There will always be lots of Faketoshi who will appear just to ask for fame and just to gain people's attention. These people only deserve to be ignored. The real Satoshi has kept his identity for such a long time so I don't get the point of revealing his true identity during this time. If they really want to reveal or prove something, the best thing that they could do is to provide a piece of concrete evidence because people are too smart not to believe in rumours and fake news about personalities who are claiming to be the real satoshi.

It's fun to think that someone else would believe this, and I watched in her past interview that many people were listening to her talk. I'm just sad now that his name is ruined now haha, I'm sure when he sits in the hot seat and people ask what prof he can do he might cry in shame.

Since Satoshi became silent, a lot of individuals started claiming to be the creator of bitcoin. Satoshi intended to be anonymous and had left no trace for him to be known publicly. So, claiming to be satoshi itself is ridiculous, not unless someone will make a solid proof of being Satoshi.

I have asserted before that we are going to be having more and more fakesotoshi, whenever one fails, another will resurrect in other to gain popularity. This is nothing but just popularity's sake, and I hope h does not unnecessarily invite an unwanted guest to his house. A real Satoshi will never say something unreasonable because he knows the bigger work ahead.

Well, this is expected that many will appear and claim that they are the real satoshi because no one already saw the real one. like other other people that they spread all over the world that they are the god, the gods son and the appointed son. its just like that to become popular and people will worship them. so in the next year many will appear again and again.

Jorg Molt was recently ridiculed on Twitter for claiming to be a co-founder of Bitcoin despite no one ever hearing of him. Today, he tweeted that Bitcoin’s price should recover because he just made an apparently large purchase.

Early this month, BeInCrypto reported on a new ‘fake Satoshi’ named Jorg Molt. Introduced at the SIMS convention at Symbiosis International University as the ‘co-founder of Bitcoin,’ Molt has since then stuck by his story. Despite being ridiculed on crypto-Twitter and beyond, Molt maintains he was present at Bitcoin’s founding, and subsequently claims to own 250,000 BTC.

Source link here

The first time I heard of the new Faketoshi himself, Jorg Molt, he was confronted by my man, I repeat! My man! Ken Bozak. Ken was in a blockchain conference where he took a video of himself pointing to Jorg Molt, the self-proclaimed new Faketoshi, saying that he is a scammer. I just watched his entire clip on Twitter, where they even took Ken's cap.

My man, Ken Bozak, was brave enough to do this to really expose Jorg "The New Faketoshi" Molt. I met Ken personally at Token 2049 Hongkong, and he was a fun guy to talk to.

So the new Faketoshi claims that he owned a whooping 250,000 BTC? Are you freaking kidding me man! Since I'm active in conferences, I would not hesitate to take a selfie with Faketoshi saying "I'm a huge basher of yours!" before pressing the button.
I am not sure why they said all the claimers as satoshis are fake. Do they or someone knows the real identity of satoshi?

This kind of arguments are being argued again and again. In my opinion the real satoshi has a reason why he didn't reveal his identity, so maybe this is the basis of others why they says that the claimers are all fakesatoshis.

I think only clueless people will believe things like this, people claiming that they are Satoshi or related to how Bitcoin started. They probably just want to scam people who will believe in them.

I want to see him in a cage with Craig Wright. Maybe somebody can organize a debate between these two, but in a locked space so none of them can escape.
That's crazy!  Grin
But seriously, those two really need to see a psychiatrist.

Just wondering, why people claim for being Satoshi. What do they get for that? Like obviously, people will just laugh at their face and no one will believe fake claims otherwise they show us proof like signed message. Like just f*cking do it. Unless, they're being paid to create such fuss.

It's totally clear that satoshi intended to be anonymous for his life. He had done so much effort just to hide his tracks and he won't come on now revealing in a stupid way.
If satoshi really wanted to reveal himself, he would have come up with verifiable proof. Either satoshi is dead or don't want to reveal him till date.

You are not getting the point. The man isn't claiming that he is Satoshi himself but a co-founder of Bitcoin which is still absurd.

You can see this man getting interviewed all over Youtube too and getting so much dislikes. Not only that, he is lying about being friends with Andreas Antonopoulos which he clearly stated its a lie. There's also rumors spreading that he is wanted in germany, I haven't confirmed it though.

1. The real Satoshi would not be a trader. He did not care about fiat money.
2. The real Satoshi wouldn't need to buy BTC!
3. The real Satoshi would be able to sign the Genesis Block

I want to see him in a cage with Craig Wright. Maybe somebody can organize a debate between these two, but in a locked space so none of them can escape.

Let him sign a message that he truly owns that 250,000 btc first to prove that he's saying a fact. Although we all knew it that he's doing this for publicity and satoshi will never show himself again.

It's pointless to even ask these scammers to sign a message because we already know they can't.

No one disappears for nearly a whole decade to spontaneously sign a message which could inflict more harm than good privacy wise. Goverments would happily use that against him to potentially force him to hand over his private keys and thus his wealth. I'm pretty sure they can make up a case against him to imprison him until he breaks mentally and physically and gives up his private keys.

The very fact that governments aren't chasing after CSW just shows that they do not believe in his scams and lies either.  Cheesy
Let his blind followers see that so they will be aware who they are following. With even the least that he can do to prove authenticity with what he say can be done with something like that. But as usual, reasons like what  you have explained can be his excuse.

That part actually makes sense. It is not ridiculous at all. If one day, the real satoshi decides to show himself, it will be exactly like that. Many people will be hearing his real name for the first time. (unless he is someone we already know like Nick Szabo, Hal Finney etc)

I made a mistake by seeing this (Jorg Molt) guy(!)'s twitter though... Now I can't unsee it. Don't.

As long as people so interested in Satoshi and eager to reveal its identity, as long all kind of persons will appear who claim to be Satoshi. People want attention and glory, even fake.
I don't think that revealing identity of Satoshi.is relevant for any Bitcoin user, it's just question of curiosity. So, just let Satoshi be and don't bother who he really is.

It's not the first and not the last time when someone will call himself Satoshi... moreover, people still believe in that. In my opinion, we will never got to know who really is (or are) Satoshi.
Indeed, it's just making things so complicated but we have to understand that it is going to be a part of our journey and we can still encounter some of them in the future. I just hope that they are able to stand for themselves because they are just putting themselves into a problem, do they really think that claiming themselves as someone else will be a great idea to get the attention of other people? isn't that being ridiculous? because people have different way of perception and it's possible that they may think bad about you. A lot of us are getting deceive by some of them like newbies but not all of them, only those people who can easily deceive by words and not by acts.

this may be not the first because I have often heard the news about fake Satoshi that has sprung up lately, while there is no hard evidence if there someone claims to be himself as Satoshi. all crypto holders of course is would want to meet with the real Satoshi but until now we don't know his whereabouts and is he still alive today? of course we do not know.
Many soon to follow, Maybe when the real satoshi really appear no one will also believed him, as we are intact in the idea now that satoshi really just aim to be hidden and not publicized himself which is better for him as  his security will be at stake. For so many individual claim to be him , we don't know who among them is the closest to be like him. We don't know as we still don't know till how much BTC can be. Both character is mysterious.

Yeah since the real Satoshi still hiding itself so we cannot control those faketoshi to come out to gain popularity or for their upcoming project to be known, let's just be careful with it, for sure if he's the real Satoshi he can prove himself without any hesitatation just like Craig, where in he can't answer everything that was asking for him regarding the blockchain.

I don't think we should be giving attention to random faketoshi's any longer. It is either you have the keys or not. If you don't own the keys you are not Satoshi.

Even if it happens the actual Satoshi can't recover his keys, he would never try to persuade the community. Bitcoin is simple as that. All these lies CW told to the judges, omg. All these fairy tales.

Not trusting anyone but the tech.
