You’re right. Politicians are still the biggest liars living in Earth. They will do everything to look like convincing, but in reality everything they say are just coming from a thin air, as they cannot be reliable in every word that comes out from their mouth.

Donald Trump is never an exception. There’s no way that he can shift his perspective about bitcoin in just a blink of an eye. I’d rather believe in made up lies from a salon beautician or a passenger driver rather than falling into the traps of these greedy politicians.

If it was that easy to change, should've done it a long time ago right? I mean the only reason why I think he's saying all of this good things about bitcoin is because he needs the votes from our community, no other reason I can think of besides that, politicians are known to be lying to their teeth anyway so what difference is this one when things like this happens, what I want when a politician is speaking about this is that they do the praise when they're in the position already and that they're already doing all they can to create a legislation that helps or supports the people that are a part of the bitcoin community.

Politicians! What are you waiting from these category of people, they are only doing politic which is something very known about lies, changing statements, doing everything to win a vote and manipulating people for their own good before serving the real case they stand with. Every politician in this world has a dark side and negative things, however, when these people are serving the benefits of their people before themselves we may say they are good.

Donald trump changing his side is only for his own good, gaining votes because in 2019 he didn’t believe that many people would support crypto and Bitcoin. Now, it is a different story so he easily changed his mind without any explanation and that’s a normal and commun thing with politicians.

For people who wants to give him the benefit of the doubt and try to excuse his past behavior about bitcoin by saying he has changed, you are correct.

He has changed because now bitcoin can actually benefit him. He didn’t see any benefit back then but he does now that’s why he is leeching to bitcoin and cryptocurrency really hard. But if in the rare case he truly has changed and genuinely supports bitcoin then that is a win for us. In the meantime, don’t fall too much for his promises.

I don't really trust politicians because they can say anything they like and change what they have said, but let me just believe that Donald trump was once ignorant like every bitcoiner when they had no knowledge about Bitcoin. Whether Donald trump is reall about what it thinks about bitcoin at the moment won't change anything about Bitcoin,  it has come to stay and will keep on having more awareness. Let's not judge trump for understanding bitcoin better now because there are some leaders who were against bitcoin before but today they are core bitcoiners that doesn't joke wit bitcoin.

Whether we do like their words in favor of crypto or not. We know how these politicians act in the times of their need. Yes, this is the time of their need, they need to gather massive votes for their campaign and election. That's all what they are asking. Even with criminals, they're going to tell how much they love them and how they're planning to give them a better program once they get out of prison or while they're staying there. All of those sweet and convincing words they're going to say in all of those communities that they want to get as much votes as they can. But later on, once the election is done whether it's Trump or Biden or whoever gets elected, they'll turn their way and will reason out that there are so much to deal with aside from what they have promised before.

You are not a fan boy of Bitcoin unless you own a Bitcoin. Can Trump admit that he own some Bitcoin, I bet no because he will see it as stain to his political ambition but he want donations, lmao.
The people that you claim once don't like Bitcoin aren't politicians but investors with reputations in the traditional finance and are always ready to go down one on one to defend Bitcoin, no politicians will dare do that my friend.

I'm not talking like a politician but speaking like a Bitcoin maximalist who don't care about politics and their manipulate ways to use Bitcoin to shield thier ways into office and then change later like Chameleon, that's scam.

If anyone will have to trust Donald Trump for anything relating to his bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large promises then, he or she doesn't know how politicians can be. In the words of Machiavelli and Malcolm X "politics is getting into power by all means necessary" so from this statement one should be convinced that Donald and his team are only trying to get into power with all means even if it takes them to go against their personal desires just to reach the position.

If he hadn't hate bitcoin, then the twitter wouldn't have existed, now he claims to be a supporter and even accept bitcoin lightening for his campaign donations. Politicians!

People should have already seen through his facade. It was obvious from the start that his “support” of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies was nothing but a ploy to gain more money and voters. He is capitalizing off the fact that most bitcoin holders are mad at Biden for what he has done in his time about crypto. Now people think or at least crypto enthusiasts that Trump is a better choice than Biden.

Wake up, people! These politicians are playing you all like a fiddle. Stop praising them and see them for what they are: liars and opportunists.

You're very much correct, this is how they have always been seen, whereby they can make use of anything in taking advantage in other tlfor them to gain a political attraction for their ambition, but we cannot say how genuine his intentions maybe be now concerning bitcoin, we may as well play to disregard the past and focus on the present since things are bound to change, but the Internet archive will always bring back to us our hunting shadows of the things we have said in the past, I believe some have dig deeper in his case to have found out this, but I don't expect it by any means to be a counter attack over his current stand for Bitcoin.

Politicians will always be politicians.
I'd rather believe a donkey than the words of a politician. By now everyone in the community shouldn't act like they can't see, understand and discern what's happening. I am not against anyone donating to his campaign. Do it because you want to and not because you think he's going to change his stance on Bitcoin. Take whatever he's saying about Bitcoin and what he'll do in the community with a pinch of salt.

But this was old Trump. He is now supporting bitcoin to get votes from crypto enthusiasts. There are people that have also spoken bad about bitcoin in the past. Even Michael Saylor tweeted bad about bitcoin before in 2012 or so before he realized the truth when he understood what bitcoin is.

This is not about candidate choice or who you support but I want to inform you that all Politicians don't care about Bitcoin or anything concerning crypto, it has always been their political career and how they can get to the office and make their goals and nothing more. This is why you shouldn't give them your Bitcoin, you will suffer later if their policy doesn't favour Bitcoin.

Last week and this week, there has been a discussion about Donald Trump being referred to as "Crypto president" and I see that as a big fat lie, he is nothing but just one of the candidates like others who is soliciting support from different communities and Bitcoin is just one of them.

Fact check me, Donald Trump was the president of the United States between 2017-2022, and guess what, Bitcoin had one of the most crucial and worst moments in these years, the Covid-19 market breakdown and fear among Bitcoin investors when Bitcoin did as low as -45 % in one day but when this guy was asked about Bitcoin, he said all sort of bad things about Bitcoin, this was before and after Bitcoin has recovered from all these losses. Now walk with me with the things he has said;

He is not the only candidate guilty of this part, all the other candidates contesting are now accepting crypto donations from people. However, the moment they reach the office, they act like it was never them that was campaigning and asking for help from poor holders. They don't care about you and this is why you should never donate your Bitcoin to anyone because your Bitcoin will be sold on the market and will continue with their games.
