Then you also believe the violence of the state must be used against those who earn their way but do not wish to participate in your vision of what the world should be...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGMQZEIXBMs
For socialism can only exist by threat of violence against those producers who do not wish to participate. Penalties, jail time, and violence if you resist handing over your earnings to those who did not earn them.
If you want to be a socialist, fine, then divvy up your wealth and bitcoins.  But do not force everyone else to follow your beautiful vision.
Socialism is not charity.  It is theft and violence, something even a child understands is wrong.

I don't believe in anything related to what you say. I don't see your point.

I am not socialist.

Socialism exist in the banking system, for the bankers. The bank system cannot go bankrupt because you'll always have to pay for their losses and for their bonuses. You take the risk, they take the benefits.

You are already giving all your wealth to the bankers, the gap between you and them will never stop expending. They don't need to use any violence to steal you because you agree with it.

Bitcoin does not behave normally.

Therefore I have stopped treating it as a normal investment.

One thing Bitcoin has taught me is to trust no one. Not even reputable members. I wasn't in the Bitcoin game to pre order anything so I'm lucky.

Here is what socialism gets us, a classroom experiment that anyone can relate to:

Enjoy the read!

Total fail. It has been proved that reward system and incentive are counter productive. You'll find many articles and experiments about it.

If socialism is ineffective, why is it applied for banks ?

It it possible to have money without government intervention.

As a socialist, I always found it amusing that the neo-conservatives claim that The "free market" can be used to reduce government intervention. The "free market" does not exist without government intervention.

Money is one piece of the puzzle. The court system/dispute resolution is another.

Never trust any government for the value of your money.

All FIAT money goes down to zero one day. That's what History told us.

Quantitative Easing is the sign of it.

The One Thing Bitcoin Has Taught Me ... is that even when presented with clear evidence of how governments and central banks devalue currency, and even when there's a great alternative currency that no government can devalue in that way, and even when you're talking to people who actually come to you asking for ways to make money online - they still run away from anything they don't understand.

The free market is what you get *without* government intervention.
