You arent being overly critical at all, there isnt really such a thing when talking about the quality of audio recordings, high fidelity is where its at! Apologies if I am about to be overly critical though.
Some of the jingles and DJ voiceover parts could use a bit of work. But you obviously expected some kinks that need to be worked out as this is brand spanking new.
The woman doing the intro could be cut about a minute earlier, I like the information she is giving me but she takes too long (maybe spread that clip out over the entire show, but split into smaller more digestable tidbits), and im also not sure about the part where she says "your blockchains are long", of course they are long, if they were short I would be listening to the daily freicoin show .
Also is that you doing the voiceover style parts such as "bitcoin booming" MTM? It sounds a little like you are forcing the "voiceover style" and that to me is a little bit ofa shame as you have a pretty good tone of voice for radio as it is don't try to make your voice sound like the typical movie voiceover guy and instead let it flow naturally
Whatever happens, im a daily listener now lol, and I would have take the DEA approach regarding itunes and just say no to apple.
Keep up the good work you 3! (apologies if there are more than 3 of you lol)
I thrive on criticism so don't worry there - When you're talking about the announcer voice that was originally me, but we've cut all those parts - Were you talking about an old episode?
Right now I'm running non-stop to keep up with the editing schedule, today is the last day I'm editing-bitch, and I'm looking forward to improving some of these details when I have that time back. The reason why (historically) I announcer-voice some things is because I don't like announcing myself - All of that has already gone away (unless i'm forgetting something in the last two episodes)
The format is really in flux, so while the content is pretty fixed at this point (News and discussion) all the details need work.
The team right now is three, next week we bring on Chris the editor and my wife as our office manager/my assistant - The response has been out of this world and I'm already falling behind on correspondence and promotion.
