Hah! Nice one. I really don't understand what someone is doing playing Goff this late in the season, unless their main QB had a bye week. Lets say your league has 10 teams. That means there's 22 other starting QBs you have to pick from, granted they aren't all picked up. This week there were literally 22 other QBs who outscored Goff -- hard to believe they are all taken in any league.

Here was my week's performance (I'm the team on the right) -- note our scoring system is a bit wonky, I think our commissioner upped the points by a factor of 10 to avoid having decimals:

And BTW I didn't watch the Rams game, I stayed out drinking on the beach too late and woke up during the 4th quarter. Glad I didn't watch it, actually.

Holy shit! The ravens saved my ASS !!!

That feels great that I tossed Goff to the curb and he streamed him against me!

That might be Ingrams best week all year (Just checked and its his second best week), damn the stars really aligned on this one.

And we were tied as well, both of us fighting for a playoff slot.

...

I think he's going to loose the rest of the year. There seems to be no-one giving him the benefit of the doubt for anything like maybe responding to a racial slur or some other mitigating type circumstance....

Called it first.

Quote
Myles Garrett accuses Mason Rudolph of using a racial slur, which Rudolph denies | NFL Live
And now we need to give the benefit of the doubt to Rudolph, we know that many lawyers are not above lying when it comes to represent their clients and playing the race card is a very easy way to try to defend what Garrett did, unless evidence appears corroborating this information then we need to assume Rudolph is innocent, I have my doubts this actually happened because if it was true then Garrett would have revealed this information immediately as a justification for his behaviour after the game and he did not.

BTW your personal text is very fitting. Grin

Rudolph was fined $50k so I think they bought Garrett's accusation of it happening on the field.
Now if he was just mic'd up.

The NFL already declared that they found nothing on Rudolph. There was an article about it. Myles Garret might have only made a desperate move to take Rudolph with him hehehe.

@ralle14. Lamar MVP hehehe. It might be a close one with him and Russ Wilson.

I also took the Ravens to cover the spread and i'm fairly confident they will win without too much hassle.

Rams have decent enough rush defense, ranked 5th allowing only 89 per game but they are facing a different animal tonight. I don't think they can stop Lamar, in fact nobody has. BAL run game is so unique and unpredictable it's just tough for teams to scheme against it, even Belichick failed!

Its a tough game tonight to pick a winner and I'm not even sure if either team can cover the spread so I'm just taking a prop bet on Mark Ingram rushing yards under 53.5, So far I have had a good week in the NFL even though I lost my point teaser thanks to the Packers getting destroyed last night or else it would of been a very good week.
With the spread moving down to -3 i'm liking the Ravens to cover this one i've bought half a point to avoid the push. Not convinced enough on the Rams home results that's why i'll be siding with the Ravens since they've beaten teams with records similar to theirs like the Seahawks and the Patriots.

I am surprised to see the Patriots still being frontrunner for winning the Superbowl. Their offense just sucks badly this season and while their defense looks elite at first sight, it's still to be seen how elite they are against better opposition. We got a glimpse of that when the Patriots took a beating at the Ravens the other week allowing 37 points. And that was the first real test the Patriots faced this season. They already played the whole NFC East, probably the worst division this season. They played their own division, where a 6-0 is expected as always. But in that Bills game they already struggled and the Bills record is more a result of a weak schedule as well. And then they played the capricious Browns and the Steelers for their season opener.
The Patriots will have the Texans and Chiefs next. I hope that both show up and am curious to see what happens, when the Pats D or special teams is not able to bail Brady out.

Probably the reason for the Pats to still be above everyone else has to do with their record, even if they lose those two games they will end 13-3 and that will guarantee them a bye week regardless of what their competition does and if you look at the schedule of the Ravens you will see they still have to play SF, LA and two difficult division rivals so most likely those calculating those odds think it is likely NE will get home field advantage.

Even us Pats fans were mentioning that those tripping calls were bullshit and we don't want the team to be known for being coddled as it takes away from all they have accomplished over the last few decades. Brady should have kept his mouth shut instead of defending the calls. he has been coddled and its just a fact but on the whole the Pats success has been mostly due to belicheck being an absolute master of the art of wringing every aspect of management to his advantage. He will go down as the best coach of all time for the foreseeable future. And Kraft has been crafty enough to just stay out of the way which is tougher than most think as jimmy Jones is a prime example of. Team owners have big ego's and will shoot themselves in the foot rather than admitting mistakes. Another good example of this was Al Davis with the Raiders, it looks like his son has seen this and given Gruden the keys to the kingdom for the next decade or so to accomplish something similar. As the years go bye it will be interesting to watch this dynamic and to see if he can actually stand back while the raiders deal with defeat like they did this week.

I'm seriously considering dropping Brady to the wire but he tends to get his ass in gear when the hate is directed his way so his best games are when he has a chip on his shoulder like he has done to kc in the last few matchups. Lets not forget the Pats have beaten KC with Mahomes the only 2 times they have played! That is actually quite an accomplishment.

Thank you for the nice words and the merits, guys. I wasn't expecting such a rout, but was a nice no sweat win, which you don't get very often in NFL at these odds.

During the late games, you could still get the Bucs at 2,50 in the battle of Florida week next at the Jaguars, but now it's only 2,00, which looks fair.

Fuck. I missed my Pittsburgh bet by half a point  Angry

On the other hand, my fantasy team absolutely destroyed this week. I'm a lock for the playoffs now. Tampa Bay putting up numbers for me in all the right places. Aaron Jones having his worst game of the season didn't slow me down.

The Jets call was probably the upset of the week, merits distributed accordingly.

Gonna hike back into town to watch the Rams game again tomorrow. Hopefully a different Goff will show up against the Ravens but I'm not holding my breath over it.

49ers with comfy lead at the half 23-0. That defensive line with Bosa and DJ Jones is insane, i forgot how many times Packers punt already.

Kittle is playing and having a great game so far, a couple of key blocks, 5 for 68 yards!!! Let's hope Garoppolo won't throw a pick and bring Green Bay back in the game. Lips sealed

Kittle and Coleman locked it in for one team for me, that was a thing of beauty. Now I need Ingram to put up 12 more points than Goff tomorrow for my other team, that might be an issue. Funny that I cut Goff to the wire last week. Grin

I can't believe Sf destroyed GB that handily, its as if GB didn't even show up. I'm starting to believe in SF and thats a real weird feeling.

tyKiwanuka with post/pick of the week no doubt about it. Absolutely nailed it dude!

I end up having my ML, O/U, and handicaps in separate parlays two of which failed miserably. My moneyline parlay has a chance though. Bills had a pretty easy game v Denver, Titans are blowing away Jags, i just need 49ers to handle their biz at home. Kittle is back...so please can i get a win? haha

I have kittle in as both Henry and Kelce are on byes (yeah I have all 3 !!!) and he's still not a lock to play and could get re injured early as it turns out he had a broken ankle (they kept that quite). They are really gambling with him by playing him this early since his injury.

Nice call on the Jets at the money line guys, the Raiders are still yet to win a game at the Jets so I can see why some people on here picked them to win. I thought the Panthers to cover was great value and to be honest they should of won the game. I'm just happy to get the win and I'm still alive in my point teaser parlay with the Packers to come.

Great call on the Jets guys, i sure as hell didn't see that one coming! carr benched what an upset, looks like the raiders playoff hopes are crushed.
I'm glad I grabbed Mayfield to play and the funny thing is my opponent played Carr! And whats worse is they are still going to win as they have Godwin and Moore as WR's. I need Edleman and Gallup to put up some miracles and i don't see that happening. Cheesy

I wasn't able to vote in time but i'm on the Seahawks as I have a bet on them to win -120 and the Bills handicap. For the games later on I kind of like the patriots and the total score to go under.

All in all I think the odds on Jets are too high in what I see more of a 50/50 match.
You're not crazy I like the Jets chances too but i'm taking the few extra points just below even odds.

Edit : Wow what a performance by the jets wasn't expecting the margin to be this far.

P. Lindsay@Buf, T. McLaurin vs Det or D.Parker@ Cle for my flex 1/2 PPR?
I'm leaning Lindsay but Parker is probally the safer choice.
Damn gambler in me. Smiley

shit just noticed i'm outta time!

Call me crazy, but I am going with the Jets ML over the Raiders today at around 2,50. The Jets always have the right tools, but more than often they fail to put all the pieces together. Darnold being diagnosed with Mono didn't help this case this season. But they are getting healthy again and Darnold is upping his game each week he is under center again, tossing 4 TD's at Washington last week. Jets are on a two game winning streak, albeit against piss poor opposition with the mighty Giants and Redskins struggling a lot this season. But it should still give the Jets a lot of needed confidence.

The Raiders otoh are playing a good season so far, sitting with a 6-4 record just behind the Chiefs in the AFC West. They are on a high as well, winning their last 3 all at home. These wins didn't convince me though. Only late TD's gave them the wins against the Lions and Chargers and their win over the Bengals last week wasn't very impressive as well. They are pretty poor travellers, only winning around 20% of their games played outside of Oakland. Now, after 3 home games in a row, they have to travel across the country, playing an early game in cold-ish and most likely rainy weather at Metlife.

All in all I think the odds on Jets are too high in what I see more of a 50/50 match.

I like those arguments and they are all very logical and well thought and laid out but unfortunately they can not compete with my reasons which are I dropped Williams to the wire and chose Mayfield over Carr to sit in for my QB on buy so they will naturally have their best game of the year! So there!

I have a bunch of games that i like this week but still undecided how to play them, singles or group them.
BUF ML, DET -3.5, NYG/CHI O 40.5, TEN -3 and O 41.5, DAL/NWE O 43.5, 49ers ML, and SEA ML.
My late vote for the weekly poll goes to SEA (5-0) no one has picked the Eagles.
