You can create this much coins, but if they won´t have an unique feature so they can join Supernet, then they are doomed anyway and will disappear.

Creating your own coin may very well become mainstream in the future. Countries or persons.

After all it's a good chance creating your own currency is better than just starting to use bitcoin.

For some time, I would not have agreed with the OP, but yesterday I heard of two coming coins, a musician was making their own, and a well known actor was making one. Seems like these will not be currency at all, but merely virtual souvenir tokens.

There's already been digital currencies for years - people were using MMORPG coins to buy real world goods.  Then you had things like Amazon dollars.

IBM's interest in Ethereum wasn't a coin but rather the blockchain technology to overhead on their server system but I don't know if it will actually take off as you can't host your private files on some Russian guy's computer who can probably crack the encryption in a fortnight.

If you go wide, there is 100.000 or more coins already existing. Every game have their own coin. Some are more easy exchangeable then others.

Currently there is only about 4000 active coins the next wave of coins will lift this number significantly.
Just around the corner is a tsunami of new coins approaching probably reddit will be the first one out and every medium to large size corporation will have its one coin. http://techcrunch.com/2014/09/30/reddit-scoops-up-50m-series-b-from-sam-altman-a16z-sequoia-at-500m-valuation/
IBM and Samsung already said that the will fork ethereum they wont be the only once, once Pandora's box is opened.
Governments too are busy right now designing there own coins with Ecuador and Philippines leading the way.

Yes celebs and wannabes will have there private coin too, why not?
After all why would't they have there one money it cost next to nothing and people will buy into it. Most will have a set-up similar to XRP with no transparency and with some system for them to control inflation or regulate price. Distribution is as good or better as any other available coin. The coinmarketcaps will be instantly above most available coins now, in fact the Coinmarketcap site will be made redundant as there is no way to know the real cap of this type of coins.
Money is just something taken with one hand and given with the other.
With this many coins floating about a reference point is needed. In the old days it was the Gold standard now it's the Bitcoin standard.
