My hidden gems for this year are 3  i know nobody is going to pay any attention..but still for me they are gems!
The first one is HPB, they said they want to make a scalable coin similar to ethereum for dapps and that they will achieve their target with hardware accelaration chips that they will provide to their nodes..every coin wants scalability but at least they can provide information on how they will achieve it. They have announced official partnerships with okex, wbg(world bank group), Unionpay smart ( a kid company of Union pay which is handling data of Union pay and not transactions dont be confused). Even if the main net is not here yet we cant deny their partnerships which in my point of view is giving them some extra + for the time being.. Mid marketcap around 70 million $.
The second one is TTT trustnote, this is a coin using DAG similarly to byteball not IOTA or NANO and by this i mean that it has fees. They plan to implement easy to use smart contracts and make the coin minable as for now it is not. Low marketcap about 8 million $.
The last one is XXX adultchain this is a coin for "adults" similar to coins like vice ( or verge muahahahah), it is a masternode and pos coin (with privacy as well similar to pivx as it is soft fork of it great plus for adult industry ) with their own platform, this platform is a marketplace to buy adult staffs and to hosting cam shows..recently they had girls like brenna sparks and scarlet raven for testing it. Very low marketcap about 700.000$.

No one is talking about a real gem that has a small market cap and a price less than 50 cents. Thats what we need to get to 10 or 20x. Im considering kubera coin

Didn‘t know Alphacat before but looks very interesting to me. I will do some more research but the post has already many good insights. Also the marketcap of far less than 1 Mio and the coin supply less than 10 Mio are two factors that should propel the price once it‘s really gets moving. The only bummer for me is that it is around already since 2014 and got only listed at one exchange, cryptopia...

Several 2018 gems are already beginning to shine.

As far as I’m concerned one of the few that’s still truly “hidden” is Alphacat (ACAT) on KuCoin. Solid dev team with filed patents, active twitter handle, and detailed roadmap to develop an AI trading marketplace.  Easy to see this gem is being heavily accumulated right now as newly recently roadmap is circulated and new rounds of beta are opened up.

What about Howdoo? I think you should look it. Howdoo is a decentralized social platform for users, content creators, and advertisers. It can be the next Facebook.

I didn‘t anything that went 1000x in the recent months, but that might have been due to the fact that we were in a long bear market or I missed some super small cap ones that were not even tracked by cmc, do you have examples?

Agreed, If you want to find true hidden gems you need to do the heavy research yourself instead of asking other people.  That's if your looking for those very rare 1000x cryptos that are always out there lurking.

POA is doing there first cross-chain trans. thursday the 10th live, lots of potential for growth if all goes well. hard not to bullish at this point on this project.
