Thats what you call provoking the opponents. You can opt to not show your cards after they fold. Thats what I was talking about, to keep your self unpredictable, so that your opponent will never ever guess whenever you have a good cards or bad.

The experience poker players experienced is not a joke, it will be an additional knowledge for them to win games in the future. It is true that through luck, you will be given good set of cards but the way you will play it, it will not depend on the luck you have but on the skill you have as a player.

Well, then if you have a good intuition to read the opponents card by looking at their slightest face and gestural reaction, then consider it as your skill.

Of course skill to play poker does must to be calm and not affected by the emotions when playing, I think its sometimes difficult if the situation is reversed maybe only those who have an patient soul right. The main thing is luck card also yeah just luck.

Those character will allow you to control the outcome, and can win opponents by just provoking them even with bad cards. Then everything left is pure luck.

Do you mean play poker and depend on the luck you have? Is that what you mean? Poker is a game of skill, luck is still in there but mostly, it is all about the skill or the experience you have. It is addicting that is true but that will be the responsibility of the gambler. If they can't afford to gamble, they should not be doing it in the first place.

If it is just poker, I guess yes. The game does require skills you will ultimately hone over time and practice. There still a hint of luck you need because it's a deck of cards being dealt. But since there is bluff, poker face and reading your opponents, you can minimize the effect of luck on your success. There are poker players winning tournaments through bluffs.

Skill is important thing for gambling as when you choose a game whatever it is but you will have to have skills about it, poker is good game but you will have to know how you can become good player, I know some people had bad experience in past but we lose with our own mistake. Never wish to have fast and full profit try to maintain your strategies.

Poker is something where experience plays a vital role in winning the matches as it helps you know a bit about the other players know how and how they play . If you can get the behaviour of other person how they play you can win the matches a bit easier .

Of course, poker requires skill, luck and strategy to win. Even a bad hand can defeat anyone as long as you are playing your card well. As you play longer you will learn how to properly bluff and intimidate other players even if you don't have good cards.

whatever game that requires skills, the longer you play and learn, the better your knowledge and experience will shape your skills dude.
but for poker, we don't deny that luck is also important in this game.

I totally agree on this. There are some that players or gamblers are relying on luck but most of the time, it is experience and skill. Some people are making a debate about this and I think it is not 100% a chance but skill is also essential for a poker player. Most of the games I see is really based on them.

There is no skill in Poker but yes, if there is difference between a player who is playing poker for a long time and a player who has recently started playing poker. Experience do matter, even though gambling is more luck dependent.
You can say that the longer you play poker, then better you understand the rules on how to play poker.

Have be a lover of that game from childhood, and have gathered skills on the game compare to other games. Porker, as you have rightly said, is a game of skills, the longer you play the better you become in the future, so, play porker regularly has some good advantage as the gambler tend to be good in the game.

Of course. Experience plays a big part in poker. You learn how to control your expressions and how to read people's faces, eye movement and mannerisms by playing consistently. You also gather techniques for different hands that may come up. The longer you play the more you add to your skill set.

Experience do really matter in poker yet even though luck would still play a big part of your winning but still its different if you do have the experience on how to read up against
players faces and actions.You can spot it out for those who totally bluff but still having a bad card.The longer you do play the more experience you do gain.

Poker games need skilled gamblers in order for you to win the game but of course, there is always luck in every gambling. So, I think the longer you played will make your experience improve in every game and it is caused high chances of winning. Poker is needed to have a good strategy that full of knowledge.

Poker is one of the only games (in gambling) that I actually consider to be more based on skill than luck (provided it's played in a convention setting, and not against the dealer)

I'd say 50% is luck, 50% is skill, and the better a player you are, the more it becomes skill based vs. luck based.

I think most of the time, as you play, you don't get better at the game itself (card values, etc), but you get better at analyzing people (which IMO is a good trait to have regardless of gambling or not).
