Throughout my trading education(self-learning) most contents I read or watch regarding crypto trading states it point blank that " about 90% of crypto traders lose their funds "in the cause of trading.
If you are careful and not complicate things you can make a good profit, i do not recommend day trading for new users, make sure you invest when the market is down and set the selling price on the first resistance point and wait for the market to correct again and repeat the process, never sell anything for a loss and i am not sure why would anyone trade and sell at a loss, the market usually recovers in a short period of time, so wait for that and sell off when the market recovers.

i believe since there is no way of measuring how many people lost money in their trades so the 90% mentioned in OP is not realistic but mostly like a guess. although it is understandable assumption because of the fact that most of the traders are newbies and we are all in a heavily manipulated altcoin market where prices go up and down illogically and purely based on pump and dumps and if you are not familiar with pump and dumps and try to analyze them like traditional markets then you will definitely lose.
but as i said it is an "if", you can easily start opening your eyes and see how the market works and adapt. then you can gain more experience and eventually become successful.

I don't want to say yes or no because actually, every trader is only want to get a profit.   I am sure that every trader can easily get their profit if they have a patient for a while after they can get that coin even if in the next moment, the price of the coin is down. the problem here is every trader become greed when they see the price increase and they still want to reach bigger profit and this makes them cannot make any profit.

I think the two biggest problems that every trader should be aware of is the patient and greed. when they can manage this, I am sure that they do not lose 90% of their funds in trading. but they don't realize about this and they still doing the mistake over and over without making changes about their trade.

This has somehow made me lose interest in learning to trade. Does this mean, that as a new trader or even the professionals have a marginal percentage of being successful in crypto trading? if your answer is no, then I guess there is rules or ethics you abide by that has made you successful in most of your trading.

I would be glad if members could share with us some of their tips and guides they've adopted in trading. I think good submissions will be of help to most people in this forum.

Thanks in advance!

Where did you get that statistics dude?that about 90% losses in trading?i guess those whom you mentioned are  greed, noob and weak traders, all of them are entering crypto trading just for profit and even without total knowledge from basic and fundamentals.

Because real traders here in cryptocurrency knows what they are doing, and consistently making trades with gains if losses maybe just small chances

It happens often, if you are not experienced enough and you are just starting a new journey in here. I have lost a lot of money in the last few months because of trading, but i always recovered it back after a few good days on the market.

 Shocked

then nobody would be buying cryptos

well if you do not test, how will you be sure that you are not able to be part of the group of 10% that are the supposed winners

I would be glad if members could share with us some of their tips and guides they've adopted in trading.

- investigate the project; know who the team members are; whether this project has a future; whether the project will be used in real life.

- buy and hold for at least 2 years.

cryptos are long-term investments.

And do not forget these advice:
First of all, do not use the main fund of your daily life. After that, never put all your assets in one coin. Suppose you buy an altcoin for long-term savings, but if the profit is big enough please sell it immediately, if not, let's just say it is a savings account.

There are various reasons why people losing their money, first one is lack of knowledge, greed and predict the wrong market movement, it took times to become a good traders, but most of the traders want a shortcut and make tons of profit in a single trade, there are a lot of people succeed in trading, the earning of trading is limitless and within the time you will get more knowledge and become more familiar with the market situation, and if you already got knowledge and experience you can increase your chance to make profit in trading

Not all the people lose their money in trading,it will happen due to the lack of knowledge. To prevent your money from loss, you have to learn a top to bottom of trading. If you feel, you are quite enough with trading knowledge, you can start to inverse in bitcoin. Another reason for loss in trading is, people like to get profit in a short period. This two things is the cause of loss in trading.

The said 90% is pure speculation as there are no real data backed by statistics to support that claim. However, you should know most Crypto enthusiasts jump into trading faster before they choose to learn how it works. Thus, lossing some funds before learning from the experience. Secondly. I guess to make money (much profit) with crypto you have to take the risk of buying at dip.. With the intention of selling at pump. In most cases, if price goes dipper, FOMO sets in and some hurry to sell of thereby selling at loss. I think all these could contribute to daily loss of fund in the Crypto space. Just yesterday I hurriedly place an order when I saw the price of a coin rising.. . before I woke now, the price drop badly again. Thus, I bought high and in loss. But trust me. Ama hodl the profit out of it.

It was very simple to trade and that is to buy when the market prices are low and sell it again when it grow's up, the problem will only occur if you cannot handle your own emotions when the prices are dumping in the market.

And why do you give up so easily? You must believe in yourself and try to become the best trader, which will enter into these 10%. Trading and not only crypto currency, it's rather difficult, but not impossible.
Its true why this person are giving up so easily if you lose now there's is tomorrow you don't give up because once you enter trading expect that you can lose some of your capital.

personally i've lost about 50k usd before understood how the market works. now i earn money =)

This is the reality thoough even we doesn't like it we learned it in the hard way. Experience is the major key here as it will take us from where are we right now and this can help us in loving every flaws of trading. Though it's sad that we should need to loss to be able to understand well, so always just see the bigger picture of it as these losses will be beneficial for us in a long run. But I hope that everyone learn from their mistakes so they can at least lessen it.

Even if they have tips that helps them make money from crypto they will always find it difficult to tell people. I’m a trader but I don’t make profit everyday, there are sometimes loss occur, but the most important thing is that you make sure that your profit you’re making at the end of the month is greater than the losses you make. And self training is not a good idea, you should learn from people around you that have been into it for a long time.

How could someone lose in trading when they are educated enough in how to trade. Trading alone without any precautions will lead to a loss but when you trade or sell at the high price, then how could you possibly lose? There should be timing on when to buy and when to sell for higher success rate on your trade.

People lose money in trade because they do not believe in themselves and do not show enough patience to study the work of the crypto-currency market.

Statistics are not 100% accurate but you are correct that most of the crypto traders lose their money in trading. Do you want to know what is the main reason why this is happening??

Many are just too dumb and they want to jump straight away without learning. Most of the newbies take trading as gambling. Most traders don't know how to handle their emotions in trading. Most traders have no knowledge in trading and they are just throwing away their money to professionals.

First of all, there are no perfect trades so you need to adjust in every trade you make. Even the best traders tend to lose but they know how to adjust so they are always winning. Professional traders have a certain amount of percentage of profit and it will not go beyond it.

If you want to be a trader. Learn the necessary things you need in trading FIRST. Learn how to be emotionless in trading.

the ones that earn big in trading is the exchange and the whales. exchange earn on every transaction no matter what. whales have large sum that they can manipulate prices and do pumps and dumps.  those who dont have inside info dont have any idea and are in disadvantage side. sometimes doing analysis to predict pruce change doesnt help.
