On the other hand there are some coins with very low supply BUT nearly no product. Don't expect them to raise. I prefer 10x working coin to 1000x non-working one.

Monero of course will rise 100x-1000x. A mass used cryptocurrency should and must first of all be anonymous. Otherwise it is a state, corporate or small group of people scam or market/people control technique.
IOTA I can understand, again a lot of hype but we will have to wait and see before we can tell if it will become big. But RaiBlocks is a bit funny if you ask me. For months all people are doing is selling off XRB for prices that are getting lower and lower. A lot of simple bots "mined" XRB and today on faucet sites people are just spending time entering captchas to sell off instantly for satoshi.
It's impossible to buy now as it just keeps getting lower.
When it comes to speculations - IOTA has a huge wall, everytime price is raising, offer for huge amount appear. And cuts price like a knife. What is funny, this huge amount in the end is sold. So for me it seems like artificial lowering price.

Why would you choose that coin over the other coins? I know that WiC might be a nice coin to invest in due to the people interested in it though there's people that are upset and left that coin because they paused their campaign while people were working on it and they didn't compensate the people that were working on it and loss their time on the coin. Their team does not seem to be as organized as people think and I don’t even want to know what will happen after the project launches because they can cancel their project then as well. Florincoin

For me two alt coins have very likely potential to see 100x. They are Neo and ofc our favorite Waves. These two will eventually see something like 100x but as for 1k I'm not sure about it and i highly doubt anyone can predict a 1000x.
I think that goldmint https://goldmint.io will make a boom. A very serious project, read about it in Forbes.

We're talking about weeks here. Price is moving upwards steadily in anticipation of the wallet release. Expect a 50-100m market cap when it's added to Bittrex
