It is not only the fans that need to moderate their emotions and reactions to a negative outcome on the field, the same can be said about the media as well, the media in order to get more people to give their attention to them will do anything to obtain it, so they purposely rile up people with the intention of increasing the support for their team, not understanding that this can have awful and sometimes even lethal consequences, when people take the love for their team to the extreme.
The media that is driven by the desire to capture attention and boost engagement sometimes tends to sensationalize situations which contributes to the heightened emotional reactions from fans. When the media deliberately stirs emotions to increase support for a team, it may inadvertently push fans to extreme reactions. Media outlets are supposed to recognize the potential consequences of their actions, because passionate sports fans may take their allegiance to the team to the extreme.

Promoting a more balanced and responsible approach to reporting can help mitigate these risks. Media outlets can contribute positively by providing fair and constructive analyses that foster a healthier sports culture, and encourage a more measured response from fans in both victories and defeats. Fans play a crucial role in the vibrancy and passion of sports, but it's important to channel that energy in a positive and constructive manner.

As gambler and a football fan, it most appropriate for you to always show a good level of emotional intelligence whenever results doesn't go your way, because that's the spirit of sportsmanship,
The results must not always go your way as a gambler, you will lose some and you will win some.

This is why i've been avoiding this tournament because the previous AFCON wasn't any different. As a sports bettor, I agree you need to learn to accept these bad results because even the best teams can start to crack on their bad days, and expressing negativity to the players and their management won't solve anything.

It's not about being a gambler. In that situation, fans are just disappointed because that is something unexpected to happen.
The video links OP shared might not be gamblers, but some people can be just as emotional or even worse when their bets lose because of a specific player or team.

Regardless of the outcome of any football match I don't think the fans of any football team should act so unprofessional because the results of the game didn't go their own way, too bad that after the poor performance of Ghana which actually took them by surprise because they played like a team that had already won the match before it began, the team and her fans couldn't control their emotions and at the get got things messy again. I think there is a need for CAF to sanction the entire Ghanaian team and her fans whi h started the drama so that they will learn to control their emotions when next they play in the nations cup.

Personally I have been supporting a particular club for years now and I understand how it feels when things don't go as planned but weake no troubles than to accept the outcome of the game and work harder to win the next game. Football is a game of luck and fun no one should be violent when the game doesn't end in their favor.

In a football match, we will never know for sure what the result will be, even though the team we support is stronger than its opponent. As football fans and wise football gamblers, the ability to accept the end result is quite an important skill and we must have it. The thing called football is like gambling, both of which involve an element of luck and the results of the match do not always match the hopes and predictions we made in the past. because there are always possibilities that occur beyond our previous expectations.
-snip-
Sometimes a strong team will not guarantee to continue winning, but at least there are still many chances of winning if the team we support is the top-ranked team and the opponent team is low-ranked.

Looking at how the quality of the players and how they play,
this will illustrate a little bit how the game goes, and the last one is indeed who will be lucky to win.

I'm not too fanatical about being a fan or being a football gambler, I'm just doing it for entertainment.
If the bet loses, maybe it's not time to win yet, so it's worth being patient and doing it again.

It is obviously very important to control your emotions Everytime you want to out your money in any gambling activities,he who doesn't know that your emotions is the most important thing when you are entering into it.It would depend on how strong you are,and how heartless you can be when you lose money.A soft hearted  person cannot invest money into it because he would cry and lose his voice because  gambling has taken  away his little possession. Therefore,There is need to always control your emotions when you've started playing because if you don't do that,it will definitely come to worry you.

To be honest, I'm from Mozambique and I planned to bet on Ghana, for me, even though I really like my country's national team, in my head my country's national team had no chance of winning in that game, unfortunately I didn't have money in my account that's why I didn't bet on Ghana to win. Now talking about emotions, Ghana was not the only team that lost points and left their fans angry, Ivory Coast also lost points and left their fans very angry. I think that what is happening is that for many years teams like Ghana, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Nigeria, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria were seen as the strongest teams

I was just about to ask OP what's the status of both teams overall but when I read this post, it says it all. It's now clear to me that Mozambique is the underdog, that even worse than the usual underdog against the much stronger Ghana. It's a slap to the face on the Ghanaian team to lose over Mozambique which was supposed to be a bonus round for them but an upset happened.

If that's the situation that happened, I can't blame the fans for how they reacted. It's a problem that the Ghana team should work out.

For this reason, fans of these teams began to become arrogant to the point of thinking that they could not lose against teams that were not on the list of strong teams. But as the years went by, many countries started to have players who play for the big European teams too, which started to break the dominance of these big African teams. In that competition, teams that were seen as small teams ended up becoming strong teams, and with that, games involving those teams considered big in the past, had shocking results, in which teams considered big in the past, lost against teams that were seen as weak

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
I think that was a little out of the rules of fanship because most of them don't know how to behave or conceal their miss feelings when the team and players fail to meet their expectations, so for that, we have to bear in mind that, this will not change as long as football matches and games are a concerned.
There was a similar situation in my country's stadium sometime ago when the fans stoned both the coach, referees and the other officials who were part of the team that led the club to the stadium, which made the football body ban some football activities in that stadium for some time.
So this is not a new thing to see fans going overboard in reactions to what outcome the club come up with this mostly happens in local football because the International leagues already have basic security architecture to secure the stadium and environs.

And indeed, when the final result does not match what we previously expected, this can make us feel disappointed and even emotional. However, it would be wiser if we had a balanced and rational attitude towards football results and the betting activities we carry out, because at least this can help maintain a positive experience and minimize the negative impact of a decision or result that is not in accordance with expectations and predictions.

It's fine to show disappointment in their supporting team if it shows that the said team is at worst in that game. And of course, no violence on the part of the fans. That incident should serve as a wake-up call to the losing favorites to play seriously even against an underdog. They should bounce back in the next competition and show their fans what they made up. The whole team should think things went wrong during the match.

Usually, football fans do inappropriate things because their team has been defeated by the opposing team or cheating is taking place, so they vent their frustration within the stadium and even onto the streets, where it can injure other people. Such actions should be prohibited because they have crossed the line. Usually, the authorities immediately act if such an incident occurs and will protect innocent people who pass by that place. The violence committed by these fans is usually triggered by one or two or even several people, so they end up following him and doing inappropriate things. This requires awareness from fans so that they do not do inappropriate things and still uphold sportsmanship in football. They can submit an objection to the management and ask for a rematch if there is cheating instead of doing inappropriate actions or things.

The Ghanaian national team drew against mozambique, and the entire Ghanaian fans and press team where outraged by the performance of their black star's. in their minds eye they feel the Mozambique team where a weaker side for them to win and qualify for the next round, but rather they drew 2-2 and crashed out of the AFCON competition.
One press man was vigorously abusing the Ghanaian coach as he was walking pass them, calling him unprintable names.

It goes for many sports, but for some reason it is deemed more acceptable or action is not taken against individuals who conduct themselves so badly. Then again, the players are allowed to abuse referees on the pitch, which sets a bad precedent for the fans abusing officials or staff related to the teams as well. If the public fans saw a crackdown against poor player behavior, they would fall in line too. However any people who do these things should get incremental bans that do not reset, 1 month the the first time, 3 months the second time, then a year, then a lifetime ban. Public shaming of the worst offenders might also cause them a bit of self reflection too - as they often try to hide in the shadows. There are plenty of decent people out there who would love to attend these games and pick up any extra tickets that became available, plus a nicer environment would persist all round.

Discipline is supposed to be imbibed in every sportsperson. There is a need to understand that it's a game and there must be a winner so even when you don't win act disciplined on the ground that you are a human and everyone deserves some level of respect.

No doubt, football is a game of passion and it is difficult to differentiate passion and emotions. However, in my opinion, attaching emotion to sports is not bad but a person should only be guided against showing violence due to emotions.

Football gains meaning if there is love, peace and brotherhood. Football ceases to be football if there is intolerance, conflict and hatred. We must be free from all forms of fanaticism and hooliganism. Fanaticism and hooliganism are part of collectivist movements that dull the human mind. From time to time I feel similar situations in the tribune, so I decide to watch the matches at home even though I have a season ticket. I have never harmed anyone in my life because of football. I love football, but for me football is a subset of some value patterns that are more valuable than football.

Well I can't myself not guilty of over reacting because of football because that's the epitome of every football lover behavior. But I agree that violence is no way to go about this feeling with your team losing. The love for football has made lots of football fans do crazy things and some of them are just crazy for the sport and this is what keeps and binds all the industry involved in football and this love and rage will always be there because of the passion.

You can't blame fans for showing how they love their club or their country. It's part of the game and it happened everywhere around the globe.l
Let me tell you a story of what happened when I went to watch a match in a football film house, it's common here in my place, so this boy was is a stammerer and a hard die fan of Chelsea. His club was having challenges last season and this boy argued with his friend that Chelsea are going to win Leed United because they were in relegation zone then but in the end, Chelsea FC conceded 3 goals and lost, he was mocked and when he wanted to defend himself, he bursted into cry because he couldn't due to his disability but after the match, I saw him and his friends doing their things, that's football for you.

Did you know that Ghana head coach was sacked immediately because of what happened, they fumbled and disgrace Ghana for losing to Mozambique in 90+ minutes but I think the fans over reacted, some people seems like they are frustrated and we're looking to paste their anger on the players that didn't do well in the Afcon match.

People just have to know that in sports, for a team to win, the other must lose and vice versa, it is a game that is somehow unpredictable. So, attaching so much emotions will only be detrimental to the fan and even the team if he allows his emotions control his actions and utterances. It is very okay to love a team to the extent of feeling emotional over their defeat but raining curses and abuses on the team is no way an encouragement, it is an unpatriotic act for his country. It is a problem when the fans cannot manage defeat effectively even if they placed bets on their favourite team. Football is one sport that unites the world, if fans begin to cause big issues out of their favourite team's defeat, where then is the love?

there are some die-hard fans who really are investing too much emotion on their games. it is as if the athletes are paying them to defend them at all cost. these fans need to wake from the reality that these athletes won't be there if they cause trouble. actually, it is not good in their image if they are involved into nonsense trouble owed to some crappy reasons.

Football is a great game to watch but it also plays a lot of role on how we feel, think and react to some certain things that occurred during the process of playing and in turn if affects our emotions. We should not allow our emotions to override us as it is only a game of fun and can one day be in your favour and the other time, it will totally be against you. The Ghanaian National team were eliminated because of their poor performance and inability to win a team that ought to have been beaten by them. Underrating is not nice in a game of football and now they’ve to reap the fruits of their negligence in the first place. I saw that they also sacked their coach after they were not able to qualify for the round of 16 after all three matches were played. Let’s await and see the results of the other teams and see maybe they can qualify amongst the best third places in the group stage. But for now, they’ve ti just accept the result and take it as fate.

As we should. No one has guarantee of the result, that's why you gamble. As you gamble, you are betting also with your fortune and luck; part of this is to either lose or win. No matter how huge the difference with odds and handicap, only the result could tell things. With this, being preventive of your own emotions to get over you is the best thing as well as your discipline to the amount you are betting. A controlled bet would allow you to avoid regrets of losing huge money or satisfaction with the amount you will be earning after a winning bet; it might not be that much with what is everyone expecting but bottomline is that you earn profit from doing so. Efficiency is the key.
it is very unfortunate that the fans were unable to control their emotions which led to this unpleasant incident. even though it's quite annoying when your favorite team can't beat a trivial team, that's not an excuse to justify this dishonorable action, especially as ghana is one of africa's best national teams. this dishonorable attitude from its fans cannot be justified because it will affect image of the team.

fans should act normally and not overdo it when their favorite team loses because no matter what, all good or bad actions from fans will be related to the image of the team and that is why it is very important to be able to control your emotions as a fan.
That's part of the game; if you would win all the time, won't it be boring? It is normal to be frustrated especially if things did not go in accordance with what you desire but nothing will change; we just have to accept things and look forward for their next game. I believe it is one of our responsibilities as gamblers and as fans of the league. It will always be between the two; win or lose. Let us not be heartless to them just because things did not go well on our side. If they're your favorite team then prove it; favor them through ups and downs.
