wow!

those are some good patina coins Shocked

How exactly the black one worked ?

It is all the same coin.
The bottom right (black one) was the result of much heat. Some of it rubbed off and gave a nice "tye-die" effect up close.
Not sure how the big black spot on upper right got there?? I originally was holding the coin with some tweezers, so maybe something on them transferred with all of the heat? Huh
And.... this was all done with HEAT. I used a small torch I have on hand (http://www.target.com/p/bonjour-brushed-aluminum-chef-s-torch-with-fuel-gauge/-/A-16859914)

Thanks
Wow! they give some awesome colors on heating Cheesy
They do look different and great!
Love the Black and Reddish one Cheesy

but nevermind if you can PM me your address in India - i will send you one Smiley

Technically speaking, if the envelope is sent as a letter as opposed to package, then it should have some sort of letter, note, or card inside. That's all. Sky is correct, it's an international customs thing. Wink

And that is a generous offer, Sky. Thank you. Smiley

Keep those photos coming, everyone!

And wow, that was a real generous offer from your side, but unfortunately I'm not from US and the customs duties here in India are a lot too.

We have several customers from India, and we've sent all sizes of packages to them. If the coin is inside a simple envelope, such as a yellow 7x4" bubble mailer, with a short letter / card /note inside, then it'll post for about $3-5 USD to India and arrive within 7-10 days. Maybe if you paid for the shipping? Just an idea...

Me

I didn't quite get the bolded text part. Please elaborate sir.

Goodbye, Z.
I've added my first entry to the thread, more to come soon.

Misc: Penny in the Nutcracker

(My camera isn't the best either, as quickly I took that one with my phone, but welp...)
You don't want to see what happened after that, but I can tell you, it got pretty graphical between those two!

Defcon23, that's an AWESOME photo! I love it. Grin

But is it necessary to have a BitcoinPenny coin? Or should I just somehow photoshop it in a pic I snapped in my vacations?

grtthegreat, We're happy to allow photoshop'd images of our coin. (No purchase necessary.) Please feel free to use any of the images which have been provided directly by The Bitcoin Penny Company (on our website, Instagram account, etc). However, if you'd like to use the images provided by any of our past or recent customers, then you will have to get their individual permissions.

We look forward to seeing some clever photoshop'd photos. Wink

Regards,
Chris

Thanks for the permission for the usage of images. I'll try my best to cleverly Photoshop the coin. Tongue

I think it is part of the contest to actually have the coin itself in the photo.

I would be happy to send you one if you are in US for this contest Cheesy

Yes, we'd prefer the actual coin, but we'll accept photoshop'd submissions for those without coins.

However, there's really no good excuse for not having a coin, since our forum member minerjones has generously offered to send one. Thank you, minerjones!  Smiley

As for the photos... I love gnomes! (You gnome-y so well, minerjones! Grin)
