These groups do *not* control the world. They have money and get a lot of advantages but they don't *control* the world.

That you fear a fictional entity like this says a lot about your own paradigm - and how susceptible you are to group think, hive mind, crowd conformity, willing servitude, and self imposed victimization.
The very people the Illuminati were originally supposed to be are the exact opposite of people who believe to this day the Illuminati exist. Actually, they do.
