The lack of financial education in general is a worrying problem. We teach students about literature, maths, science, ... and we tell them that those are the things they need to know in life. Yet usually, the largest single expense they will have on their lives is a house, and that normally comes with a mortgage. Yet, only a few schools will tell them what should they be expecting, the risks and the consequences of such a contract.

Bitcoin and alts is another case in which people are carefully kept in ignorance by the governments and lobbies.

What can we do to make more people interested in economy and finance and to better educate the youth so that they don´t get ripped-off?
Of course, the lack of financial education is sometimes a problem for young people and in some cases does not allow for a financially sound decision, I think that it is necessary to talk a lot and teach our children how to make a decision and what you need to pay attention to in making this decision .

I really agree to this thing because every countries have their own programs and most of the countries have free education for the people who are poor or in the low class of lifestyle so they will be having an opportunity to get into education and learn a lot of things with that program and maybe some of them will become the new leaders of our world.

Literature, maths, science and others are the necessary minimum which provides multifaceted personal development. That would be unacceptable to deny 'em.

It's not that bad, I'm sure that no member here is like you say ..

I'm one of the less educated people, but my brain works fast for exact calculations.

In mathematics I was not too bad at trading.

Anyway there is no education about the lack of finances, it is their way of life as long as they are still trying to be sure they can get what they want to get.

They are also not interested in finance and economics, what they need is what kind of life will bring change to them.

For people like them if we let them know the development of cripto mukin money they can also provide the best information in the development of cripto money.

In our country, the lack of finance education is the 3rd problem of our country. Lack of funds is the reason in our education even the budget is exactly in the government if how they use it . and the other reason is why the lack of classrooms and teachers at public school is that many students in private school are moving to public school because of the tuition is increasing every year. And of course the lack books.

This is true. Most teenagers in this generation are lack of financial skills. Most of the subjects being taught in schools are those philosophies and other academic ones but no focused on financial literacy. If this continue to happen, then people would just prefer working in a company like a slave rather than putting their own business.

Financial education is needed but it will not be coming from the government. It would be from our own hard work and determination on how to become financially educated. Meaning we are responsible un creating our goal to financial stability.

Many people always blame the government, but with limited funds of course not much can be done by the government, I think everyone is responsible about financial education, and as parents of course that is the main task to the child.

the lack of financial education, Imagine the brightest kid in class, who could someday land a six-figure job at a bank, ending up broke by the time he’s just 30. It’s a bleak vision for a young individual with so much potential, but for many, such a future looms on their horizon.Financial illiteracy is a global pandemic. Young, old, men, women, blue collar workers and even white collar professionals, rush through life in a feverish and frenetic pace, neglecting the signs of their poor financial health.
If you feel that you too may have this financial “flu”, it’s not something to feel surprised about, neither is it worth the self-torment. It’s just a reality for the majority of people today.
Financial literacy is the confluence of financial, credit and debt management and the knowledge that is necessary to make financially responsible decisions – decisions that are integral to our everyday lives. ... A lack of financial literacy is not a problem only in emerging or developing economies.

The lack of financial education depends on the Government's system.
All people should be aware about the economy and financial stability and non stability of their nation. They should always be engaged on the various occurrences each and every day. However, it is the people's account on how to be informed and to assimilate these occurrences. But how? Learning starts in our homes. The parent's should give pre-education to their children. What's the function of the Government? They must feed the whole country with education and encourage everyone to embrace education.
