In future, we are not using polyethene covers why because of those are very harmful to environment. That's why the paper market is gradually increasing than compare with others. And Paper is very eco-friendly.

I strongly agree with you. Paper money will still be a necessity. Yes the future is online money but that doesnt say that paper money should be erased. That two kind of currency can exist together and be used as a necessity day to day.

It can exist together in a country, if a country choose to use digital currency over paper money then it will be a waste of resources to keep both of it. There is absolutely zero needs for paper money if you can pay everything using the digital way however if a country cant support digital currency then paper money will then be useful

I don't think paper money will be banned or replaced completely, Even in the current time where debitcards and creditcards are used worldwide still paper money has a significant use particularly in physical transactions, I think it would still maintain presence even if bitcoin or other internet-based methods go mainstream.

Yeah, i think so too. Paper money will lives permanently, because many people still use it. There are many places that don't have internet or technology that using digital money. So paper money is still good with them.
I think it's just a matter of time so the place does not have the Internet will be more advanced and modern. then the people there will try the internet no one people can resist modernization Cheesy
Paper money will have not a bad future in the value and that can be very good for the most people that is now already still using paper money, but the bad thing is that Bitcoin is now becoming more popular.
And that is also quite good for Bitcoin, but they have to know that you never know what can happen with the value later in the future.

Well no big companies would put their money just to give internet to an isolated area and there is not much income for them to receive.

Big companies do the VC ventures like coinbase and still get involved with bitcoin.

Just not as directly since they have their own views.

True. Poor countries will still rely on this kind of trade. You cant just delete it in the face of the world. Besides, it is also still the fastest way to trade something for a thing. Many people still lives in far lands, like in the mountains and this is how they are used to do transactions.

Thats why paper money wont go anywhere because many people will still use it on certain areas where bitcoin is useless there because the internet is not reaching them.

Paper will always be here and no technology will ever replace it,paper money is easy to use when you are offline and buying something from the market unlike bitcoin.
There will always be people who will want to use cash, and this could even be accomplished if most gov't-issued fiat was to become digitized. Black markets would create their own fiat currencies, and this would be exchanged for the digital currency (presumably) in a similar manner as to what we have now.

Paper money will be banned entirely?
How long do you think that happens?
would it work?
What security and privacy risks would it raise?
And how would public and privately issued monies interact?
i highly doubt that paper money will be obsolete anytime soon. its just the perfect way of doing transactions quick and efficiently in person. it does have some security risks though, which i imagine would be the possibility of it being obsolete.

Paper money will still lived on and will be used by people around the world, people living in areas where internet is not capable will use paper money and wont use bitcoin.

It depends...years later, internet won't be a problem anymore, bitcoin could possibly be known all over the world, but even if it goes mainstream, Paper money is still in progress...government is still putting effort to make its money safe from being counterfeited, so it means, it will be living longer...
Paper money cant disappear in the future, because there are a lot of people that is still using paper money in the future because they dont trust Bitcoin or they dont even know how Bitcoin works.
Bitcoin will be of course more used later in the future and we all also know that it will be more acceptable later, but that wont replace the paper money.

Yeah paper money will always exist as illiterate people will always prefer to use paper money as they don't want to complicate their spending by getting into bitcoins.

I think that paper money will be gone in the future. How low it is going to take I don't know. Everything is getting more and more digital and money is one of those things.
But it will be a whole process getting rid of the paper money.

There  will change a lot and at the end of this journey the paper money will definitely disappear.
I have no doubts about that if I'm honest because everything is gonna get digital now a days.
