I think it will gonna last forever and has a bright future ahead .will the blockchain s developing day by day why not it is not gonna compete with the bitcoin world.it is quite obvious that goverment would not allow it fully buy still it will have its own way .
I can predict allot but not what the future will bring to the bitcoin but what i can predict is how people react at the bitcoin right now that means that the future would be good for the bitcoin for sure!
Truly people are trusting it now. Since it got up from being buried all the way to the lowest it can possibly be. Many will invest now or others will be back seeing it can do good again.
I would like to start a discussion about the future of Bitcoin.

The future of Bitcoin
After vears of trying to break the blockchain technology that runs Bitcoin, the bankers and governements finally realized that because blockchiain was a public ledger that kept all transaction and that this ledger could not be hacked or falsified; Bitcoin could not be stopped or blocked. Like email, and i-porn, it used the internet highway and without destroying the internet and its highways of communication, the blockchain technology could not be blocked.
The banks and governments decided on another plan called “f you can`t beat them, join them”. They decided that their only chance was to buy up all the Bitcoins. They started small and encouraged Bitcoin`s price to drop by demanding regulation, not realizing that the blockchain is just a public ledger that can not be regulated. The threat of regulation caused the price of Bitcoin to drop, and when the banks and government thought that the price of Bitcoin would not go any lower, they started to buy up Bitcoins. When people realized that the banks and governments were buying up the Bitcoins, the price of Bitcoins soared in an avalanche. This made banks and governments very rich.
Bitcoin became to be used as electronic money that could not be falsified or tampered with and that could be used as electronic cash replacing coins and notes. The banks and governments started to encourage the use of Bitcoin and replaced their coins and notes with Bitcoins. Then they replaced their plastic credit cards with chips that were implanted and that allowed money transactions to be made much faster and conveniently than with Bitcoin. They made their own centralized and regulated version of Bitcoin and called it i-coin.
After i-coin became convincingly more appealing than Bitcoin, i-coin became widely accepted. Bitcoin became outdated and old fashioned and the price of Bitcoin started to drop. Then there came a time where the only ones that were using Bitcoins were the ones that were afraid of the chip implants, and those that were afraid of the corrupt banks.
Then the corrupt criminals got on the Bitcoin bandwagon, and Bitcoins started to be outlawed in many countries. The decentralized Bitcoin miners - the keepers of the public ledger - became scarcer and scarcer and were overtaken by centralized criminal miners.
Bitcoin became what it started out as-. electronic cash for buying illegal goods. Eventually, the criminals took it over to use as their own black cash for trading one illegal good for another. This caused a boom in illegal goods, and made the criminals very wealthy.

you are right and still your post is also . but i think you are leaving one thing in your post that is the increases privacy in bitcoins day per day .The following is my prognosis

The above link describes another reason why central banks will issue their own i-coins. Because they can control how much is issued. But that will only be good for bitcoin adoption - until Bitcoins get eventually outlawed.
I can predict allot but not what the future will bring to the bitcoin but what i can predict is how people react at the bitcoin right now that means that the future would be good for the bitcoin for sure!
Bitcoin has made massive headways into the mainstream financial world. Although not accepted by all, it will continue to grow and prosper, despite those who would prefer to see it shut down. More trouble will arise for bitcoin, but it will overcome and persevere. 
Bitcoins needs support from its users and we are doing that, we are using bitcoins we are introducing it to friends and family, some accepts, some rejects, but that's the way to promote bitcoins and move on, the future of bitcoins is very exciting and will shine like a star in the financial world and would offers vast benefits which no other currencies can.
Yes and the future of bitcoin looks very bright we just need more people hanging around it dumping more fiat into bitcoin so bitcoin become bigger and better and more well known so the value can keep increasing and not decreasing.
Bitcoin's future will surely be working up to a bright one. The price keeps growing. Slowly but surely, we can become the best if we just focus on what we have to do.
Not sure on how the future of the Bitcoin is going to be it can go different ways. it can go really good and Bitcoin is going to become really big in this world. Or it can also go bad and the result of that is that Bitcoin will disappear.

That's normal because Bitcoin is something they can't control. Especially for banks it will be important to use their own version of the blockchain. They thrive on being the central point in every shape or form. That won't be possible when they use Bitcoin's blockchain.
Digital currency and paper currency would be definitely different since no matter those two have different blockchains they wont ever merged and thats impossible thing to happen. Future of bitcoin would be bright in my own perspective because as we saw on the progress since it was created it really does some accomplishments and benefits to people.

We just wait for bitcoin going accepted over the world as the payment , but you can still exchange your bitcoin to money .And use it for your daily needs , but i hope that's accepted soon cuz it makes your shopping more easier.

All the things you think and listed "could" happen but not so soon. Government would not do or develop a new crypto because bitcoin is the most well known digital currency and the most trusted one. People may or may not patronize the i-coin but of course, people would still stick to the old and most trusted bitcoin.
I think it is not like developing a new crypto it will just be name the icoin. Anyways, yes bitcoin has been here for like almost a decade and continue to give us excitement. It is a thing of the century. We will not be surprised if one day the government will introduce bitcoin in everyone and it will be acceptable in all transactions on different stores.
Many governments tried to stop bitcoin and they failed. they realised just like internet, bitcoin cannot be stopped. I hope bitcoin will be accepted by major companies worldwide in future
My concern is not been stop because I don't think they will succeed in that way but censoring exchanges is my concern, the way Coinbase is heading is worrisome. I hope a decentralise exchange will come up and give total freedom from this censorship like exchanges

Oh thats a really big thinking with bitcoin,and i will be pretty realistic and dont think i could worth that much.Yes it could be possible but this will be too much expectation from bitcoin but yes bitcoin has the potential to have a great future and could become the currency which rule the world,and become as important as an US dollar

it is eagerly awaited by many people. because the existence of the policy, bitcoin prices get very high.the existence of these regulations, the investors will disburse funds for the development of bitcoin.

It is possible but I don't think it will happen. that much high price is not suitable for a currency..there is big difference between gold and bitcoin. bitcoin is a currency also. not something like gold only.
and if the price increase that much buying bitcoin will be very hard. and earning bitcoin too..
