Aren't they're tired claiming for a nonsense talk? With so many fakesatoshis coming around the crypto space, it is hard to believe that they are the true Founder of bitcoin.
He thought crypto investors will be shaken by his threat with his 250,000 bitcoins. Epic fail to his claims. Satoshi will stay as a secret identity. No one will ever gonna believe otherwise they have a strong evidence.

Let him sign a message that he truly owns that 250,000 btc first to prove that he's saying a fact. Although we all knew it that he's doing this for publicity and satoshi will never show himself again.

It's pointless to even ask these scammers to sign a message because we already know they can't.

No one disappears for nearly a whole decade to spontaneously sign a message which could inflict more harm than good privacy wise. Goverments would happily use that against him to potentially force him to hand over his private keys and thus his wealth. I'm pretty sure they can make up a case against him to imprison him until he breaks mentally and physically and gives up his private keys.

The very fact that governments aren't chasing after CSW just shows that they do not believe in his scams and lies either.  Cheesy
I think more or less these things were bound to happen and even satoshi(the real one) would have thought of it that more popular people will portray them as real founder and will claim to hold a ton of BTC. Maybe this was why signed message was included in the original protocol? Not quite a developer but this could have been one of reasons. Moreover talking about these faketoshis, this is just a trend which would obviously end once people would realize that Satoshi is never going to come back or even if he would that would come with a signed message.

I think a lot of crazy people claim to be a prophet this year, now see many people who claim to be Satoshi, so what benefits from being Satoshi now, I have read about this Fakesatoshi, but I'm a little hesitant about reading his Twitter why he buys if he really has 250k BTC in his wallet, slightly tickled my stomach

In the first place, the moment he says the bitcoin price will not recover because he bought a large volume of it is already fishy. In this case, people should already put in their mind that this kind of wordings is an attempt to manipulate the market. In this case, he wanted to bring bitcoin down from his influence. And we can't really believe him, if he is the absolute owner or some sort of a contributor to bitcoin in its early stages, he don't have any reason to buy large portion of it because he surely does have allot of it in the first place.

If you look at the bright side, we know that this will help satoshi to hide his/her/their real identity further. And most importantly, satoshi is not a con artist like them who has a terrible attitude.

Just what they gained from doing this? Is it money? Or promotional activities? I wonder why people would go as far as claiming they're satoshi that would always get ridiculed.

thats the thing
even though they are ridiculed
they want to get that free publicity and as people always say any publicity is good
i am sure that they are upto no good when they are ready to sell themselves for it

They are simply worthless individuals who cannot achieve something in their lives. They use other people's identities to advertise themselves, but as for me it looks like a shame

Jorg Molt was recently ridiculed on Twitter for claiming to be a co-founder of Bitcoin despite no one ever hearing of him. Today, he tweeted that Bitcoin’s price should recover because he just made an apparently large purchase.

Early this month, BeInCrypto reported on a new ‘fake Satoshi’ named Jorg Molt. Introduced at the SIMS convention at Symbiosis International University as the ‘co-founder of Bitcoin,’ Molt has since then stuck by his story. Despite being ridiculed on crypto-Twitter and beyond, Molt maintains he was present at Bitcoin’s founding, and subsequently claims to own 250,000 BTC.

The first time I heard of the new Faketoshi himself, Jorg Molt, he was confronted by my man, I repeat! My man! Ken Bozak. Ken was in a blockchain conference where he took a video of himself pointing to Jorg Molt, the self-proclaimed new Faketoshi, saying that he is a scammer. I just watched his entire clip on Twitter, where they even took Ken's cap.

My man, Ken Bozak, was brave enough to do this to really expose Jorg "The New Faketoshi" Molt. I met Ken personally at Token 2049 Hongkong, and he was a fun guy to talk to.

So the new Faketoshi claims that he owned a whooping 250,000 BTC? Are you freaking kidding me man! Since I'm active in conferences, I would not hesitate to take a selfie with Faketoshi saying "I'm a huge basher of yours!" before pressing the button.

I can’t understand one thing. Why do people impersonate Satoshi without proofs confirming the identity? As for me, it’s a shame to be a fool

I'm not even sure why we're wasting on these people who obviously are just trying to get publicity that's connected with bitcoin. There's been a lot of them in the past already and there will still be those who will claim they're Satoshi in the future. I think we should just treat them like the novelty that they are and don't allow them the satisfaction of getting free publicity. We all know the real Satoshi won't show up.

this has been a common occurrence for some time now and it only is going to happen more and more every time we give these people more attention because that is what they seek. from Craig Wright to all these smaller scammers, they all want that attention at a different degree. the good news is that the more people try this scam the shorter the time they get ridiculed and forgotten.

We witnessed the clown which Craig Wright made of himself in continually claiming to be the real Satoshi Nakamoto and the virus that he started has just transferred into another guy named Jorg Molt as he transformed and shed his old skin to emerge as the co-founder of Bitcoin with as much as 250,000 pieces of Bitcoin under his name. Well, if this man is enjoying the attention that he is getting, then at least he can be fairly successful at that and congratulations to him. I am sure that this is not going to be the last time we hear of this man because soon he can be coming with another good claim that is of course just as outrageous as ever. At least, he never claimed to be the founder but just the co-founder.

of course now it is familiar to us when we hear about people claiming to be false satoshi because previously there were some figures who also claimed to be satoshi but we are not easy to believe even though they showed 250,000 btc, because we believe the original satoshi will never return to publicize his identity, maybe he knew it would be a threat to him if the government and politicians knew his true identity.

He has a hidden agenda on this one and pretty sure he’s just wasting our time as we all know Satoshi will remain anonymous. If he is Satoshi then simple way to prove it but he cant because he is just messing around. I don’t trust people who are saying that Satoshi lives on their blood, its not worth to read honestly.

@cheezcarls the community has lost interest in knowing Satoshi’s ID because each one of these impostors are only lying to us, untill they can move Satoshis coins they should not make such claims and embarrass themselvese. Also I saw his Twitter account he’s not got much publicity, hence I believe soon he’ll disappear and stop making such claims. However if you do meet him then do remind him that Bitcoins works on demand and supply formula it seems he lacks the basic information.

It's totally clear that satoshi intended to be anonymous for his life. He had done so much effort just to hide his tracks and he won't come on now revealing in a stupid way.
If satoshi really wanted to reveal himself, he would have come up with verifiable proof. Either satoshi is dead or don't want to reveal him till date.
Definitely agree!
It's difficult to proclaim to be satoshi in public. They are risking their life, popularity and security when they are claiming as Satoshi. But probably, they know the consequences and if they just making fake news, for sure they just wany to be famous. For me, satoshi is not yet dead, he is just silent for his own purposes. Maybe, for his safety or he just want to surprise the crypto fanatics.

When the issue came out where Jorg Molt claimed to be a co-founder of bitcoin in a conference I guess, I got irritated a bit. Because where did he get that confidence to claim himself as one. Well if you've been in crypto for a long time, you won't fall for all those Fake Satoshi popping out but how about newbies who might believe them. It will just confuse them.

It's so funny when people are trying to claim the glory and honour that should solely go to Satoshi Nakamot for his creative invention. These guys could do themselves a good favour and bring up something new or better still a solution that would help promote the adoption of bitcoin as a mode of payment more feasible other than wasting their time to defend an identity they have no knowledge about.

if nothing else, their tweets will give some commotion to newbies. and will pave the way for some of them to find the real truth about satoshi. so no harm done as long as you are not believing their crap.
maybe a good promotion also for crypto? who knows, because of them, some noobs got their interest in crypto. and so another crypto user in the making will emerge.
people will try and try to come up with their own stunts. it is only up to the user how he will take all the info given to him.

More people are claiming to be satoshi, but the cryptocurrency community cannot be fooled. But ordinary people and newbies who
would fall victim to scams like this. The original Satoshi Nakamoto couldn't possibly confess in such an amateurish way conducted
by Jorg Molt, let the public judge the lies Jorg Molt has done. We as people the smart ones will not get into his trap, let those faketoshi
appear. In the end this faketoshi will disappear by itself, because now people are getting smarter in finding the truth. We don't give
people like Jorg Molt this the stage to make himself famous, with us continuing to discuss it. Now just focus on the analysis of movement
the price of bitcoin, which I feel is more important.

All these fictitious legends about 'real Satoshi' amuse me very much. People who take on this role want to become famous being just a fake, are trying to create a hype wave, but all of them are just laughing stock
