This is true and the reason is, if a bounty lasts longer, there is a high chance that more bounty hunters will become aware and decide to participate in the bounty and as such the reserved bounty tokens will be distributed amongst many participants leading to sometimes a severe reduction in tokens received by the hunters. This is the major reason as to why longer bounties return smaller rewards compared to shorter bounties.

in light of the expanded individuals that are in this bitcointalk forum so the outcomes we get are littler and now is the blessing that we are following the littler income despite the fact that more days the gifts are in the discussion

Yeah it might happen that way but not always, since a lot entails your earnings on a bounty. Those with higher ranks are not affected that much only lower rank members does.

I do not agree about it, there are instances that the longer the bounty the hithe profit or the earninings. But this assumption is not always right, it is still depends on the campaign.

Yes, i agree it always depends on the campaign whether their project are really promising and or its a kind of project which their has a lot of phases cathegory. But for most its all your decision whether to continue or not if you feel that the teams and admin has no longer made a good strategy to make it work then you already smell the possibility of cheap price ahead.

Actually this statement is correct, but of course there are exceptions.
If there are no new entrants in time, it may be worthwhile to take part in a bounty that lasts longer.
Moreover, it must be assumed that most bounty campaigns be extended.

It is true that the longer the bounty the lower the stakes especially when the token allocation to that bounty is not increased, then high ranked members will earn more.

I'm very disappointed when a bounty will go too long and sometimes I took the same decision of your friend and simply I've choosen another project because projects like this loose trust from their investors and hunters.

DeFixy.com - The future of Decentralization
My friend just told me recently that he is leaving the bounty that we both joined last January. The ICO has been delayed many times and it is getting longer. He said that the longer the bounty period of an ICO, the fewer the coins that you will earn. So it is true based from your experience? Should I also leave or stay?

EDIT:

I already knew the amount of money that I earned on this particular bounty. I think the money that I earned is actually good and enough for my waiting. i waited for about 8 months before they release. Actually it is already in my wallet but the token is not listed yet so I can't know for sure the actual price of the token.
I think your friend just did the right decision. If the ICO has been delayed and the bounty is getting longer and longer it is just losing its credibility and It is a safe move to change or to move to other more credible campaign.

Such a case can be really very often. You have been working for a few months at the company of the Baunity, and then it turns out that the project has not raised enough funds and it is closing. You in that case do not get anything for your work.

Nope not really. It depends on how much is the allocated percent of tokens sold will be allocated for bounty campaigns. And also depends on how many participants joined the bounty.
If the campaign is extended then you might notice people leaving the campaign because it affects their schedule.

You should remember a lot of token you earned from bounty not usually means you will get lot of income. There are so many project that the bounty pay the participants with few tokens..

Yes it is true and sometimes they extend their bounty for more weeks or months, many hunters would still join even it is extended and the rewards will be divided and it will decrease.

You are absolutely right. I once participated in a bounty that last for 10 weeks and i had just $40.00, But then there was one project i participated in that last for just 4 weeks and it paid me more than $200, Both campaigns were signature campaigns

Sometimes it's not worth making bounties for so long, the best is to look for smaller projects that last a few months but you are sure they are of good quality, what matters most in this business of bounty hunting is that you get paid, either little or much, if a project does not reach the end and meets its objectives, you will never see that money.

I agree that the longer the bounty, the many stacks of bounty hunters to become and even beginners to add. For me, the bounty must be on a certain date and do not need to be renewed permanently, but if you still extended it, you have to increase its pool of coins. Unfortunately, not all projects meet the deadlines and many extend ico thereby prolonging the bounty although it should not be so.

Most times, it is always very good to put so many things into consideration before participating in the bounty of a project. Time is very essential, so if you cannot wait for long, i would advise that you do not participate in such.

time is not everything. Profits from bounties generally depends on number of participants and not duration, unless if more people join at the end. The lesser the people, the more the profit or proceed.

indeed the situation at this time is experiencing a decline but all of that does not rule out the possibility that profits will not come, that profit will surely come with time, even though the number of participants affects profits, but surely the profits will return as before. just believe, over time it will return, though not completely.
