Not needed at all, if there was financial educations in all the schools, i think that more than 8 out of 10 teenagers would be the next Warren Buffet at this moment. The system is trying to make people stay out of the economics, to try to turn us into slaves who wanna work for $800 a month.

I think that financial things are not so difficult to learn - there's no need in a special subject about it in school...short course - maybe, yes

It should be seriously addressed by any government that has any idea to improve.

Should they? You have Internet. Educate yourself!

The lack of financial education in general is a worrying problem. We teach students about literature, maths, science, ... and we tell them that those are the things they need to know in life. Yet usually, the largest single expense they will have on their lives is a house, and that normally comes with a mortgage. Yet, only a few schools will tell them what should they be expecting, the risks and the consequences of such a contract.

Bitcoin and alts is another case in which people are carefully kept in ignorance by the governments and lobbies.

What can we do to make more people interested in economy and finance and to better educate the youth so that they don´t get ripped-off?
lack of education that I think does not affect in the pursuit of bitcoin. because the bitcoin is a must try in getting it not only financial education.

Financial education is really important at all ages because it will teach us how we should manage our salaries or income. This will prevent us from having no savings and having too much debt. A person who does not know how to manage their finances will never get rich. Because of whatever how much you earn, but then you can't handle your income properly, it won't let you have savings or even investments.

I believe that the best education you can take yourself through self-education, constant reading of literature on economics and finance. In schools, children are prepared for a life that does not exist. They are not given the knowledge that they really need in life. About cryptocurrencies if you do not start teaching, then you need to help friends, acquaintances get knowledge.

Yes, man. Even if you did not get the financial education in a high school, you can learn a lot when studying different special literature, watching video on this topic and whatnot. If you trade, you have to do it.

Yes, the current education of our country is quite pragmatic, it teaches us the theory that can not be applied to practice. This is proved by the way education is not properly taught unnecessary knowledge, do not teach people how to use the money properly. Thus, making the economy more and more crisis

We tend to flow the system we want to engage upon for us to earn and to have a time to gain profit. But in order for us to make this happen we formally need to learn and to find a ways for us to educate ourselves and to develop our skills. And education is the key. Not necessarily a formal way of education it could either be a formal or an informal way of learning for us to earn.

Probably people don't care about financial education and it's okay. When it will be necessary everyone will get knowledge but now everyone can use it.

If we are just eager enough to learn things about financial aspect, there are really lots of useful tools to use. It depends on how we deal with it. Internet is a helpful tool for us to gain knowledge about financial education. However, simple strategies could also be helpful for is to earn better.

The lack of financial education is due to poverty and marginalization. It depends on the governance and assistance the government provides for the people. If the country is progressive, the more benefits the government could offer to the citizens. However, the development of the country also depends on the people (no. of employed and non-employed). It is very ironic. I wonder if how could it be answered.

Education starts from family. We cannot wait for the government to include that in the subjects in school. It is the duty of the parents to inculcate in the heart and mind of a child on how to become a goos person which includes the proper budgeting and handling of money.

I agree. And if in the early stages of life this is missed, self-education will help. On the Internet there is a lot of information on financial literacy

Families or the parents itself can educate their children. It this part of their duty to let their children know the value of money and savings for their future. Teaching them on how to be vigilant in doing money transactions.

this can be very risky for investment. because in the business and investment world, a lesson about finance is essential for proper learning when making a decision. as is happening right now, people who have a good financial education will continue to hold their coins, and not panic sell.

it is difficult to invite people to study economics and finance let alone the children because maybe that is in your head mind is a variety of formulas and financial terms that can only be understood by adults, Actually, financial education from an early age is needed so that children can manage their lives well . as Jay Broekman said "We do not need to teach children with theories alone.Economic and financial theories they will certainly get in school. What we need to do is demonstrate the practice of financial management in real so that children more easily understand the concept of financial lesson" Any way you do to teach the child the concept of finance, remember that the Son is a human being who can make mistakes. They may not be able to fit in a certain way so that your teaching results are not as expected. It is your duty as parents to guide and teach them in the most appropriate way according to the child's condition.

lack of education itself is a major problem. this is why other countries aren't as progressive as performing countries. the economic growth/development is so slow. the government is crap and most of them are corrupt! this is one major problem in my country and it really sucks, there are so many natural resource the government are ruining and actually selling! education is a right, everyone should get it.

The lack of financial education can make many changes in the trading and investment like those people who have much capital and if you want to invest in this currency and this is good for me to have the financial knowledge and through this way we have to manage our income and expense and in this way we can become investor of this currency.
