A beer company has marketed itself as the first blockchain beer on the market starting February 1st.
This beer has a scan QR code on the front of the can so you can follow how it was produced.
Just like other foods I have seen advertising this availability on their packaging.

There has possibly been other craft beers produced calling themselves a blockchain beer from doing a quick search there is one called downsteam. Grin
The above mentioned Bock beer is distributed by a major brewing distributor and not a just a small craft beer brewery.

Accessing information transparently and efficiently with Blockchain technology is great because you can access most of the information you need from the manufacturer. But this is also very difficult because many scammers can create poor quality Beer and print their QR code on the packaging to famous fake products.

This is a very new way, and most likely, marketing for sales is well thought out here, because true crypt fans will want to “taste” it “metaphorically”, in any case, this is interesting news for me, I would also like a few such bottles) Smiley

More and more marketplace out of the online segment have been getting more popularity. This has been adding more usage to the cryptocurrency market. Beer being an much used product worldwide getting added through blockchain makes people know better about blockchain. The base being beer reaches men much easier than blockchain. Lol

I'd buy it just to add to my collection of Bitcoin related memorabilia. Wouldn't look too bad on my shelf Tongue
If only they shipped this to my country, which I doubt.

AFAIK it's a pain to ship anything with alcohol in it internationally.

It's okay, just to give it some marketability and hedge. They should not only be a blockchain bear, they should also be accepting bitcoin as a legal means of transaction with their products. They produce food too, a large company. Bitcoin should be accepted.

- Hmm, I have a strange taste in my mouth, how do you say this beer was produced?
- Sorry, sir, it has just been reported there is an ongoing 51% attack on our beer blockchain. It's absolutely impossible to verify what it was made of. Hey, sir, are you okay? Why are you lying on the floor?

That's new. In any case, blockchain implementation is always good. I think real beer connoisseurs will appreciate this news.
