I dont think its somthing applicable but i know if the campaign is taking too long, it's trying to reach the hard cap. But for me, long campaigns are not good since its hard to think about when will it end and how much will you get.
My friend just told me recently that he is leaving the bounty that we both joined last January. The ICO has been delayed many times and it is getting longer. He said that the longer the bounty period of an ICO, the fewer the coins that you will earn. So it is true based from your experience? Should I also leave or stay?
I do not think that's true, because many projects are getting better and more coins are being distributed.I think the thing that affects the number of tokens distributed is the number or number of participants, because if the participants are few, then each participant will get a large token.
in my opinion you do not go, better wait until all for sure.
It depends on the project and the managers of the Bounty that you joined in. I have a friend who joined a Bounty campaign that was lasted for 3 months. and he got his tokens after 2 months. and he said it's all worth the wait. joining a bounty sometimes is risky.
I want to know when they are going to end? How are their projects going? How are they calculated when their reward task bets? If they do not give a clear answer to the above, then I think you can give up!
It might depend on the percentage of the bounty allocation that is being put into the signature campaign. At some times when the bounty managers realize that the campaign might run for longer than expected, they tend to reduce the weekly stakes so the bounty allocation can last until the end of the bounty campaign.

Not true,it depends on the number of participants,if the bounty has few participants it would be profitable for those few people, on the other hand if the bounty has thousands of participants you wont get much tokens,lastly depends on the outcome of the campaign because more likely successful ICOs will pay you a lot and those who will failed will give you pennies or nothing.

Yes it's true, if that ICO delayed the bounty campaign it means they not gather much investor so they delay it, if that project can't gather much money for minimum softcap your income will so small. It depends on you, if you still believe that ICO can get hard cap you can still join that campaign until it finished.
This topic worries me. I'm participating in such a campaign. I can not leave, because I will not get my reward. And I was tired of carrying out their task.
I don't like long term bounties but I think you should stay in campaign till the end
Yes mate, that's a great idea. Long campaigns are awesome if promises made before the campaign will be fulfilled at the end. Most bounty managers end up cheating participants. 
Actually it's not totally right that long campaign results in poor payment. Bounty budget is fixed. It actually depends on token sell and number of participants of that particular project.
I do not think that there is a direct relationship between the long bounty campaign and the awards for the participants. sometimes a campaign lasting 3 weeks can bring more than 12. However, most often the ratio is maintained.

Agreed. Usually with the extension of the bounty, the same increase in payments to the advertising company. The only thing that can make payments lower is the increase in participants due to the fact that the bounty is long and more people join.

Some bounty campaigns are so long and so many people join, that the rewards become very small. For example Cardstack. Good project, but bounty campaign was so long and my final reward is very disapponting. I expected much more.
Yes it is true, but don't leave try to end the bounty. The longer the bounty campaign the higher the bounty hunter join unless the manager limit the number of participants. If the manager didn't limit the participants you will end up with earning little tokens, but if it is limited you'll get a good reward, that's just it.

It seems to be like that, I`m waiting for the DIW Token bounty payments, it was the longest bounty I have ever participated in, I suppose the earn in that case shoud be at least 10BTC, lol.Jump to:
