Op you see this matter of blame I removed it from my agenda and mind in every thing I do for once a man begin to aportion blame in any set of sectional area of life no that failure is at hand the time spent in thinking of what cost your failure can be used to think way forward this blame of a thing have turn out as habit to many who even believe that people cost their failure but forgetting that life is gabage in gabage out if you fail to work don't think tomorrow will be better by magic even our Bible said that the lazy should go and learn from the ant which gathered it food at summer dey season if any can work to succeed without blaming or waiting for nature to provide why can't human work. Government can't do everything I have see a graduate who believe that only government work can feed him even at the point is not available some time I see that lazy people put everything on blame and hoping to be help either from friends,uncle , anuty or relative who are able to do but where as this turn out negative blame is the only option either on government or where they placed hope that failed them,my opinion is that we should always go and learn from anuty to be hard working and refuse to fall into groups of blaming either government or relatives where hope is placed as OP revail.

Honestly, this country na difficult place to live in, and governments no dey try at all. If only the citizens could realize how much power they have though, things might change before tomorrow morning.

Sometimes I wonder, if it was possible to make our country a little bit easier to live in, why haven't we? Government dey wrong the people, the people dey wrong themselves. Speaking of electricity,  yes, we are behind in that aspect, but the entire country sef is behind so I don't even know what to say about that one, but as for employment, I honestly think you'd wait forever if you're waiting for the Nigerian government to grant you jobs.

If you want to blame the government, you should know that there are countries that are better than ours where they still blame their government.  Don't waste your energy on things that would suck it all out, when you can focus on how to either survive or escape the country. Government will always be government and they will always be corrupt, you just have to help yourself however you can.

Even though we are to blame the government for the hardship and bad governance brought upon this country, em no go be enough reason to blame them for a crime committed when caught cos our government no for a day force or tell peso to commit crime. Peso wey d commit crime d do am with an open eyes not with a malfunctioned reasoning.

Blaming government for d crime committed, just d like another way of blaming d devil for the crime committed.  How does it sound? Em no sound stupid?

The country bad, d country bad as many Nigerian's put am, no be people d make am legitimately for the country without committing a crime? Why can't you as a peso wey d commit crime make am also without committing a crime.

Take for instance, if every one of us begin to the commit crime base on how the country d, the country go contain all of us?

I find it to be weird when a citizen of a country complains or blames the government for his or her crime committed without finding ways to hustle and better em life in a legit way by being self-employed. We can't wait or let government do everything for us via creating employment for everyone of us cos we plenty for this country. The FG go do the ones they can, we as a citizen go do the rest to feed and create employment for ourselves.

  Normally this life na every man for himself, na only you waka come na so he go only you way go waka go.  The situation of the country don make am be like say we day for jungle. People now wan day reap people in any slightest chance way them get. Most people sef don forget their morals. Everybody mind day on making this money they no wan even know or care if they hurt person to make the money. For instance now, most parent no know watin be the source of the pikin money. They no wan know as long say the money day enter their hand. The country make things hard so tey some people don even forget their self. There is more to life than just chasing money. There’s are memories to be shared along the way, genuine relationships to be kept and many more things money can’t buy. This is why some people after their chase for money and they finally get it, they become so lonely because  of genuine relationships with people.
  Government fit do better for their own side, because na because of them we day go this extreme to make money, if things been day okay. And we get stable economy at least an average person go fit meet up with standard of living. Even those way day below average go fit see for chop.,because opportunity for choke because country way get better economy go fit attract foreign investors to our country, this investment day provide employment, no be everybody go wan work for government some definitely go day private sector.  So government still get plenty work to do for this our country. Regardless of watin day sup make we no try loose our way.

Government don make every youth in the country to mind their business and many of them e no dey think of government work again. Certificate is now nothing in the country and technology and skills nai don take over the whole country. And na because bod all dis kind things nai make people dey say school na scam. Na president Buhari even talk say naija youth e dey lazy but he no provide any job for dwm yet dem survive wella. And dis government wey come like dis has nothing to offer instead na stuffer head him carry come sef.

How will someone start something meaningful without money or how will someone learn handwork without money, I see so many reasons to blame our politicians and leadears. If our politicians wants the people to stop talking about there failure to rule us properly. Government should create jobs, empowerment for youths, reduction of school fees because in Nigeria now ehh who no get money no fit go school ohh, and the most important one is reduction of food price because our politicians or leaders know what to do concerning inflation, people now eat one square meal a day just because no money to afford three square meal and seeing little  children suffering from kwashiorkor annoys me

Thank you for pointing out those ones and I will also like to tok some them small. This is a political matter. And there r two major things government supposed do for the citizens and if any government fail to do dem, di citizens go suffer and these things are: 1. Welfare of the citizens and 2. Security of the citizens and any other functions of the government is under these two. And government provide these two things for the citizens and failure to do so, must receive the blame. And Nigerian Government fall woefully to provide these things so they are to blame all the calamities happening any Nigerian. As for me I dey blame the government for everything about the citizens. OP if I wish you understand what is going on the country. You created this thread on the periphery, if you create this thread as an insider, your narrative would have changed. Do you know that the money you are looking for, a politician in your state has them for like 4 building full with money and he is not spending them for the fear of arrest so he just keep them there to be spoiled. And you are here saying I should not blame them. Flood palliative to a state last year was kept in the warehouse for more than 8 months and the people discovered it and broke into it and take the food and these food were for the people.

Just tell me your state allocation and the projects the government has used the money for. Even Rivers State that Wike did massive works is nothing. Because if we compare the allocation that enters Rivers State every month is much more than the projects he did. If the allocation were utilized well in state Rivers would have been the Dubai in Nigeria. Oya let me shock you. Small money Goodluck gave to the former Govenor of Akwa Ibom State, now the Senate President, he used the money to build the best Football Stadium in the Whole Africa. And all these ones na for the welfare of the people. And another one again, do you know the meaning of Census? Census is the head count of people in the Geographical Territory and after counting the total number of people then government would analyze the population data and know the poor in the territory and if anyone that could not support imself, it is the duty of the government to support those ones and dat is in sometimes you are hearing that a state government is giving money to the age people. The money belong to the people.

Then the SEcurity, It is the duty of the government to create convience environment for the citizens to do business to support themselves. And government has fail woefully. A Fulani Nomadic man came to the Niger Delta and use their cows to eat up people cassavas the government say and do nothing and you are saying we should not blame them. Na why we never still grow as a nation. We know say our politician no de try at all but we need to understand that our lives first of all is our individual responsibility, most of these politicians made sacrifices that the average Nigerian will never agree to just to get to that position, and you think they should be too bothered on the masses? Yeah, it's not everytime we should blame the government for our bad conduct.  Why would anyone blame government for stealing. You have legs and hands to do legit work yet you choose to steal and you want to blame the government. How?.
Even the high cost of leaving for this country, individuals sef contribute. I see say something’s wey dey happen wey make our youths dey do bad things na just because dey no dey satisfied with d little wey dem get, dey wan buy big car, buy expensive clothes, go club and carry woman. And last last small money wey dem dey get no go do them again, d next thing na to go do illegal things just to make money. Dey wan compete with their friends.

Blaming someone else makes them feel less responsible for the fall of the country though. Obviously this is an easy route for those guys that should have been blamed. Politicians are sick as always.

But why not blame their colonizers. Burkina Faso, Mali or Niger did blame France. They are kicking out France from their country. They had it and they are fed up already.

Dis idea and mentality where our people get to put blame for government for everything wey happen to dem na him dey limit our people from going far and dem no fit make decisions for dem selves. We know say naija get him bad part but here still dey comfortable to live in dan all dos luxurious countries.

As e bad reach, if you put mind say you go comot hustle to find something chop, you go still get am do. D environment still dey conducive to fit into our way of lifestyle for d country. But as man no suppose just dey think within d box, we gatz diversify oda means wey money go dey come through even as government no wan do am for us. Dat wan na our responsibility to do if government no wan do am for us.

Good governance start from individual, local government, state government and upto federal level but when you check all this sections, everybody dy contribute to the bad governance of the country in one way or the other, we don't help the country but we're always quick to jump on any government officials for any of their mistakes but meanwhile, we don't do what is necessary for good governance. I go elaborate am for you.

Individual case: Corruption eradication start from individual, from home to home, from work place to work place but not everyone that is ready for this discussion. Take a look at Nafdac and organic creams has been trending over some weeks now. There is this guy that has been calling out entrepreneurs that sell product without properly registered With Nafdac. Checking most of tbe nigeria start up that are into sell of consumable goods don't register their products, they are not tested and verified for the public use but entrepreneurs go behind to put these products on shelf for sales, even brand influences collect money to advertise these products. This is how we are doing our self, nobody want to follow due process anymore, they want shortcut which is illegal and illegal process is a crime which people need to put to stop.

Local government: If you know the numbers of ghost workers that are registered on monthly payroll without going to work sometimes even exceed the real employed workers under the local government, they are been paid by the government and the don't show for work, we plenty of them accross 774 local government we have in this country but when they hear that minister embezzle money, they are the ones that do quick to react to news forgotten that they are also bad of the bad governance. Money that was supposed to be use for development of local areas are been siphon between them and they will cry later that the government don't support the local areas.

State Government: The state government are not different from the local government in money mismanagement. However, the corrupt under the state government exceed what happened in local government, they have ghost workers that don't show up at work, some of them work with the state government and also work with the local government and under the law, you are not allow to work under the two levels of government, you have to chose one but there are people that chose more than one. In addition, there is high rate of project fund mismanagement but people will close eyes on them because they are guilty of sharing the money among them.

Federal government: The federal government by looking at them looks clean but are more bigger in corruption and embezzlement, jobs that are supposed to be given out by merit are sold for applicants in huge amount, mismanagement of funds and hate to take accountability of stolen funds.

If all the levels of government are this bad, I don't see the legislators, judiciary and executives doing the right thing for the country, let the change start from individual, when everyone is ready for the right path, everything will fall under good path.

thank you well well for this matter wah you bring out. you see eh, the most problem wah Nigeria youths get na lazyness. we don't want to hustle. that's the reason why we keep on founding forth in everything government does. yes our Nigeria government is not trying, no employment and there not even ready to employ soon. our youths don't like going to learn work , what we want is Sharp Sharp money.

I blame government sometimes but not in everything. we also need to help ourselves.

I understand your perspective that it's important to acknowledge that we can't solely blame politicians and the government for our difficulties in this country. However, it is also fair to hold them responsible to some extent. In Nigeria, for example, the government has not provided adequate basic amenities, there are several challenges such as high unemployment and various other shortcomings. These issues have made it particularly challenging for the people expecialy the young people to achieve their dreams and goals. I normally say Naija government no get plans for the youth, so I advise we the youth strive hard and go extra mile to achieve our goals.

Nigerians are naturally 'others blamer', we dey hardly take responsibility for wetin we do and this na so e be dat's why e dey very common for you to dey see we dey blame others for wetin we do to ourselves. Even though the government dem been dey do very well, we for find way still blame dem too as dem dey make us too comfortable for be the talk wey we for they talk. Inside this country wey we dey complain so na so others dey succeed. We dun ask ourselves if those people wey dey make am get two head, we need to stop to dey blame blame people and focus on how we go make am from this rat race wey we dey like dis so.

If we don't blame the politicians who will we blame ? Is it you or myself ? The truth is bitter and it remains the fact. Our leaders are the cause of this bad economy that we are experiencing because they don't care about us,but only themselves and they only implement what they will benefit from only and not the masses. Nigeria leaders has done a big harm to our economy and it might take a very long time to build it back or never. We voted and our votes don't count. We needed a good leader and INEC chairman gave us his own leader. Bro why we no go blame leaders. The president from Obasanjo till date are borrowing money from foreign countries all in the name of Nigeria but at the end this money wouldn't be used for the purpose but for their selfish desires.

Nigerians are hardworking and tolerant, if not these country wouldn't be a happy place for everyone. If it is in the second world country all these dubious acts would have been put to stop by the citizens. The youths are peaceful and hardworking people who out of nothing creates something for themselves to survive with the harsh weather. It is normal to complain about the hardship but have you seen anyone that is eating without working in these our present days. No
