The future of paper money is simply to disappear, it will not happen tomorrow, it will take some years but it will happen

I don't think that we are ever going to live up to that

So it is idle talk mostly. Apart from that, conceptually, paper money is not going anywhere unless there are dramatic changes in society, such changes what would likely change the concept of money itself. Until then there will always be room for ready money, e.g. when you need to pay for something hand-to-hand (and this should not necessarily involve some illicit deals or transactions). I guess you can easily think up a lot of situations where paying with cash will be the most optimal way of payment

Yes, when you go to buy bread, when you go for some fruit, small transactions of money for everyday things. It´s true that there has to be a change, in society as well. I think it is being done slowly, applications to pay with the mobile, debit, credit or prepaid cards. Everything takes time and there are many people who don´t have a cell phone or don´t want to have a card, it´s clear that everything can not be changed from one day to the next, and they can´t force people, they need to convince them, to make them want that change. They will use the publicity to create that need while they will slowly withdraw the banknotes, they will convince us that touching coins with our hands is bad for our health, that by paying with the mobile there are many advantages, and if they convince the people they will go forward with it.

Who gets in the way of paper money?
I use them often and I have doubts that they will ever cease to exist. Bitcoin is not a competitor to them. This is a completely different system and it does not need to be compared with fiat.
I totally agree to you. Even if the BTC is a competitor of the paper money still I am not sure it can ever defeat the paper money. Like it is easy to transfer BTC instead of the traditional bank transaction but the use of the paper money is sometimes totally different than that of the digital one. Secondly not all the people of the world are that smart to use digital currency.
I have seen many people around me who don't even prefer to use credit cards for shopping purposes as they have fear that somebody will hack their account and they prefer to use only paper money as they find it safe easy and most convenient way for shopping.
Credit card is created for convenience but due to some hacking reports it will cause panic to the people because they feel they are risking their reputation and credit line when hack. Well, in reality paper money is more demand than online transactions because those who transact online also uses paper money and as long as there are people in this world who are left behind, paper money will always remain.

I believe that it depends on your location. You can be saying that because that's what you can observe on the people around you but you definitely did not observe places like the USA where cashless society is starting. People are just using credit/debit cards to pay because it's much easier to use and more convenient. You don't have to count money, you don't have to carry it around, etc.

There will always be places like the provinces and third world places where paper money will always be more convenient to use since every store is accepting it while swipe (credit/debit cards) aren't always.

I think if the digital currency were become famous in the world, maybe paper money were dissolve and become part of the history of different nation. Also, it okay to more users the digital currency, because it was easy to use but it hard to protect due to a lot of hacker.

Probably in some advanced and well off nations this could be possible to go mainly digital but I think paper money would still be relevant even if that happens. Even now we can observe that a lot of countries are venturing more on the digital side but the challenges of going full digital is heavy  even on these countries. So paper money im sure will be around for a long time still

Paper money will be used as an alternative currency if there is a power outage or a malfunction in the operation of electronic systems.

No paper money will always be an primary choice of people and bitcoin will be used as an secondary currency as there will be many people who will prefer to use only paper money due the fact that it is widely used and accepted and its also easy to use for shopping.

Yes, bitcoin would rather be an additional currency. Because there are many places where there is simply no way to pay off electronic money.

That's right there are not many places that accepts bitcoins as a mode of payment at a moment and even in future I doubt that it will be accepted everywhere so paper money is not going anywhere and majority of people will prefer to use only paper money.

If bitcoin does not die before that time. This is a very volatile currency and I do not believe that it will be able to replace paper money.

Paper money is not going anywhere and it will always survive especially in poor countries where people don't have any knowledge about digital world and we cannot expect them to start using bitcoins.

Yes, this is a safer way for some purchases. But over time, digital money will replace paper money, because it will be easier to control the incomes and expenses of each person.

I dont believe the paper money will desapear entirely from the planet, maybe in fisrt world countrys but in other parts of the world people believe in what they can saw and felt, for that reasons they need a proof that they have power or money that they can use to buy any kind of goods that they need or want.
proving the reality and value of bitcoin shouldn't be a problem. but yeah you are also right. for third world and uneducated people it could be difficult to believe in bitcoin. but it is just matter of time as time change the awareness increase and peoples getting more mature to understand and adopt new technologies.
I can't say anything about paper money. but future of bitcoin is very bright.

The future of paper money is simply to disappear, it will not happen tomorrow, it will take some years but it will happen. In a certain way it´s something that has already begun, more and more payments are made with credit cards, debit cards, prepaid cards, etc. The workers receive their salary at the bank and pay their bills without getting the money out of there, there isn´t a movement of physical money, there are no bills changing hands. In various economic forums it´s already talking about a concept, cashless society, there is information on the net of what it supposes, I think that is where the world is going. In fact, Australia seems to be moving in that direction already. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-03-27/is-australia-on-the-brink-of-becoming-cashless-society/8377288

Paper money is always safe and there is no threat to it from bitcoin as the users of paper money are more in compare to bitcoin and that will continue in future too.
But still we cannot predict what will happen tomorrow, it maybe now paper money was very safe but in the near future
it maybe gone or disappear, though its very hard for the people like that someday it can be replace by digital currency.

digital money more safer than paper money... future is digital concept
It's not only that we use because it is safe, what matters is to serve all the people and digital money is not for the poor. Paper money is very simple to use and there is no problem with using it, I guess it is also safe in the sense that your money is not vulnerable to hacks. Depends actually on your status in life, poor people has no interest with digital currency and paper money already gives convenience to them.
I know this will be hard to accept for many people. But I'm sure as time goes by. Technology will progress. And people will start using digital money

The future will be for digital currency so bitcoin has a good chance to be more popular in the future, once the government will massively promote the use of digital currency people will be force to study on how to use it and along the way they will find bitcoin because it is popular in the internet.
It has a possibilty to be used as major currency in the future but everything is not certain since it will need a lot of time and money in able to implement that.
