Just wanted to clear one of my doubts. How are you going to differentiate between a failed project and a scam? Or in simple words, how are you going to label a failed project as a scam? Trust me, it is going to be very difficult. I am someone who participated in a number of bounty campaigns, which never paid any rewards. Most of them claim that the project failed to kickoff, despite the promoters doing whatever they could.

To date, there are a lot of projects that have not yet fully manifested themselves and therefore would not want to draw premature conclusions. The fact is that there are a lot of problems in the cryptocurrency market and therefore it is difficult to attract investment funds, it is difficult to list on rating exchanges and it is often impossible to interest cryptocurrency users and draw their attention to your project. But if you look a little into the past, you can see a huge number of projects that, after 1 year, 2 years or more, look very dead. An example is AmbrelaCoin, UAHPAY, StaffGoGo, IMMLA, Play2Live, Galaxy, AstorGame, Sobit, BitRase, SportsFix and many others.

Xcard CEO is making progress, I suggest to check their telegram channel today if you promoted this bounty project, development are on going and it's clear that no ICO or IEO for this project, this makes it sounds interesting, to me ICO or IEO hunts makes me feel the team are going after the fund

I don't think Xcard scammed already. They had no ICO or IEO, i heard they have plan for an IEO in Probit exchange after the Covid19 pandemic! Maybe bounty hunter still can give them a chance before spreading scam news about Xcard!

The main question is when this pandemic will end, no one knows about that dude. When there are so many projects are still running and that doesn't make sense to see xcard hold its development progress.
i may think that's a crap project.

If the team of xcard claimed to be a good project and why isn't it running the crowdsale?

I think it will hurt more if you guys just keep opening a dry wounds, what happened has happened, learn to move on, there is nothing left for newbies to learn from these scam projects, rather make lists of how they can avoid scam bounty projects

There are a lot of projects from 2017 that have turned into scams and there will be many more things going to happen in a few years if cryptocurrencies are still active..When more than 95% of projects are scams, so please Look at successful projects and how they operate everything to get good project ideas.

There are many scam projects, if counting from 2019 until now, I believe that more than 100 bounty is scam. So it is difficult for us to list them in detail
Maybe even more than that, because there are some projects that only launch airdrop and there is no bounty campaign in this forum. Because I see almost every day a new project pops up when I see an updated telegram channel about bounties, contexts, or airdrop. We as participants must be more selective in choosing to avoid being exposed to scams.

1. Yes wallet
2. Avxchange
3. Dispatch
4. Xcard
5. Storichain
6. Pchain
7. Miracletele

Here are few I can remember, the lists is very long but can't remember them anymore, I don't blame those that quit bounty because if you sit down and recall all your precious time you wasted on these scam projects you will feel discouraged

You are right, just they conducted the bounty promotions in order to get awareness about the project IEO, so we have to wait and see after Covid19 whether they will take action for IEO, even I won't consider probit IEO is best because we have seen many scams which are listed for IEO in profit exchange.

I didn't see any update about this project. And no update about their private sale since start at 23 October 2019.
This bounty already end and no information from Bounty Manager about when the distribution bounty rewards. How you think this project not scam ?
as far as the information that I got on the telegram, after the API for tokenization is ready (1-week estimation since 18 may 2020) they will make a final on the wallet app and will open a waiting list for the first user.
Well, the development of XCARD can be said to be very slow, in fact, I also think that they are just buying time. but we might need to wait for a few more moments.

There are lots of scammy projects that have come and gone and many are still preparing to come out. I don't think it's easy to detect scam projects too.

Airwallet already scammed? Can't believe they left the community. This was Korean based project and they looked professional at the first stage! Bounty participants earned huge money from this bounty campaign! This is why no new altcoin should be trusted. All are a scam, soon or later!

I heard with insure bounty campaign have been scam because with lower price and little reward for distribution, right now they have been pause bounty campaign after running several weeks, bad result for participants because they are waiting for reward and coin have been listed on exchange market before.

There are so many projects here on Bitcointalk that turned scam and abandon projects. I guess 90 percent of the bounties here on Bitcointalk is not really good and have no future at all.
This sentiment tells something that many people are trying to take advantage of the market and find its way as the best strategy to accumulate money by way of scamming. But unfortunately, people are learning already with this kind of trick and that is why we can see a lot of unsuccessful projects exist in the market today.

It surely there is a lot more coming and a long list to see in the coming days. In fact, I'd never see some of those OP's list until it has been listed.
I could say that, the increasing numbers of exposing scam projects will give a huge factor to crypto and that it cleaned up and let the legit ones stay.

Some members here made a list, some of it has a bounty and some does not have but it is important to know which projects are scam. Here are the threads, there is a huge list thanks for these guys for compiling it.

Thank you for mentioning my scam list, I always appreciate any effort towards fighting against shady cryptocurrency projects and fraudelent bounties. From my point of view, many projects on this forum and outside it didn't turned scam.

I mean they were scam from the very beginning. Bounty campaigns are often used by scammers to promote their project for free. We can't consider native tokens of any project as valid payment until project is successful.

If project is scam from the beginning, then it doesn't matter for scammers how much to pay bounty hunters. You never know whether bounty campaign is legit or not, and again it doesn't actually matter - in most cases - scammers are scammers from the beginning or they're not good enough to maintain new project on severe market like this.

Here is the same. There should be a Regulation for Every Bounty Campaign to Continue the Bounty until the ICO completed. Some of them are closed even before the ICO. So our Time and Effort are getting useless each time.

Therefore we would like to kindly request from Bitcointalk Team please arrange a Procedure or Regulation to overcome this problem soon.
