absolutely yes. it's a big problem. in many sports everything can change in a few minutes!
but there is a trick, which is to "ensure" your victory by balancing the bet.
You can use an "exchange", make a cashout, play results that "cover" the adverse result.
this make you angry but it is easy to adopt effective solutions.

Of course you'll feel worse in this scenario, it's human nature - you're so close to having something and then it gets taken away. Mix in an element of your pride being hurt, as you made a wrong calculation and it is a recipe for frustration. The only time you get big rewards in gambling, more than doubling your money, will tend to mean that there is a large risk involved and the odds are against you. In those situations you have to accept that the bookmakers earn most of their money by using data analysis which led them to the conclusion that it's highly likely they'll profit from offering it. The best approach is to stay level with every bet and just know that you will inevitably lose, but if you're winning over 50% of the time you should be in profit.

That one indicate to us that we should never do a last bet attitude then continue to say it again that this is another last bet we made since there's instances that we will never stop on betting. Then we should know when to settle up or packed up things so that we provably not encounter this scenario since its really frustrating on our side that instead we are happy that we win table shift and we lost if not everything a large part of the money we supposed to be have. 

Much really better if we develop some attitude about being fine already with the winnings we got even if its small so we are would not came to the point that we regret the same mistake which is avoidable to do. I know sometimes we fall from this since we enjoy to much on the game we played but if we are consistent on doing this discipline for sure we became a better gambler since we can think and decide well about our gambling habits.

Nobody should be sure he or she has won a game until the game has finished. If the game has not finished, something can still happen. So to be sure that he has won a game is not correct unless the game has finished.

The second thing is that if the person uses small amount of money that he can be able to lose to gamble, he can lose the match, smile and said shit happens and never think about loss anymore. If someone because of that throw something at something or vandalized something, that means he used huge amount and that is not advised in gambling.

That depends though as if you are winning huge and you only wait one game you can defend it by placing another bet,for example if you expect a  1 X 2 money line bet to win a certain team like Paris just taking for example when playing away and it is considered 2 to be a win you can defend this game by placing a bet for 1 and X double chance to the other team.

I never have felt this situation as rarely I play sport bets as single bets,I keep playing parlays and choose different time for most of the games so if I remain to wait only a single game before winning it I make sure I defend it like I described above.

It is more regretful when you had the cash out option for the game at a point where you were winning because if you are winning you will always have cash out option for you and as soon as you start losing, that cash out will be gone . Such situation makes the losing feeling very bad.

Yes so many times we have had games that we felt was our day turn around in our faces against us and it is really bizarre when you have had even one minute in extra time to win the bet. It has happened to me some times and that is why we have to understand that it is game of luck and if soccer it is not over until it is over.

Expectations are mainly what frustrates the gambler, in my situation, the gambler may have made plans on how he'd spend the money he'd win after the last game is over, then later he checks the scores and finds out he just lost it. I understand the feeling, it happens to everyone else, due to their expectations. Most times I'd ponder about why the game fails at the last one. Was it planned or is it natural? Because lots of gamblers lose almost on the last game. Recently, the thought of gambling a few games became better on my end. Although the losses would be lesser, but I'd be happier to gain a profit than losing a huge amount of money out of the misfortune of one or two teams. Sports gambling is quite predictable, but the issue we do face is the outcome like in Op's situation. Staking on multiple games, despite promising, in terms of big wins, has increased the rate of losses in the life of sports gamblers. I'd add that sports gamblers should reduce the number of games they stake money on, and if winning big is the motive, the player can increase a bit the amount of money he wagers.

While in the gambling house, where most sports gamblers book games, I see gamblers with lots of slips, and would wonder why the person still lost in all of the bet he placed on 10 different slips. Gambling in all possible means to win. For instance, in one slip the player bets that the chosen teams in his slip would win, draw or lose, then goes to another slip and bets the opposite of what he did on his previous slip. After an accumulation of more than 10 different slips focusing on maybe 10 football matches, the gambler still loses all the games and the money he used in staking the bet. Sorry to say, but I laughed the moment a gambler threw all the slips away in anger and left. It would have been better if he accumulated the money and staked it on one or two games. He'd still get the winning taste he's hungrily looking out to get. Hence, reducing the number of games and increasing in a bit the amount wagered is quite a better strategy for sports gamblers. It's rare to predict 10 different games correctly.

You are not the only one that have been in such a position, there are many gamblers that have been there already including you and me, it is sad but you also have to get used to it so tht you will not get frustrated in a way thet you will can not be able to control yourself.
In gambling you lose and you win so don't take it personally and learn to get used to it, you will enjoy it more if you are used to it.

I know that painful feeling when you're this close to winning, only to have it swiped away in the final moments. I'm guessing you probably felt like throwing something across the room or just screaming out loud.  Especially when you were so sure you had this one, and that sweet profit was practically already yours.  To come that close and lose it all mustve really stung.

At first, blowing wins stings pretty bad.  But over time Ive accepted losses as being part of the gamble and  wins and losses go hand-in-hand in this game; the highs come with the lows.  Whenever I take a tough loss now, I try to step back, take a deep breath, and learn something - about my strategy my temperament, or just the whims of luck.  Getting discouraged rarely pays off.  Instead, I look at setbacks as an opportunity to tweak my strategy and come back stronger.  There's always the next hand, the next race the next event to try for.

That is gambling for you. You are talking about sport betting where this often occur. Do not also forget that a match might not be favoring you but in just some seconds to go or after like 3 to 5 minutes extra time was given, then the match favours you and you won the bet. That is gambling for you. You can not yet be certain sometimes that you have won a match or not until the game has ended. That is why it is good not to watch the match until it has ended just not to panic so much.

I don't think there is any assurance in gambling. What we are doing is prediction which can either work or fail. Yes we tend to believe that certain selections are sure but in reality, they are not. For the sake of your sanity, kindly bury this idea of assurance in gambling because nothing is sure.

I have experienced what you are narrating here and it is not a good feeling. There were times the last selection always cut my bets and I was thinking I was being monitored by the bookies. It can actually be frustrating.  

Having total hope in gambling can ruin your hope in anything else, you don't want to start gambling with all your hope in the games, this is what messed people up fast.

I don't consider making money from gambling, my mind is set on me losing the few dollars again and few times I have been surprised, because I won instead, this is a better feeling compare to having your mind fixed on making money only.

Focus your attention on how much you are ready to lose constantly, maybe per week for gambling, the lower the amount the better you will feel, but winning is not something I can guarantee, but losing is ascertain, that's why you must not think about winning everytime.

To those who considers making profits a priority in gambling, I have come to observe that it is much more frustrating when you looses your game at when the game was almost over and you were on the safer side (winning) and just a few minute or seconds before the game is over it ended up at your lost.
I come to understand that it is more worrisome when the sure winning opportunities was so huge and got lost lately closed to the end time of the game.
