#SWGT PRE-SALE IS LIVE
Snip.
It's not just about positive contributions.

I asked who to be friends with or who to lick ass in order to destroy the reputation of arrogant bastards at the expense of these people.

People who don't talk but act. The people who have leverage here.
What is your reason for bringing back this thread which has been hidden for a long time under other threads that are still actively discussing there.
Who do you ask?
Whose black ass would you like to lick?
Who is the victim and who is sacrificing the reputation of others.?

I think it's useless for you to throw all your anger here without a good reason, who cares about the drama without a title that you throw here without a clear motive and purpose.
It's time for this thread to be locked because there's nothing else to cover here.

I'm very curious as to why you bumped this thread and even more curious about your comment (which seems vitriolic to say the least).

Are you currently involved in some sort of drama?  I recall something involving you, but that was a few months ago if I recall correctly--and I might not be remembering it right at all.  In any case, I think your post needs to be elaborated on.

Influence is regarded as someone having an impact on something or a person in the place where they are referred to as influential people. I've seen a lot of influential people in different sections who are good at it on this forum, and you'll definitely learn from their posts if you're interested in learning in those sections. The more influential people in this forum are the legendary guys who have positively contributed to this forum in many ways. There are many of them to be mentioned in that regards. However, I have observed some lower-ranked users whose impact in the forum was so significant that they offered new ideas to the forum. For example, PowerGlove has risen in such a short period of time due to his ideas and potential improvements to the forum software to make it more user friendly for all forum users. I greatly value his efforts and foresee him to be among the top influential users here very soon.

With this i can boldly adopt anyone who's post made has been insightful, thoughtful and impactful to me personally as an influential person on the forum and we are blessed by a good number of them in which mentioning their names isn't enough in fishing them out but am rest assured that those that consistently contributes to the forum are good asset enough and influential, and also consider yourself being on the lane of giving positive influence as well if you're not in the category of a spammer, shitposter, scammer or an inactive user, then in your own little contributions made, you could stand an inspiration to someone who is reading your post someday.

This might be the longest sentence I've read in my life on this forum. You mention the word influence but don't say who? why? how? I would say you are posting for sig campaign, but you're not in a campaign.

Why call you out then? Well mainly because you mention spammers n shitposters and this post of yours fits in both categories. Please try to do better.

Tell  who you think is influential and why.

https://bpip.org/Report?r=mostmerit

Users from this list best fit the description.
As expected, I saw most of those I believe to be influential on top. The only one I didn't find where I expected in the top 10 was TryNinja. That user's BTT SuperNotifier is a marvel for me.

I never knew there's a user (e_o_l_e_o) who could top LoyceV and also had more merits than them. A user who has this must be a robot then 🤗, judging by how active and contributive LoyceV has been.

Users like:
CryptoprenuerBrainboss is one hell of a dude whose forthrightness I admire. He has consistently shown leadership acumen at our local board (Oga theymos, abeg do make you give us this board). The Pharmacist, who's act of tough discipline comes paradoxically with tender love. Ahah! lovesmayfamilis and suchmoon are also distant but close users whose posts and actions I also find reassuring.

There are several of these users but for the want of space, I will rap it up here.

*Yeah, I know these ratings change with time and no one is irreplaceable.

I won't lie, I did go see the piece and it was blast! That's almost like 23years old now, you keep good track's of movie's then.
To be fair, I rewatched it recently so it was fresh in my head when I made that post.  But I'll tell ya, I rented that movie when it came out on VHS at a Blockbuster Video near me.  Anyone remember them?  Anyone?  *crickets*

You can't possibly leave Theymos out of any list of influential forumites, now can you?  As much as I've shouted into the void at him in the past, he's one of the only old, old-school members of bitcointalk I know who's still around, and that's not even taking into account the fact that he's the site's administrator.  Maybe that goes without saying, but pops definitely deserves his props.

Yeah, I completely agree, he's been a pivot here in the community for a long time, if I'm guessing right, ever since Satoshi piped so low. Although, he tends to behave like the Holy Ghost ( I have nicknamed him Ghost already ) lol. It's months gone and no response to Nigerians demanding for a local, even a lil bit of dialogue with any would be Peng. I hope Big T ( THEYMOS listens to our plight ) a Christmas present as that won't be bad though. My bad in the first post, THEYMOS IS THE GOAT

But then, THE SKEPTICAL CHYMIST! Interesting to see and read when you talk about history here in the community, bout combating B-H, you'll always talk about Vod, why ? DT 1/ DT 2 and lastly Merit system. Thank you, for supporting lower ranks like me grow. ❤️❤️

Off-Topic; Never thought I'll see Tom Kruse crying in a movie, all I saw was staunch moves and movie's. Good Recom! Arigato!

Most users in the forum are influential to me, the forum represent all the people here from bad people to good people. We wouldn’t get here without satoshi of course and surely bitcointalk wouldn’t get here without all the users that kept supporting and growing. I respect everyone in the forum and i try always to learn more. And i believe in bitcointalk system so every user i see here I’m sure his merit and tags talk about him.
Personally i worked with yahoo62278 for a short amount of time, he was a great person, hard working and very honest. Which i believe most of users here has the same spirit despite some issues or different believes. We all represent this forum

Have you seen the movie Eyes Wide Shut?  Damn fine flick, one of Kubrick's best (IMO) and his final one, too.  If you have seen it, think of the Cycling Club gatherings as similar to the one Tom Cruise snuck into and nearly got gang raped to death.  Foxpup's role is akin to the red masked character--and I'm going to leave it at that.  Should you ever get an invitation, you'll need to find an excellent costumer.

I won't lie, I did go see the piece and it was blast! That's almost like 23years old now, you keep good track's of movie's then. All that came as a result of the fantasies his wife said she has bout a man who had a glance at her and she was ready to give up her marriage and 7 year old daughter if he wanted her in anyway. That got Tom Kruse traumatized, bumped into different people from that and also to he's old mate in medical school, ( The Pianist ) lol. Getting the password ( Fidelio ) got him triggered to visit and I think trying to clear out his head from what his wife said.

Mandy ( Amanda Currana ) at first ( Ziegler's party ) gave her life else he would have been ganged raped lol, Too much of Tom Kruse's curiosity got him inner that house. And the media ? They're shit! They tell you what they want you to hear, not what happened exactly and are controlled by top billionaires with them big limo's. It was finally tagged EX-Beauty queen died of drug overdose and shit. Same shit going round presently still with the internet. ( Social media ). What's more fascinating was the wife dreaming, and her husband having reality of it all. Gadamit! I loved that shit!  Roll Eyes. I think I'll watch it again during Christmas Eve lol

Inflencial people in the forum ? Satoshi gets first place for me. loyceV,  the various moderators always busy,  lovesmayfamilis, I swear you should go work with the FBI bursting scammers lol, I admire you alot for those brilliant detective works. To C-Brain Boss , Igehh, The Sceptical Chymist, thanks for being original and genuinely supporting lower ranks grow. And to the rest I didn't mention also you all are great supporting and pushing the community forward, I won't forget Welsh lol.

Satoshi may have over 1 million Bitcoin but would have no influence over the direction of Bitcoin now because it has grown in to something way beyond what Satoshi expected. Satoshi could be revered, loved or loathed in various measures by various groups but will not be able influence anything crypto related no matter how many people would blindly follow.
The world wide web hasn't got a lot of enemies. A lot of people made money from it. Whereas Bitcoin, has the potential to make people money, but it goes directly against our fiat system which is exploited by many people due to the way it's designed. So, Satoshi returning would likely mean people would try to find dirt on them, and they might return without revealing themselves, which would be great, but the more active Satoshi is, the more of a profile people can put together, and therefore the more likely they're to finding their identity.

I think it could be bad, regardless if Satoshi hasn't got any dirt. Dirt would likely be pinned on him, and all sorts of rumours floating about, and it's much easier to do that when there's a identity to connect it too. We've seen our news system run with stories without credibility before, so I haven't got a whole lot of confidence in them to not report bogus stories if they have the chance.

Probably. Although, dare I say it from a community perspective I'd imagine theymos would be more influential. I mean the probability of Satoshi returning after all these years is probably close to zero, but if they did it'd be interesting to know what sort of influence they would have not only on this community, but the general Bitcoin community. Bitcoin's changed so much, it's almost like when you were a child, and now you're an adult you're completely different to what you were back then. Bitcoin has similarly matured, and taken a path that's probably a little bit different to what Satoshi had in mind.
It does seem highly unlikely Satoshi will return to this forum. Though not impossible it would be an odd move to reappear given that the only way to do it would be to sign known addresses but even then conspiracy theorists would not accept it.

As for the growth of Bitcoin, it is difficult to gain an understanding of whether Satoshi would approve of where Bitcoin is today and whether Satoshi would be happy with the post-Satoshi trajectory.

It'd be interesting to think about what sort of role they'd take if they did every come back too. I imagine we'd have the demographic that worships them like a god, but ultimately the question is has Bitcoin veered off too much from their original vision? And would people be more willing to follow Satoshi simply because they were the creator or would they listen to reason to the other developers which have been working their socks off for the last decade.
Even Satoshi were return and be welcomed back by the masses, the influence wielded over Bitcoin and crypto in general would probably be negligible because I would compare it to a Tim Berners-Lee situation. He is widely credited with having created the world wide web but has literally no influence over how it operates and he has no revenues generated directly from user usage.

It will be great to get satoshi back in live hoping he is around but most likely he is not around anymore. We still don't know the pseudonym satoshi was a single entity or a group of people. It will remain always mystery and it is interesting that way. Personally I like the fact that it is a mystery.

Satoshi's influence is not limited to the forum only but it's all around in the crypto space. Anyone who heard crypto, heard the name satoshi.

For this community?
theymos without any doubt.
If satoshi is back (unlikely) then they will suppress theymos :-)

There are many others but let's not take their names. I will surely miss many if I mention the names and they will think they were left behind intentionally.
