There won't be huge gains again unless you join projects presales and IDO, what I'm expecting now is few corrections and retraces until bear market takes over, I plan to buy dips and hold in 2022 unless the unexpected takes place
2022 is still early but I'm optimistic that the market in 2022 can be better than 2021, even though the market is still red at the beginning of the year, but with the large number of NFT and Metaverse projects, I have no doubt that the market in 2022 can skyrocket.
As long as we study crypto well, there is no need to be afraid of the risks that will occur.
Risks do not decrease with the gain of knowledge, risks can be minimized by careful order placing and timing the orders.My stand with the altcoin investment is still on a positive note as there has been an increase in the number of new development in the area of NFTs and web 3 metaverse projects as opportunities keep rising am going to stay positive with an altcoin.
Let us see how long this hype stands. My guess is half of this year and not more than that.

Too much speculations on altcoins but the faith of altcoins will be determined by bitcoin. Only a few good altcoins that can leave from bitcoin domination while almost all of altcoins are under bitcoin domination.

I think it will always be the trend that altcoins are more dependent on bitcoin so most likely, we'll see altcoin season after bitcoin's bull run. Which ones are is a million-dollar answer, but things don't work that way, it's why investing in alts is risky... Until now many alts made a quite nice price rise, and that will continue to happen, I guess each of us has some picks for the future, but there are no guarantees! There's just our research and hope for the best after we make an investment!
Indeed, there is no guarantee that the altcoins we choose based on the analysis and research that we do can meet our expectations. Therefore, investing in altcoins is high risk, but if we look at the profit promised by altcoins which is quite large, make us brave enough to face these risks. In the end,
we really have to have faith in the altcoins of our choice. But I believe as long as we do our best, then we will get good results too. So never doubt
the choices we will take, because whatever we do in life there is always a risk. So if we believe in the future of some of our chosen altcoins, don't hesitate

Well, I give the shoot, 2022 seems to be another big year for crypto. I'm not going to expect more but with the current trend, I'm still the high level of confidence that it still be looking good and profitable.
As long as we study crypto well, there is no need to be afraid of the risks that will occur. Because after understanding crypto, it means
we already understand how to deal with the risks that will occur. So don't rush to invest in crypto if we don't understand how crypto works.
It is not easy to make a profit in the crypto world, there are many obstacles that we will face, as long as we have faith in the future of
the altcoins we buy. Everything should be fine, after all, crypto developments are always improving and it is likely that in 2022 crypto performance
will be much better than the previous year.
The altcoin market is in a favorable position with the new project in and around NFTs I believe a lot of development is underway for the general altcoin market, the coming of the virtual e gaming platforms on the metaverse web 3 the altcoin market in 2022 is going to boom.
I think cryptocurrencies will continue to grow even though it continues to rise or fall the market can be bearish but in the next year we will see tremendous hype like 2021. I don't really expect 2022 to be bigger. It would be better if cryptocurrencies grew purely without manipulation. My only hope is that a concept that could previously be developed like NFT hopes exists in many industries not just gaming.
In the long term, the cryptocurrency market will also develop, but this does not mean that we will no longer see a bear market. It is at such moments that we see the superiority of bitcoin over altcoins, when the price of the latter loses up to 95% of its value. But still, I expect the altcoin season in the near future, as I expect a further decline in the dominance of bitcoin.
Of course, bear market will occur in the market, whether we like it or not, it's the nature of it. The thing with bear market is that is is really hard for the majority to accept it specially those who still thinks that their altcoins will continue to grow after hitting a new all time high in 2021.
And now that the prime movers in the market, BTC is going down hard, for sure majority of the altcoins are going to follow it down the pipe. So it will be very ugly for newbies.

But this time, it seems it is totally different now. Altcoins are not that wild compared to last 2017-2018, but there are still a lot of shitcoins out there now.

I definitely agree with this. I think that bitcoin and altcoins difference is getting smaller and smaller. Now we see all of them go up together and we see all of them go down together. Sure there are some individual ones that change based on some stuff like news or achievements or funding or marketing etc etc but that doesn't change the fact that we are talking about being together in the general sense.But this time, it seems it is totally different now. Altcoins are not that wild compared to last 2017-2018, but there are still a lot of shitcoins out there now.

In 2018, we saw them move separately, but this time around we are seeing them move together. Look at 2020 and 2021, we didn't see alts move up without bitcoin all that much, sure it happened for a while but it was a small period and wasn't as long as 2018 and as high as that. Now if alts go up, they do it together with bitcoin, and since bitcoin price goes up, they go up too, and then they go up against bitcoin a small bit at the same time and not on a different date.
but the role of bitcoin for all altcoins is clearly felt and that role greatly affects the movement of altcoins, currently bitcoin is experiencing a correction so altcoins also participate and cannot avoid it, so the role of bitcoin in crypto is still dominant.
Contrary to speculations from various cryptocurrency analysts who have predicted that the altcoin market was going to witness the highest price boom in 2021 it seems the hype was overrated and the market went in the other direction opposite the speculations and many speculators are left with no choice than to flow with the current market conditions.
Not overrated but others just went crazy on their high price targets which is not a good approach. In fairness to most altcoins, there are lots who hit their respective ATH or begin to move their price upwards. It's just that many think that it was all failed when the market hits the dipping status a few days before the end of the year but if we look at the whole, altcoins do have a good run in 2021.
Everyone should understand speculations are still speculations and there is no mention by those professional analysts that it will happen exactly. Don't stick with it as a reference that it's the accurate thing that will happen in the future. Learn also to anticipate other things and more importantly, just because there is a bullish trend in progress, it won't be spoiled by any chance.

There’s never a time that the predictions that are being made are not positive about the coins in the market increasing in value. Although I believe that they would go up, because usually after the bitcoin bull run, altcoins willalso start being bullish as well, and I am believing that it is likely to be this year 2022.There are already coins that are doing pretty well and their prices are going up, although majority of them seems like are not doing quite good right now. It’s just going to be a matter of time and we would see them increasing in value.

Well if you compare the price of most altcoins at the first day of 2021 with the price of the first day of 2022 then i would say that most altcoins did pretty well in 2021 i would guess. Yes of course it is true that altcoins and smaller cap altcoins especially took heavy losses in the second half of 2021 and also my portfolio that consists mainly of small cap and new projects is down like 80% at least from it's ATH from back in May 2021. Still my portfolio is now worth more than in January of 2021 so overall the last year was pretty good i would say.
In my opinion we now need a phase where BTC and ETH are stable before the others altcoins can beging to rise again.
The altcoin market is going to witness high traffic in the inflow of new projects in this year 2022 with the level of preparedness in the web 3 metaverse projects in 2021 I guess a lot of new web 3 and NFTs projects are going to be launched this year, its a most exciting period waiting for the next big project to invest in.

Altcoins are definitely risky to invest so we should analyze first all our actions before making such decisions. But even how far we keep on making researches on altcoins, i think having it corrected or seeing its prices are declining are just normal and inevitable. Let's say altcoins ha6ve not met yet its high predictions that we all made of. Maybe in 2022, it will be realized soon.Altcoins have definitely their high potentials to be more valuable so we just have to keep the faith and continue trusting altcoins. Who knows an altcoin season will happen this year and we'll definitely make huge profits from altcoins. Better keep hodling this time and just wait for a good timing to sell.
