I went for option "it's a way to spend my free time" because it's the one that most resembles to a hobby, which is how I see gamble, but of course that's it's also a way for me to try my luck, and since I usually prefer "skill gambling" like poker or sports betting, it's also a way to test my skills and to try to win money. Although I'm not obsessed by it, and I'm definitely not a pro, so it's still just a hobby to me.
Simple reason for me to gamble is try my luck and make some money,I know we can't make money in long term ut still trying the luck and make some billions one day in my life. 
It is good to just try your luck in gambling, the important thing there is that you should be able to make a decision after that trying your luck. A lot of gamblers may won their gambling games but you should not be risking your money into it. Knowledge and skills can be learner but luck is out of the question. You can still earn billions amd billions of money in the future if you will be focussing on things that will really give you and generate for you a good profit.
I mean to say it will be even good if you never touch gambling even for the reason of trying out your luck. Just stay completely unaware of gambling that is the only option to stay happier in this world without having any problems of gambling.

It means if you go for gambling you will have hopes to win some money along with finding entertainment and if you are busy in your life, you will forget such an entertainment. A first step toward responsible gambling must be realizing the purpose of why we are gambling. It should not be due to any silly reasons like easy availability nor generating income stream. The second step must be how successful with our key reason. There will be no meaning of continuing something where we are not successful.
Yes, we must gamble only for a valid reason and we must continue gambling only if are getting what we are actually planning to achieve with gambling. Plan for your gambling and stick with your gambling plans or else simply quit it.
I kind of feel sad that a lot of people voted 'to earn money' and 'to try luck', because I am almost sure they'll be disappointed...
1. A one-time only thing when a person is not a gambler, but want's to risk it and win at any game. If that turns out well and the person doesn't return to that place again, that's a victory.
2. A professional skilled sports better, poker player or maybe another card game player. This person doesn't really care about specific wins and losses. She/he does research and practices, gambling is a job here.
I know the risk of gambling, it will make you loss eventually BUT !!
When I see people win massively , when there are massive promo , sometimes attract me to do something about it.
So when I try to gamble , I know that I'm going to loss but I'm also curious about my luck so I keep gamble for some time !
I believe that's what they call addiction. You want to win and you know you're gonna lose and yet you keep coming. You hope that this time eerything will be different, this time you'll win. To be honest, before, my goal was to really earn money. But thankfully, I was able to learn it early that I won't or I will be really having a hard time if that is my goal because there is always the house edge advantage.
However, I still do gamble sometimes, but these times, I only do it for fun especially if my team is playing. I gamble in basketball game.

Why not you just try tossing a coin in your free time to find some entertainment along with trying "the accuracy" of your luck ? No one will do that. If there will be no chances of winning some money, I am sure there would not have been an industry in the name of gambling as everyone will busy in tossing a coin in their home or just playing the game chess against self.
I could just as easily find something else to do.

That's a big dream, I am hoping you'll be successful in chasing your dream.Well, every gambler does gamble to make money and actually as a gambler we do love the thrill because easy win is boring, I'm you all with agree with that. We may have different range in terms of amount gambled but we are in one purpose which is to win.

But there are some people who use gambling as a place to spend money, whether it's because they like gambling or gambling they can restore their feelings. I have friends like that, he has a business and every week he always goes to gamble. I did not understand what he was thinking, but certainly he had found a place to have fun.
Seeing the environment around me only experiencing gambling is just to fill my spare time if we are indeed gathering, but for those who gamble every day which means they are gambling addicts, I am sure it is those who gamble for money.

Whenever I do, I set a limit (an amount I'd be willing to lose), and I simply play for fun. The excitement of winning big is obviously a motivator, but financially I know it's not a smart idea to attempt to gamble for "profit"

It's a mix of both money and fun. I don't know about you, but I just don't get the same rush gambling with tokens that have no value on a free virtual casino game where I have nothing to lose and nothing to gain versus gambling with money that I have saved specifically for gambling where I care whether I win or not. It's just not the same thing. I don't gamble only for the money, but it's not only for fun at the same time either. It's not really one or the other for me.
When you are unable to catch same level of excitement with tokens on a free virtual casino, I guess you are gambling only for money and not for fun at all. Because, I am a gambler I find myself with all the environments the same. Yes, I do forget where I am once I get started with any type of gambling regardless of it is a real casino or a virtual one. On both of gambling casinos, I always want to win to get the maximum benefits but with virtual casino, just a congratulations message is the final result but I do not care that.Finding all the excitements of gambling regardless of where we are playing is good but most of the time my friends have warned me against getting addiction because the level I do enjoy and want to go for gambling more frequently. Finding fun from gambling is also having its own risks.

The main reason which is money is the biggest problem actually . Beacuse due to which people lose so much money in gambling and thus also have so many side effects like addiction , borrowing of money etc . Instead of gambling is done for fun it is more better and not to lose money too.

Greed control over people and it's always exist as long as humanity exist. People want to be rich in instant way so gambling is the way for some people although they must overcome the risk.

I am sure that in out there, many people using cryptocurrency and fiat to earn money and like you said, we all like money, and we are trying to make money in many ways. Gambling was another ways for us to trying to earn money, but we have another option to earn money, and it's better to use the other way to make money. Besides that, we know that to earn money in gambling is not easy and only a few people that can earn money and they cannot always earn in every time they played gambling.

There are a lot of other things that can make people addicted to gambling and the most reason and most common, obviously is to earn easily money on casinos or gambling sites. There are a lot of people that is successful, as we can see them appearing on shows or tournaments, some of them are having their own businesses thanks to their gambling luck but there are most of them that don't get lucky and still hoping to win a lot of money like the others.

Yes, no matter how small the profits and how much pleasure in gambling, but still the main thing is to get money or profits in gambling.
