Wouldn't the end of $USD hurt Bitcoin?  A lot of people were buying BTC in China as a way to get around capital control, in order to get $USD or near-equivalent.

Dollar is still the number one world reserve currency. As many countries are developing, they are eager to make their own currencies go to the world and replace the status of dollar. Before it is pound, now is dollar. The future may be ruble or yuan. It will make us think what currency will really keep the value and doesn't lose purchasing power? Nowadays decentralized e-currency may be the future's future, like BTC. What do you think?

On the contrary, the fed has much more control of the printing press and economic of the country than before after the 2008 financial crisis.

What is for sure is that they have detected the threat on cryptos in general. Attempt to regulate, control and manipulate is certainly guaranteed.
