I think maybe it changed now, because of the DeFi trend. YFI and all if its Y family coin will be the most searched on internet. LTC has barely seen any news for the past year or so, so I think it's hard to be in the top search right now.

No doubt, the above mentioned was very true. Speaking of cryptocurrency, bitcoin always comes in top. Even when you ask people with doesn't have knowledge about cryptocurrency, would definitely say bitcoin is it. Now it is over a decade when bitcoin was introduced, also followed by several top altcoins such as ethereum, ripple and litecoin, these coins would be more reliable for investment since it is most searched top coins in the internet.

We have the same thought about these coins. Since, I have known cryptocurrency, I really want to invest bitcoin, ETH, xrp, bitcoin cash, dogecoin and monero. that's interesting enough but as i expected from ethereum, its searched percentage should be 20% or more because of it's high popularity and volume in market.and i think, binance exchange coin BNB should be also in the list! Cause bnb also has in demand & maybe very sooner or later, this Coin would able to gain the top 10 list of most searched cryptocurrencies.
indeed BNB is a very smart choice because it has a trusted exchange platform so I think BNB will provide a lot of development and could make BNB prices go up. take advantage of all coin platforms where exchanges are because there will definitely be support that can benefit coin owners like that.

I wouldnt say its proper to depend on market cap when youre about to compare coins and their value. Its just like theyre printing money from nothing and tipping the very core of currency.
