Traditional money in the near future will lose its function universal means of payment and will be replaced by electronic money. The main difficulty rejection of coins and banknotes lies not in the level of technology and in human psychology.
In e-money has a number of advantages and disadvantages. Banks and other electronic payments, bills and small change than financial institutions are much cheaper and easier to operate. The development of e-commerce further accelerates the process of eliminating the traditional money.
In the future it could happen, I know digital currency or e-money will rule the world as it gives us the convenience to transact online, and it would be easy to trace our transaction but paper money will not be out in the circulation.

But even then, you're talking about e-money in a form controlled by the government. Our economy and banking system is largely electronic already, but the control of the supply is still down top-down, from the Federal Reserve and the banking institutions it oversees.

E-money is really going to be controlled and manipulated by the government. But about bitcoin if it is going to be implemented to a country they are going hard time to control it.
Because of its decentralization they are going to hard to control it.

Agreed, bitcoin due to its decentralized nature never gets the control from government, at the same several government had planned of making their own digital currency. In this way governments try to reduce the circulation of bitcoin and increasing their own country's digital currency.

agree with you, e-money is just "numeric" no more, goverment can increase or decrease the supply without no one can stop it.
i think bitcoinis the real solution, decentralization and  transparant, so all people can ceck each transaction.

That is the reason for bitcoin cannot be a future for paper money,at least that is my theory.
It cannot be,because bitcoin isnt controlled in anyway,by anyone.
So goverment would not let to erase the paper money,to get some crypto-currency,that they cannot even control in any way.

yeah it is possible that we will get some digital currency or e-money,but believe me,it wont be a bitcoin.
Humanity is not ready yet for such a change, and bitcoin is too young for it.We will have something else.

I think the usage of paper money was decreasing in the future, many people now are using credit cards, debit cards etc., using electronics currency, and now we facing to the world of bitcoin as an  e- currency , you can buy a things using bitcoin and may be in the near future you can buy anything using bitcoin only.Of course, rarely do any of us walk into Starbucks with a $5 bill anymore. We walk in with a credit card, or a Starbucks gift card, or with an Apple Pay app on our iPhone. And that’s another way money has changed.

Decreasing is the right word but not totally erased. There are many things that cannot be done by electronics. What if everything is down, an electricity outage then what are we going to do to buy our stuff or our needs. That is why it is still needed.

Yeah the usage of bitcoin will increase in future but it doesn't indicates that paper money will simply disappear in future, paper money is easy to use anywhere to buy anything.

You are right paper money will not disappear with the establishment of bitcoin as paper money has its own good value and people like to use it for the purchases in their local markets.
We had silver and gold coins, for most of our human's history.
Now we have paper money.
What will be next? i think we will still pay with paper money, for many many years.

Local markets. You got it right. Its hard to use bitcoin there specially in the wet market. Many countries still have this. Even China still have one and those street foods. Paying up with cash is still faster.

Indeed in these parts they do not mostly even have a phone or something so that is gonna be difficult.
I always think that the paper money will exist because of this and people also like it, they like to see the money, on a digital form its just a number.

I think we cannot expect that bitcoin will kill or erase paper money.
We will have them for a long time still, maybe they will get erased but in many many years, and im sure that bitcoin won't do the job.
Lol I myself do not think that bitcoin will replace fiat paper money especially? I'm sure fiat would be removed,
but I'm not sure if that replaces paper money is bitcoin

I'd say paper money is indeed endangered but not by btc.

Banks don't like to see people with real money, they prefer us to use credit card, that's why paper money will disappear!

Yes you're right. I also do not think that bitcoin will replace paper money. I feel that the paper money is a means of transaction that is suitable for the present and for the future. because it is very easy to be traded and create the risk of error when the transaction becomes small. I think bitcoin will only shine in transactions on the Internet

That is why paper money lived for many years because of it convenience to every people. If it had not worked for them maybe they will change it but it did so it will be hard to take that away.
If you're going to observe, bitcoin is easy to use to in the future because we will expect a higher technology that is being develop on that time, so if you encounter slow time to confirm your transaction then expect it in the future to be fixed.
Yes and as I said by arising and growth of technologies such as internet of objects we see decline of paper money.
decline to oblivion, i only see paper money extinct / obsolete.  so there will be time when technology will dictate that paper money is only a waste of material and hazardous to mother earth lol.  who would use money when digital cards is everywhere?  when even government stopped the producton of it?  what i can see is, if rural areas fail to adjust, a barter will be reestablish.
