i told them that someone introduced me to this forum bitcointalk that if they want to know more about bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large that they should join the forum and gain more knowledge about it,

You can still know more about Bitcoin without being on the forum. The forum is just one of those mediums where Bitcoin is discussed. Some other places where you can learn about Bitcoin include reading books. Andreas Antonopoulos has a great book on  Mastering Bitcoin. He also has a YouTube channel that is focused on Bitcoin. We have numerous internet forums where Bitcoin is also discussed. You can learn about Bitcoin through a podcast and many other ways. Just say in case one day the forum is inaccessible, you will know of the other means of learning about Bitcoin.

He came up with this question 'why is the identity of the bitcoin founder (Satoshi Nakamoto) remained unknown'?,  i will be very glad if any of the high ranked members can provide us with the answer so we can add it to our knowledge too. thanks.
Satoshi saw the future and knew that if he were here, there would be a popularity contest between his identity and Bitcoin. He probably knew the nature of humans and the government institutions: they'll always look for the fall guy when people start to blame his invention, Bitcoin, for the collapse of their economy or the increase in crime, among other things. Stepping aside was to save his invention. Please follow the links provided and read more about it. My answer is just from my own understanding.

why is the identity of the bitcoin founder (Satoshi Nakamoto) remained unknown

Simply because he was privacy conscious and because he wanted to remain anonymous.
Plus, since in those days Bitcoin was worthless, just a cool technology known by very few, it was not so difficult to stay low.

It may worth mentioning that when Gavin said that he will go to present the early bitcoin to CIA, next step was Satoshi disappearing forever.
In this contexts there were ideas that if he would have been known his life may have been in danger, for example.

Identity of Satoshi Nakamoto (he, she, they) is still unknown.

If you want to do your research, you need to read many documents, topics.
I gathered every Satoshi Nakamoto thread.

Some people believe Hal Finney is Satoshi Nakamoto but Jameson Lopp proved Hal Finney is not Satoshi Nakamoto.
Hal Finney Was Not Satoshi Nakamoto

About Hal, Bitcoin and me

Be careful that you are doing something that violates forum rules, doxxing.
Should speculation about satoshi's identity be subject to doxxing rules?

This might look very crazy, but it is very important that i know it, i was having a friendly chat with my bosom friend and some of our fellow students, and we were discussing on how to manage our funds and how to make proper investment without fear of scammers and other related criminal effects on the invested funds.

While still deliberating on the issue i told them that i have already invested in bitcoin and some other Altcoins, i also made it very clearer to them that cryptocurrency is the only way out for financial freedom considering the lingering economic crisis. more still, i told them that someone introduced me to this forum bitcointalk that if they want to know more about bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large that they should join the forum and gain more knowledge about it, they all accepted but one of them came up with a shocking question which i cannot answer and i know that some of the newbies like me do not know the answer too to the question and that was why i decided to bring it here .
