitcoin have existed for a long time but the fact is that bitcoin is still standing and growing today, let's see if China is consistent with the ban it issued, or when the government changes, mining will exist even if it's hidden.
I think most people will stay in their activities on bitcoin, however.. something that is really worth it will not be easily abandoned, I think if it is more potential for things that smell positive... it is possible prohibitions for bitcoin will be revoked, and let's see also that bitcoin is able to embrace the future and provide tremendous hope for humanity.

While this can be comparable but i believe Crypto is far different from telephone/internet banning because this involves financial usages and not just service .
Means if ever this will be adopted then the economy is more prone from anything more than just the internet and telephone .
It's always about money (finance) and control mate and not service as you think. The move to ban the internet phone software was because the traditional American carrier telecommunication companies thought they were going to be pushed out of the market due to what they called unfair competition. This is what is exactly happening with Banks, traditional payment systems and Cryptocurrencies right now.

currently all people are trying to stop bitcoin in their own way to prohibit its circulation.especially the government which expressly refuses bitcoin to circulate in their country which is currently being controlled by several factors, especially people who will take over, since bitcoin became a big business they have flocked to destroy bitcoin through the internet and pressure from the government
true as you said, now more and more are banning bitcoin, china, tesla, elon musk, even they have banned bitcoin for a long time, but their efforts have not succeeded until now,, so you can say this ban is only temporary, because I think no matter how much they try to close I don't think it's going to go according to plan.
It seems to me that banning is not the word to use because BTC and blockchain has become so pervasive in virtually every industry aspect that we can only anticipate long term endorsement.

The momentum is gravitating more and more towards organizations and enterprises, there will be a boom once these all start adopting the power of the blockchain and with that on the way I'd say there's little in the way of replacing or taking down BTC.

I guess most of you have noticed the rise in the number of banks and Financial commissions and Governments in different countries announcing bans on crypto purchases using banks, crypto exchanges, and in some case Bitcoin mining crackdowns. From UK to Japan, Canada (Ontario) to China, but one thing for sure is all those attempts can't stop a force that has already gained momentum. It only signals that the Bitcoin movement is going down the right path of history.

They want to have control of how people spend and transact but with Bitcoin and other cryptos, they are powerless, that's why they are not happy.

In 1996, the regulatory bodies tried to ban Internet phone software, the rest is history  Grin

It still describes very well the point that banning something for your citizens which will turn into a major global decentralized network must be a temporary move. How are you going to explain to your citizens that they are not supposed to participate in an otherwise open network that is used by all other people around the globe? While this was for communication, it was quite the same.

Now it is about exchanging value in a decentralized way, so it will be even harder for governments to keep up their bans.

In fact, everything has its ups and downs. People in the banking sector think that decentralized currency is a threat to the banking business so they have always opposed it. When the use and promotion of Bitcoin has increased tremendously and it has become popular in all fields, people in the banking sector are looking for various excuses to ban Bitcoin in order to survive.
If you have a headache, amputation may not be the solution. Bitcoin is the currency of the digital age so without being allergic to it, everyone should think about how to move forward by adopting it.

It's just that the power and momentum of bitcoin is stronger than it used to be(2018), Really, it's more than a force, any wave of rage and pressure from the media, the government just  makes us realize, how different is bitcoin?  History is what it's been through and there's no going back, just like you grow up, you won't remember what you've been through.  Forget the past, be tough and strong.  Bitcoin will continue to rise unstoppable. Bitcoin will hit 80k and below that is the complete failure of the bank.

They prohibit crypto, because they do not understand and are afraid of changes. But this will change soon.
They do understand and they know that it doesn't benefit them and their hold of power so they ban it, that's as simple as it gets as to why these countries ban crypto.

The emergence of a certain thing that screams potential certainly brings threat and uncomfortable feeling towards its competitor. The insecurity and worry will become evident by doing the unjust things just to get past ahead the known rival. Hence, the article you provided is a great example of what is happening right now in cryptocurrency world.

I really do believe that cryptocurrency banning is just temporary because the leading factor that is behind that is usually the politics. The perspective of the officials presently elected is a great factor about the status of cryptocurrency legality in a country. After the administration and when the years of reign of the leader is over, it's time to have another set of government officials to lead the country. Another set of people that may have different principles and beliefs compared to the prior ones. Hence, the cryptocurrency banning will not be permanent.

I guess one good example here is the country of Vietnam. They have banned cryptocurrency before and made it illegal to be a mode of payment. However, recently I have read that Vietnam is now open-minded about cryptocurrency in their country. In fact, the Vietnam government has already a designated team that is tasked to research about cryptocurrency and its implementation and regulation in their country. This is said to be the bold step of Vietnam to the next level of digital economy in their place.

I believe when something is new, it’s very hard for a set of people to understand. So, they move ahead with term called ban
Cryptocurrency is the next big thing and one cannot change that. It's a revolution blended with economic evolution .
Governments should take time and study the importance of cryptocurrencies
it's true as you said, something new will definitely be considered foreign and will definitely be banned, but most of their governments don't want to think about what can't bring benefits to them, moreover the government can't take control of bitcoin, so they will definitely do everything they can to stop the movement of bitcoin, but all their efforts from the past year, have never succeeded..

Crypto bans might be temporary but that won’t affect the prices and volume. There are a lot of people who are still interested in trading in cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin is the mainstream currency among cryptocurrencies. It has a long history of development. It has been suppressed by the government during its existence for more than ten years, after which the price will be adjusted. Bitcoin is decentralized, it is not subject to payment restrictions and controls its own wealth. This is not conducive to the government's profit from it, and the government will prohibit the use of it. But Bitcoin can bring high profits to people, and more users like to invest in it. Increased demand for it increases its value, and it also has great development potential in the future.

I also think that these cryptocurrency bans are just temporary. China is a good example for it. They banned cryptocurrencies before but started letting people use them after. Now, they banned the cryptos again. But I don't think this will be permanent also. Eventually, they will let this again. Because I don't think that people will stop using cryptocurrencies still.
China is banning mining this time, and the law still recognizes Bitcoin as a legal asset.

The revolution of cryptocurrency is unstoppable. Who will stop it?? Governments who are banning it? Countries who don't want cryptocurrency to be used by the countrymen?
Its unstoppable because it is decentralized. The Bans that some countries did?? I agree that it will be just temporary because if they will see a huge growth and development towards it and as more and more countries try to regulate it in the future, these countries will lift the ban and will just let crypto be used in their country.

In 2017, they tried to stop the growth of cryptocurrency by banning ICO's in their country but they aren't successful. Now they are trying to ban crypto again by stopping those mining companies and I don't think that they will be successful on it again. These companies might get stop but it will be just temporary because I believe that they will do something to resume their operations.

Cryptocurrency cannot be banned, and bitcoin is only temporarily suppressed. Bitcoin runs in a network system. The nodes are all decentralized and distributed all over the world. It is impossible to shut down all of them. In technology, no country can control Bitcoin, because Bitcoin is a consensus reached by anonymous participants around the world and can only be restricted but not banned.
The existence of Bitcoin in the world is reasonable, and prohibition is impossible.

The people who are trying to stop bitcoin are those who have no interest in bitcoin or even those who want to buy bitcoins at the lowest possible price. Some governments that ban bitcoin are afraid because bitcoin will dominate all aspects of their economy. Bitcoin pros and cons will continue to emerge. But for now bitcoin FUD continues to spread, making the price fall even more. Bitcoin FUD as it is now will only last for a while, we'll see the development of bitcoin will accelerate and the price will reach a new ATH again. Bitcoin will survive under any circumstances.
