Online gambling is now more popular and has found a place for gamblers so that they can play gambling by hiding their identity.
Maybe some of our close friends have never played gambling but who knows, they play gambling and can win more than us and especially if they play online gambling.

I had a friend that used to be an introvert, he doesn't join us in conversations but it doesn't mean that he doesn't enjoy the conversations. When we discuss odds and betting he will keep mute and other of my friends were not happy at that as they see him pretending to be a Saint. Whenever we have winnings we will announce and go drinking with part of the money. Unknown to us that our introvert friend bets online and wins big.
He called me one day and showed to be, I was very shocked and then I kept it to myself without letting the other of my friends know. Online gambling can actually save you alot and including privacy.

the most visible contrast (between gambling addicts and not) is that those addicts no longer have logic and will always make wrong decisions, I have seen many cases where when addicts who borrow money cannot pay, the addict's family is Bills, the history of gambling also tells that many gamblers in the past committed crimes and even deceit just to be able to fulfill their gambling desires. gambling with responsibility will never be done by gambling addicts forever.

According to the article, It is believed that gambling, wagering, betting, and gaming predate the invention of writing and have their origins in the late Paleolithic era (roughly 2.5 million years ago to 10,000 B.C.). Back when we lived in caves or huts and hunted and gathered. We also gambled! There is no way to know exactly how old gambling is, but it seems to have existed almost as long as humans have.

We present here a timeline of how and when gambling developed from actual evidence unearthed or later from written accounts. We end up where we are today.

3000 BC – A pair of dice was recovered from an Egyptian tomb dating back 5000 years.


2300 BC – In Ancient China, small wooden tiles were discovered that appear to have been used for a lottery. Evidence of keno ‘slips’ has also been found.
200 BC – Lotteries were used to fund state works, possibly even the Great Wall of China, and they still serve that purpose today. Did you know that lottery funds were used to build Harvard and Yale? --I didn't know this either .
500 BC - Sophocles mentions dice for the first time in Greek history, despite dice having been around for millennia already. It is clear that the Ancient Greeks and Romans loved gambling and even had gods and goddesses dedicated to gambling and fortune, as did many other cultures.
800 AD – the first playing cards appeared in China in the 9th century, although they bore no resemblance to cards used today, and how the game was played is lost to history.
1400s - Baccarat was first played during this time period and was first mentioned when it made its way from Italy to France. Since then, the rules have changed many times, and the game we know today originated in Cuba via Britain.
1600s – there are a number of games from this period that can be claimed as the forerunners of blackjack, although the French game vingt-et-un is the most obvious. Early French settlers brought blackjack to the US. In the 1930s, Nevada casinos offered a special promotion that gave the name ‘blackjack’ to the game. 10 to 1 odds were paid out if the player won with a black Jack of Clubs or Spades together with an Ace of Spades. The odds are long gone, but the name stuck.


1796 – Roulette made its debut in the gaming houses of Paris. Originally the wheel had two green zeros, the very one now referred to as the American Roulette wheel. Theory is the only basis we know when, where is gambling start. But most of us did not know what is the exact date when the gambling starts, where is the place surround the globe starts gambling.  Because for sure before researchers determine that specific year is the start of gambling  there's are many country who actually do such thing but they didn't know that is actually gambling. Maybe from the first family here in the world doing gambling .

I like to read from people who reason like me. No one could know the actual starting date of gambling, it must have started even when the first gamblers did not know what they were doing or what it was being called then. There is a lot that is being assumed in this modern day but the true history has been lost. While some popular established facts are being refuted by researchers/scientists after many decades and centuries of misconceptions. This means that much of the historical documentation, in which gambling is among might not be the actual truth.

I like to read from people who reason like me. No one could know the actual starting date of gambling, it must have started even when the first gamblers did not know what they were doing or what it was being called then. Hey guys did you know that the Greek poet Sophocles claimed that dice were invented by a mythological hero during the siege of Troy?  While all forms of gambling – including dice games – were forbidden within the ancient city of Rome and when caught the penalty is 4 times their staking bet.  And with this reason, the Roman Citizen invented the first gambling chip.[1]

We can't precisely guess the exact age of gambling. However, the stone shown in the picture of 3000BC isn't apparent to justify itself as a gambling dice, and the same goes for 2300 BC and 200 BC. So nothing is clear to point out those items as gambling stuff. There can be some margin of possibility for the rest of the others. However, gambling is very advanced in the current ERA, but you must learn the technicalities of gambling.

Wow! The ancient Egyptians were already playing dice 3,000 years ago. Even a six sided dice is the same as it is today. Perhaps the Egyptians weren't the first to invent dice either. In any case, it's a very interesting fact.

That is some rare finding!  I always thought that the first image is the dice used by ancient people, having you present the fact that six-sided dice is already been used 3000 years before the common era (BCE) is quite a news to me.

That makes me look at how the dice design evolved.  Here is the sample dice used in a certain era.
