the reality is that manchester united is very lucky, as manchester city has a european champions league game and they won the premier league so manchester city will focus 100% on the european champions league game, city is in the final and that means that they can finally be champions, I doubt very much that the city coach will want to risk putting even 1 of his best players to play in this game against manchester united, the most likely scenario that the contention and that city will put players who are not needed to play against manchester united

but that doesn't mean that the game will be easy for manchester united, that's because even city's B team is much stronger than manchester united, and it would be quite humiliating for manchester united to lose against city's B team, so I predict that the game will be decided on penalties, of course in my opinion any team can win on penalties, in this game I don't see a team being the favorite, that's assuming that city plays with team B which is the most likely scenario that will happen , if I'm going to bet on this game, I'll probably choose the under 3.5 goals market if I have a good odd

This is a slam dunk case for Manchester City. United doesn't stand a chance. And no, I'm not judging based on their performance in the semi-final against Brighton, I'm judging based on the form of Manchester City.
When Man City are in this kind of form, it's so, so hard to stop them. It doesn't matter how complete the Manchester United squad is, they won't be winning that final.
Then there is an added bonus for Man City. The final would be played on the 3rd of June. That is after the league and Champions League ended so Manchester City will have only the FA Cup final to focus on without distractions.

I too liked Brightons gameplay. They were coordinated with their passes and tried to retain the ball in their possession and it showed with the general statistics on ball possession. Like you noted, Manchester United has some players missing from the squad cause of injuries.
With penalties, it’s difficult to predict a winner as it could go either way.

So I guess Manchester United was lucky to have won the game on penalties. Having qualified for the final, they’re to face Manchester City. Now, both teams on paper would seem to be evenly matched but with Manchester United’s current form, I think they’re no match for Man City. I wish Man United well but I just don’t see them winning the game. Man City is out to grab and win as much trophies as they can.

@Merit.s Manchester United are really suffering from injured players in the team, the full back players are all injured and the midfielders are just recovering from Injury. Erickson flopped yesterday, he's passing wasn't connecting because of injury. I just hope all injured players are fit before the final game with Manchester city.

Brighton really played well, I was glad seeing how they were able to dominate and possess the ball during the match, despite their lost, it wasn't a bad result because I think they play a better team that has many experience in a situation like that. Holding Manchester United draw till 120 minutes is a good result for the team. Penalty is a game of luck and the luck for that moment was with Manchester United and they have to win. It will be interesting to watch the two Manchester club in the final , lets see who it will go .

Playing the FA Cup semi-final at home to Brighton, Man United were made to suffer. A lot of great chances Brighton got but De Gea was outstanding. He deserves to be the best player in today's match. He managed to deny several shots of the Brighton players. In addition to Brighton controlling the game, they won possession. But luckily they missed one penalty. In the final Man United will play Man City, it is quite difficult but this is the last hope of a trophy for Ten Hag this season.

The game was very interesting and entertaining to watch, both side played really well. Brighton is not an easy team to play with, they have been giving a lot team tough time this season, they are in a good position in the English Premier League Table and before the end of the season they might qualify for Euro Competition next season. Manchester United still want to see if they can add the FA Cup to their collections this season, since they have been be eliminated from the European League, their last hope of winning another trophy is the FA cup but is not going to be easy for them because Manchester City is a very good side, so is going to be a cracker that day, what an interesting final, Manchester derby.
